The alpine-type ultrabasic rocks of the studied area have undergone plastic deformation under a temperature about 800--1200℃, a pressure about 0.9--1.68 GPa and differential stress of 0.2--0.35 GPa in relatively dry conditions, forming ultrabasie mylonite with porphyroclastic and mylonitic textures, Primary crystallized silicate melt inclusions and melt-fluid inclusions are discovered in porphyroclastic minerals and ore-forming chrome spinel. These rocks are formed under relatively stable physico-chemical conditions through liquid immiscibility of silicate melts, at 1200°-- 1300° and 1.1--1.38 GPa, equivalent to a depth of 40--50 km. No inclusion has been found in recrystallized secondary olivine and pyroxene, indicating that the plastic deformation happened after the formation of the rocks.  相似文献

The experimental study on the melting of potassic basalt and eclogite with about 2% waterat 800-1300℃ and 1.0-3.5 GPa shows that the solidi of both rocks are significantly lower thanthose obtained from the previous experiments of the same type of rocks under dry conditions, and the former which is enriched in potassium has a lower melting point than the latter. It is con-sistent with the previous study. The melting temperature of eclogite increases with pressure, whereas potassic basalt has similar properties only at 1.5—2.5 GPa and>3.0 GPa, and at 2.5—3.0 GPa the melting temperature decreases with pressure. This can be explained as follows: (1)eclogite only has one hydrous mineral amphibole and the dehydous temperature is lower than thewet solidus of the rock. (2) Amphibole exists in potassic basalt at the pressures lower than 2.5GPa and phlogopite exists at pressures higher than 2.5 GPa, and the special compositions of bothminerals determine that amphibole has a dehydration temperature higher than or close to that ofthe wet solidus of the rocks, while phlogopite has a dehydration temperature lower than that ofthe wet solidus. On the other hand the features of the continuous solidus in the experiment ofhydrous eclogite were produced by the fact that the dehydration temperature of its amphibolelower than or close to the melting temperature of the hydrous conditions. So the melting tempera-ture lowers at higher pressures. Therefore, the composition of the rocks in the lithosphere and thetypes of hydrous minerals and their stable P-T conditions are the important factors controllingthe solidi of rocks. It can quite well explain the partial melting of rocks and the origin of the lowvelocity zone in the deep lithosphere.  相似文献

Ringwoodite, a high-density olivine modification, was first synthesized by loading plagioclase-biotite-quartz schist containing garnet and staurolite by impact waves. Ringwoodite was identified in the impact-thermal aggregates that replaced biotite (together with a mineral corresponding to spinel in chemical composition and with a biotite residue). The physical parameters under which ringwoodite was synthesized in this experiment (P imp ~ 20–30 GPa and T ~ 1060–1500°C) include a pressure approximately 1.5 times higher than that in static analogous experiments. The ringwoodite was formed via the regrouping of and the associated removal and addition of material, as follows from the development of ringwoodite after biotite, a mineral of principally different composition. Component migration was reliably confirmed by the microprobe mapping of the chemistries of the original and newly formed minerals, which makes the origin of the ringwoodite similar to the origin of diamond (togorite) in the Kara astrobleme, where the impact loading was up to ten times higher than the static pressure.  相似文献

The authors’ database (which includes data from more than 17500 publications on fluid and melt inclusions in minerals) was used to generalize information on the principal physicochemical parameters of natural mineral-forming fluids (temperature, pressure, density, salinity of aqueous solutions, and the gas composition of the fluids). For 21 minerals, data are reported on the frequency of occurrence of the homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions in various temperature ranges, which make it possible to reveal temperature ranges most favorable for the crystallization of these minerals. Data on 5260 determinations were used to evaluate the frequency of occurrence of certain temperature and pressure ranges of natural fluids within the temperature intervals of 20–1200°C and 1–12000 bar. Within these intervals, frequencies of occurrence were evaluated for water-dominated and water-poor or water-free fluid inclusions in minerals. The former are predominant at temperatures below 600°C and pressures below 4000 bar, whereas the latter dominate at temperatures of 600–1200°C and pressures of 4000-12000 bar. Illustrative examples are presented for visually discernible magmatic water that exists as an individual high-density phase in melt inclusions in minerals from various rocks sampled worldwide (in the Caucasus, Italy, Slovakia, United States, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, Chile, and others). Attention is drawn to the fact that extensive data testify to fairly high (>1000–1500 bar) pressures during hydrothermal mineral-forming processes. These pressures are much higher not only than the hydrostatic but also the lithostatic pressures of the overlying rocks. Data on more than 18000 determinations are used to evaluate the frequency of occurrence of certain temperature and salinity ranges of mineral-forming fluids within the intervals of 20–1000°C and 0–80 wt % equiv. NaCl and certain temperature and density ranges of these fluids at 20–1000°C and 0.01–1.90 g/cm3. Information is presented on the gas analysis methods most commonly applied to natural fluids in studying fluid inclusions in minerals in 1965–2007. The average composition of the gaseous phase of natural inclusions is calculated based on more than 3000 Raman spectroscopic analyses (the most frequently used method for analyzing individual inclusions).

Volcanic rocks in seamounts of the South China Sea consist mainly of alkali basalt, tholeiitic basalt, trachyandesitic pumice, dacite, etc. Inclusions in the minerals of the volcanic rocks are mainly amorphous melt inclusions, which reflects that the volcanic rocks are characterized by submarine eruption and rapid cooling on the seafloor. Furthermore, fluid-melt inclusions have been discovered for the first time in alkali basalts and mantle-derived xenoliths. indicating a process of differentiation between magma and fluid in the course of mantle partial melting. Alkali basalts and inclusions may have been formed in this nonhomogeneous system. Rock-forming temperatures of four seamounts were estimated as follows: the Zhongnan seamount alkali basalt 1155 ∼ 1185 °C; the Xianbei seamount alkali basalt 960 ∼ 1200 °C; tholeiitic basalt 1040 ∼ 1230 °C; the Daimao seamount tholeiitic basalt 1245 ∼ 1280 °C; and the Jianfeng seamount trachyandestic pumice 880 ∼ 1140 °C. Equilibrium pressures of alkali basalts in the Zhongnan and Xianbei seamounts are 13.57 and 8.8 × 108 Pa, respectively. Pyroxene equilibrium temperatures of mantle xenoliths from the Xianbei seamount were estimated at 1073 ∼ 1121 °C, and pressures at (15.58 ∼ 22.47)×108Pa, suggesting a deep-source (e.g. the asthenosphere) for the alkali basalts.

In situ strength measurements on natural upper-mantle minerals   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Using in situ strength measurements at pressures up to 10 GPa and at room temperature, 400, 600, and 700°C, we examined rheological properties of olivine, orthopyroxene, and chromian-spinel contained in a mantle-derived xenolith. Mineral strengths were estimated using widths of X-ray diffraction peaks as a function of pressure, temperature, and time. Differential stresses of all minerals increase with increasing pressure, but they decrease with increasing temperature because of elastic strain on compression and stress relaxation during heating. During compression at room temperature, all minerals deform plastically at differential stress of 4–6 GPa. During subsequent heating, thermally induced yielding is observed in olivine at 600°C. Neither orthopyroxene nor spinel shows complete stress relaxation, but both retain some stress even at 700°C. The strength of the minerals decreases in the order of chromian-spinel ≈ orthopyroxene > olivine for these conditions. This order of strength is consistent with the residual pressure of fluid inclusions in mantle xenoliths.  相似文献

The products of shock metamorphism in the Jänisjärvi astrobleme in Karelia, Russia, are compared with the results of experiments in which spherical converging shock waves affected a spherical rock sample. The sample was loaded by a broad spectrum of shock pressures, which increased from ~20 GPa at the periphery of the rock sphere to > 200 GPa at its center. Experiments with rocks metamorphosed under the effect of spherical converging shock waves imitate collisions of cosmic bodies with the Earth’s surface, when transformations in rocks and minerals are induced by a single impact event. The shock-thermal decomposition of mafic minerals occurs in the same succession in nature and the experiments, with some differences between natural and experimentally produced shock-thermal aggregates likely accounted for by the smaller sizes of the experimental impact rock sample and, correspondingly, its more rapid quenching. Our shock experiments were the first to synthesize ringwoodite that was rich in Al2O3 and should be referred to as aluminous ringwoodite. The mineral was produced not via the martensite transition of olivine but by means of biotite replacement coupled with the migration of elements. The transformations of minerals by shock waves (amorphization and shock-thermal decomposition) were determined to be controlled mainly by the crystal structures of these minerals. The experimental products provide evidence of the migration of chemical elements within the crystal structure. The structural setting of ions in a mineral determines the onset of element migrations and the intensity of this process.  相似文献

The evolution of the Early Palaeozoic orogen of West Gondwana in the Cambrian to Ordovician basement of the Andes between ~18° and 32° S is investigated for pressure and temperature conditions and age of metamorphism. It is characterized by mid-crust temperatures commonly above the wet granite solidus (~650°C). Widespread felsic migmatite and rare granulite formed at pressures of ca 0.5?C0.7?GPa, locally 1.0?GPa. These rocks represent the deepest exhumed sections of the Early Palaeozoic crust. High pressure?Clow temperature rocks are absent. The crystallization ages, compiled from the literature in combination with new data, for near peak metamorphic conditions of these high-grade metamorphic rocks in NW Argentina and N Chile are ~530?C500?Ma and ~470?C420?Ma. Both age groups are spatially overlapping. Radiogenic isotope signatures (Sr, Nd, Pb) are used to characterize the Early Palaeozoic basement. The Pb and Sr isotope compositions of the Early Palaeozoic basement indicate mixing arrays between pre-Palaeozoic unradiogenic and radiogenic crust. Crustal residence ages (Sm?CNd TDM) indicate a prominent event of crust formation around ~2?Ga, which is known continent-wide. This material was recycled during Midproterozoic and Early Palaeozoic orogenies without prominent additions of new crust present in the isotope record, i.e. accretion of compositional exotic material is absent.  相似文献

We review published evidence that rocks can develop, sustain and record significant pressure deviations from lithostatic values. Spectroscopic studies at room pressure and temperature (P-T) reveal that in situ pressure variations in minerals can reach GPa levels. Rise of confined pressure leads to higher amplitude of these variations documented by the preservation of α-quartz incipiently amorphized under pressure (IAUP quartz), which requires over 12 GPa pressure variations at the grain scale. Formation of coesite in rock-deformation experiments at lower than expected confined pressures confirmed the presence of GPa-level pressure variations at elevated temperatures and pressures within deforming and reacting multi-mineral and polycrystalline rock samples. Whiteschists containing garnet porphyroblasts formed during prograde metamorphism that host quartz inclusions in their cores and coesite inclusions in their rims imply preservation of large differences in pressure at elevated pressure and temperature. Formation and preservation of coherent cryptoperthite exsolution lamellae in natural alkali feldspar provides direct evidence for grain-scale, GPa-level stress variations at 680°C at geologic time scales from peak to ambient P-T conditions. Similarly, but in a more indirect way, the universally accepted’ pressure-vessel’ model to explain preservation of coesite, diamond and other ultra-high-pressure indicators requires GPa-level pressure differences between the inclusion and the host during decompression at temperatures sufficiently high for these minerals to transform into their lower pressure polymorphs even at laboratory time scales. A variety of mechanisms can explain the formation and preservation of pressure variations at various length scales. These mechanisms may double the pressure value compared to the lithostatic in compressional settings, and pressures up to two times the lithostatic value were estimated under special mechanical conditions. We conclude, based on these considerations, that geodynamic scenarios involving very deep subduction processes with subsequent very rapid exhumation from a great depth must be viewed with due caution when one seeks to explain the presence of microscopic ultrahigh-pressure mineralogical indicators in rocks. Non-lithostatic interpretation of high-pressure indicators may potentially resolve long-lasting geological conundrums.  相似文献

Based on the compositions of melt inclusions and coexisting minerals from meymechites and alkali picrites, the temperatures and pressures of the ascending material of the Siberian plume were estimated at the level of the lithosphere-asthenosphere boundary. The melts trapped in olivine show high contents of titanium and other incompatible elements. The rocks crystallized under high oxygen fugacity conditions. The calculated compositions of primary magmas are similar to the compositions of near-solidus melts derived from a dry fertile lherzolite at 7 GPa. The estimated potential temperature is close to 1650°C, which is much higher than the potential temperature of plumes that generate the primary basaltic magmas of mid-ocean ridges. The obtained data show that, during the activity of the giant magma-generating system of the Siberian trap province, hot peridotite masses ascended probably from the core-mantle boundary up to the base of the continental lithosphere. Our results are at odds with the suggestion that the basalt flows of the Siberian and other large igneous provinces are not related to mantle plumes.  相似文献

Stress-induced proton disorder in hydrous ringwoodite   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
We have measured in situ high-pressure IR absorption of synthetic hydrous (MgxFe1−x)2SiO4 ringwoodites (x = 0.00 to 0.61) up to a maximum pressure of 30 GPa. In our study, we combined the megabar-type diamond-anvil cell (DAC) with conventional and synchrotron FTIR spectroscopy. The high-pressure measurements were performed in three different pressure-transmitting environments: (1) CsI powder, (2) cryogenically loaded liquid argon, and (3) cryogenically loaded liquid argon annealed at 8.6 GPa at temperature of 120°C before further pressure increase. Between 10 and 12 GPa, all the samples loaded with methods (1) and (2), independent on composition, showed a sudden disappearance of the prominent OH-stretching feature and simultaneous discontinuities and/or changes in the pressure dependence of lattice vibrations compared with spectra of samples loaded with method (3). In experiments performed with method (3) the OH-stretching vibrations as well as lattice vibrations could be observed up to 30 GPa and their pressure behavior (dν/dP) can well be described by linear fits. Molecular vibrations, such as the OH stretching, are sensitive to non-hydrostatic conditions, especially in minerals with highly symmetric structures. We interpret the disappearance of the OH bands using methods (1) and (2) as a stress-induced proton disordering in hydrous ringwoodite. Our results confirm that argon pressure medium produces strongly non-hydrostatic conditions comparable to CsI or KBr, if it is not thermally annealed at pressures above 8 GPa. Our results suggest that the transition observed in hydrous Mg-ringwoodite end member is not present in compositions containing Fe. By comparing the behavior of samples compressed in different environments, we suggest that sudden disappearance of the OH-stretching band in hydrous ringwoodite could be driven by deterioration of the quasi-hydrostatic stress condition instead of a pressure-induced effect.  相似文献

We carried out a series of melting experiments with hydrous primitive mantle compositions to determine the stability of dense hydrous phases under high pressures. Phase relations in the CaO–MgO–Al2O3–SiO2 pyrolite with ˜2 wt% of water have been determined in the pressure range of 10–25 GPa and in the temperature range between 800 and 1400 °C. We have found that phase E coexisting with olivine is stable at 10–12 GPa and below 1050 °C. Phase E coexisting with wadsleyite is stable at 14–16 GPa and below 900 °C. A superhydrous phase B is stable in pyrolite below 1100 °C at 18.5 GPa and below 1300 °C at 25 GPa. No hydrous phases other than wadsleyite are stable in pyrolite at 14–17 GPa and 900–1100 °C, suggesting a gap in the stability of dense hydrous magnesium silicates (DHMS). We detected an expansion in the stability field of wadsleyite to lower pressures (12 GPa and 1000 °C). The H2O content of wadsleyite was found to decrease not only with increasing temperature but also with increasing pressure. The DHMS phases could exist in a pyrolitic composition only under the conditions present in the subducting slabs descending into the lower mantle. Under the normal mantle and hot plume conditions, wadsleyite and ringwoodite are the major H2O-bearing phases. The top of the transition zone could be enriched in H2O in accordance with the observed increase in water solubility in wadsleyite with decreasing pressure. As a consequence of the thermal equilibration between the subducting slabs and the ambient mantle, the uppermost lower mantle could be an important zone of dehydration, providing fluid for the rising plumes. Experimental constraints on phase relations in subducted continental crust   总被引:13,自引:1,他引:13
. Synthesis piston cylinder experiments were carried out in the range 2.0-4.5 GPa and 680-1,050 °C to investigate phase relations in subducted continental crust. A model composition (KCMASH) has been used because all major ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) minerals of the whole range of rock types typical for continental crust can be reproduced within this system. The combination of experimental results with phase petrologic constraints permits construction of a UHP petrogenetic grid. The phase relations demonstrate that the most important UHP paragenesis consists of coesite, kyanite, phengite, clinopyroxene, and garnet in subducted continental crust. Below 700 °C talc is stable instead of garnet. As most of these minerals are also stable at much lower pressure and temperature conditions it is thus not easy to recognize UHP metamorphism in subducted crust. A general feature, however, is the absence of feldspars at H2O-saturated conditions. Plagioclase is never stable at UHP conditions, but K-feldspar can occur in H2O-undersaturated rocks. Mineral compositions in the experiments are fully buffered by coexisting phases. The Si content of phengite and biotite increase with increasing pressure. At 4.0 GPa, 780 °C, biotite contains 3.28 Si per formula unit, which is most probably caused by solid solution of biotite with talc. Above 800 °C, the CaAl2SiO6 component in clinopyroxene buffered with kyanite, coesite and a Mg-phase increases with increasing temperature, providing a tool to distinguish between 'cold' and 'hot' eclogites. Up to 10% Ca-eskolaite (Ca0.5[]0.5AlSi2O6) in clinopyroxene has been found at the highest temperature and pressure investigated (>900 °C, 4.5 GPa). Garnet buffered with coesite, kyanite and clinopyroxene displays an increase of grossular component with increasing pressure for a given temperature. Although the investigated system represents a simplification with respect to natural rocks, it helps to constrain general features of subducted continental crust. The observed phase relations and phase compositions demonstrate that at pressures >3.0 GPa and temperatures >800 °C continental crust can retain significant amounts of H2O (>1 wt%), whereas K-free mafic or ultramafic rocks are dry at these conditions. UHP parageneses are only preserved if the whole exhumation path is situated within the stability field of phengite, i.e. if there is cooling during exhumation or if the whole exhumation occurred at T <700 °C. In contrast, break down of phengite and concomitant partial melting in terranes that show isothermal decompression may lead to a complete recrystallization of the subducted crust during exhumation. The density of UHP rocks can be estimated on the basis of the established phase relations. Pelitic rocks are likely to have a density close to mantle rocks (3.3 g/cm3) because of significant amounts of dense garnet and kyanite whereas granitic rocks are less dense (3.0 g/cm3). Hence, subducted average continental crust is most probably buoyant with respect to mantle rocks and tends to get exhumed as soon as it is detached from the down-going slab. Peridotites (diopside-bearing harzburgites) found at 13°N of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge fall into two compositional groups. Peridotites P1 are plagioclase-free rocks with minerals of uniform composition and Capyroxene strongly depleted in highly incompatible elements. Peridotites P2 bear evidence of interaction with basic melt: mafic veinlets; wide variations in mineral composition; enrichment of minerals in highly incompatible elements (Na, Zr, and LREE); enrichment of minerals in moderately incompatible elements (Ti, Y, and HREE) from P1 level to abundances 4–10 times higher toward the contacts with mafic aggregates; and exotic mineral assemblages Cr-spinel + rutile and Cr-spinel + ilmenite in peridotite and pentlandite + rutile in mafic veinlets. Anomalous incompatible-element enrichment of minerals from peridotites P2 occurred at the spinel-plagioclase facies boundary, which corresponds to a pressure of about 0.8–0.9 GPa. The temperature and oxygen fugacity were estimated from spinel-orthopyroxene-olivine equilibria. Peridotites P1 with an uniform mineral composition record the temperature of the last complete recrystallization at 940–1050°C and FMQ buffer oxygen fugacity within the calculation error. In peridotites P2, local assemblages have different compositions of coexisting minerals, which reflects repeated partial recrystallization during heating to magmatic temperatures (above 1200°C) and subsequent reequilibration at temperatures decreasing to 910°C and an oxygen fugacity significantly higher than FMQ buffer (Δlog $ f_{O_2 } Peridotites (diopside-bearing harzburgites) found at 13°N of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge fall into two compositional groups. Corundum megacryst-bearing rocks associated with the high-pressure migmatites of the Skattøra migmatite complex (SMC) belonging to the Nakkedal Nappe Complex, North Norwegian Caledonides, display a classical example of incongruent melting of plagioclase under water-saturated conditions. Petrography and micro-textures suggest that several centimetre long corundum megacrysts formed from the silicate melt along with amphibole (pargasite) and plagioclase (XAn ~ 0.47). The corundum-bearing leucosomes are rich in biotite compared to the other mafic units of SMC. Locally, margarite occurs in coronas around corundum megacrysts. Geochemically, the corundum-bearing rocks are enriched in Al, K, Rb and Ba and depleted in Fe, Mg and Ca compared to the leucogabbroic host rock. A P–T pseudosection of the leucogabbro indicates that feldspar breakdown and corundum formation occurred at temperatures >850 °C and pressure >1.2 GPa. The calculated equilibrium P–T of the corundum-bearing rock corresponds to 750–825 °C and 0.9–1.1 GPa. The P–T pseudosection of margarite indicates that margarite formed after cooling and decompression to P–T conditions corresponding to 600 °C at 0.5 GPa. Based on geochemical and mineral chemical analysis coupled with thermodynamic modelling, we suggest that formation of corundum occurred as a result of high-pressure incongruent melting of plagioclase in the presence of a K-, Rb- and Ba-rich external fluid. It is also suggested that the external fluid transported out portions of Ca, Fe and Mg, resulting in an increase of the peraluminousity of the melt and promoting further growth of corundum.  相似文献

The paper reports the first data obtained by state-of-the-art analytical techniques on the composition of minerals and the metamorphic age and metamorphic parameters of eclogite-like rocks from Sidorov and Ileiki islands, Keret Archipelago, White Sea. The U-Pb zircon magmatic age of the metabasites lies within the range of 2400–2480 Ma. The rocks were subjected to eclogite metamorphism at 1870–1890 Ma, with this age estimate consistent with analogous estimates for eclogite metamorphism elsewhere within BMB. Simultaneously garnetite zones were produced. The metabasites were eclogitized at 12 kbar and 700°C, i.e., near the boundary between the eclogite and amphibolite facies of relatively high pressure, because of a local pressure increase during rock cooling in the presence of fluid. The retrograde metamorphic episode proceeded under pressures from 12 to 6.5 kbar at temperatures from 700 to 600°C. The contact amphibolization of the metabasites at a temperature close to 620°C and pressures of 2–2.5 kbar (low-pressure amphibolite facies) occurred at 1870 Ma and is pronounced in the form of an amphibolite rim around a boudin of eclogitized basite and in significant changes in the trace-element and REE composition of the eclogite zircon.  相似文献

We performed a series of piston-cylinder experiments on a synthetic pelite starting material over a pressure and temperature range of 3.0–5.0 GPa and 1,100–1,600°C, respectively, to examine the melting behaviour and phase relations of sedimentary rocks at upper mantle conditions. The anhydrous pelite solidus is between 1,150 and 1,200°C at 3.0 GPa and close to 1,250°C at 5.0 GPa, whereas the liquidus is likely to be at 1,600°C or higher at all investigated pressures, giving a large melting interval of over 400°C. The subsolidus paragenesis consists of quartz/coesite, feldspar, garnet, kyanite, rutile, ±clinopyroxene ±apatite. Feldspar, rutile and apatite are rapidly melted out above the solidus, whereas garnet and kyanite are stable to high melt fractions (>70%). Clinopyroxene stability increases with increasing pressure, and quartz/coesite is the sole liquidus phase at all pressures. Feldspars are relatively Na-rich [K/(K + Na) = 0.4–0.5] at 3.0 GPa, but are nearly pure K-feldspar at 5.0 GPa. Clinopyroxenes are jadeite and Ca-eskolaite rich, with jadeite contents increasing with pressure. All supersolidus experiments produced alkaline dacitic melts with relatively constant SiO2 and Al2O3 contents. At 3.0 GPa, initial melting is controlled almost exclusively by feldspar and quartz, giving melts with K2O/Na2O ~1. At 4.0 and 5.0 GPa, low-fraction melting is controlled by jadeite-rich clinopyroxene and K-rich feldspar, which leads to compatible behaviour of Na and melts with K2O/Na2O ≫ 1. Our results indicate that sedimentary protoliths entrained in upwelling heterogeneous mantle domains may undergo melting at greater depths than mafic lithologies to produce ultrapotassic dacitic melts. Such melts are expected to react with and metasomatise the surrounding peridotite, which may subsequently undergo melting at shallower levels to produce compositionally distinct magma types. This scenario may account for many of the distinctive geochemical characteristics of EM-type ocean island magma suites. Moreover, unmelted or partially melted sedimentary rocks in the mantle may contribute to some seismic discontinuities that have been observed beneath intraplate and island-arc volcanic regions.  相似文献
