In order to provide a long time-series,high spatial resolution,and high accuracy dataset of land surface temperature(LST) for climatic change research,a modified Becker and Li’s split-window approach is proposed in this paper to retrieve LST from the measurements of Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer(AVHRR) onboard National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA)-7 to-18 and the Visible and InfraRed Radiometer(VIRR) onboard FY-3A.For this purpose,the Moderate Resolution Transmittance Model(MODTRAN) 4.1 was first employed to compute the spectral radiance at the top of atmosphere(TOA) under a variety of surface and atmosphere conditions.Then,a temperature dataset consists of boundary temperature T s(which is one of the input parameters to MODTRAN),and channels 4 and 5 brightness temperatures(T 4 and T 5) were constructed.Note that channels 4 and 5 brightness temperatures were simulated from the MODTRAN output spectral radiance by convolving them with the spectral response functions(SRFs) of channels 4 and 5 of AVHRRs and VIRR.The coefficients of modified Becker and Li’s split-window approach for various AVHRRs and VIRR were subsequently regressed based on this temperature dataset using the least square method.As an example of validation,one AVHRR satellite image over Beijing acquired at 0312 UTC 27 April 2008 by AVHRR onboard NOAA-17 was selected to retrieve the LST image using the modified Becker and Li’s approach.The comparison between this LST image and that from the MODIS level-2 LST product provided by the University of Tokyo in Japan indicates that the correlation coefficient is 0.88,the bias is 0.6 K,and the root mean square deviation(RMSD) is 2.1 K.Furthermore,about 70% and 37% pixels in the LST difference image,which is the result of retrieved LST image from AVHRR minus the corresponding MODIS LST image,have the values within ± 2 and ± 1 K,respectively.  相似文献

采用FY-3A/VIRR数据,利用Becker局地分裂窗改进算法反演得到逐日陆表温度 (LST), 对2009年一次高温天气过程进行动态监测, 并分析不同下垫面的热环境变化。结果显示:此过程中可见光红外扫描辐射计 (VIRR) 陆表温度产品在敦煌辐射校正场地两次验证的误差为-0.17 K和1.77 K,与同时间过境的MODIS产品均方根误差为2.64 K,直方图对比陆表温度的频数分布基本一致;对高温天气过程监测发现,此次出现以华北的石家庄、郑州、北京等地和西北地区东部的西安等地为中心的两个陆表温度高值区, 部分地区达到了320.2 K以上;城市剖面资料证实城市热岛现象存在,并发现工矿用地的热岛效应不容忽视,主要是大面积的工矿用地周围植被破坏严重,地表增温更为显著。  相似文献

本文基于中国1:100万植被图、马里兰大学AVHRR森林覆盖资料和中国753个气象站点40年的降水气温资料, 发展了一套用于气候模拟的中国陆面覆盖资料(Chinese land cover derived from vegetation map, 简称CLCV)。该套资料与CLM(Community Land Model)原来所用的MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) 陆面覆盖资料相比有较大不同: 其中裸土比例减少了14.5%, 森林、灌木、草原和农作物比例分别增加了3.3%、4.8%、4.4%和0.3%, 冰川、湖泊和湿地比例分别增加了0.4%、0.8%和0.6%。将CLCV和MODIS资料分别与全国土地资源概查汇总结果分省统计资料和基于中国1 km土地利用图的土地利用资料比较表明, CLCV与两者较为接近。最后, 利用CLM模式分别采用CLCV与MODIS陆面覆盖资料在中国区域内进行数值模拟, 结果显示, 使用CLCV资料所模拟的蒸散增加了约7.7 mm/a; 地表反照率、 感热和径流分别减小了约0.7%、 0.3 W/m2和7.6 mm/a; 与MODIS卫星反演地表反照率和GRDC (Global Runoff Data Centre) 径流资料比较表明, 利用CLCV资料所模拟的地表反照率有一定改进, 并能基本模拟出径流分布趋势。  相似文献

该文介绍了卫星观测海表温度 (SST) 算法的发展历程,给出了所用SST算法的回归模型,并在FY-3B/VIRR业务SST算法的基础上进行了改进。基于NOAA-19/AVHRR匹配数据集,进行多算法建模分析及精度评估,白天最优算法为非线性SST (NL) 算法,夜间最优算法为三通道SST (TC) 算法,最优算法的确定与NESDIS/STAR一致。建立2012年8月—2013年3月FY-3B/VIRR匹配数据集,并在此基础上进行多算法回归建模及精度评估,白天和夜间的最优均为NL算法,分析发现夜间TC算法采用匹配数据集版本2(MDB_V2) 时,3.7 μm通道存在类似百叶窗的条带现象。以2012年10—12月FY-3B/VIRR匹配数据集计算回归系数,以2013年1—3月独立样本进行精度评估,与浮标SST相比,NL算法白天和夜间的均方根误差分别为0.41℃和0.43℃。与日平均最优插值海温 (OISST) 相比,NL算法白天和夜间的均方根误差分别为1.45℃和1.5℃; 选择与OISST偏差在2℃以内的样本,NL算法白天和夜间均方根误差分别为0.82℃和0.84℃。  相似文献

根据广西的自然地理特点和现有卫星遥感资料,对国内外10多种反演LST(1and surfacete mperature,陆面温度)的分裂窗算法及其相关的参数估算方法进行了适用性分析。在此基础上找出了适用于计算广西白天LST的算法,并应用该算法计算了晴空条件下的LST,获得了逐日各个时次的LST实况分布。通过模板分析,找到了求算多年LST气候平均图的途径。针对云剔除问题,通过对公共晴空区的统计分析,建立了不同图像间的数值补偿关系,从而有效地消除了云的影响,最终处理生成了广西多年和不同季节的平均LST空间分布图像。分析结果表明:在10km以上的宏观尺度上,广西平均LST的空间分布与平均气温的空间分布规律基本一致,而在1km尺度上,LST的空间特征更为精细、客观,更有利于反映与作物生长关系更为密切的下垫面热量资源的气候分布,是农业气候区划中更为有效的热量区划因子。  相似文献

Cloud detection is an essential preprocessing step for retrieving carbon dioxide from satellite observations of reflected sunlight.During the pre-launch study of the Chinese Carbon Dioxide Observation Satellite(TANSAT),a cloud-screening scheme was presented for the Cloud and Aerosol Polarization Imager(CAPI),which only performs measurements in five channels located in the visible to near-infrared regions of the spectrum.The scheme for CAPI,based on previous cloudscreening algorithms,defines a method to regroup individual threshold tests for each pixel in a scene according to the derived clear confidence level.This scheme is proven to be more effective for sensors with few channels.The work relies upon the radiance data from the Visible and Infrared Radiometer(VIRR)onboard the Chinese Feng Yun-3A Polar-orbiting Meteorological Satellite(FY-3A),which uses four wavebands similar to that of CAPI and can serve as a proxy for its measurements.The scheme has been applied to a number of the VIRR scenes over four target areas(desert,snow,ocean,forest)for all seasons.To assess the screening results,comparisons against the cloud-screening product from MODIS are made.The evaluation suggests that the proposed scheme inherits the advantages of schemes described in previous publications and shows improved cloud-screening results.A seasonal analysis reveals that this scheme provides better performance during warmer seasons,except for observations over oceans,where results are much better in colder seasons.  相似文献

本文以LST反演的分裂窗算法作了回顾和比较,LST反演的分裂窗算法最一般的形式是Ts=T4 A(T4-T5) B,其中Ts是陆地表面温度,T4和T5分别是AVHRR分裂窗通道4和5的亮温度,A和B是由大气、观测角及地表辐射率所决定的系数,不同的算法其系数的确定有很大的不同,地表比辐射率的确定是LST反演中的主要难点,目前也有多种方法来确定地表比辐射率值,最后本文还指出了目前在LST反演中存在的局限性。  相似文献

地球-大气系统的辐射收支是描述地球和宇宙空间能量交换的重要参量,也只有从卫星平台才能直接观测大气顶的地球-大气系统的辐射收支。目前,长期的地-气系统射出长波辐射序列资料是从美国NOAA极轨业务气象卫星的甚高分辨率扫描辐射计测量中计算的,精度不能满足气候监测的要求。本文根据美国NOAA卫星高分辨率红外大气探测器(HighResolutionInfraredSounder,缩写为HIRS)测量资料,研究了从中推算地球大气系统辐射收支的方法,并对计算出的1991年1月份东亚地区的地-气系统的辐射收支各参量、白天和夜间射出长波辐射差别分别进行了对比分析。结果表明,此方法计算的辐射收支分量,能揭示云和地球-大气系统的辐射分布特征及其分布细节,是进行区域气候研究的有效资料。  相似文献

The temporal and spatial variations in the surface albedo of the Vatnajökull ice cap, Iceland, are investigated. A time series of the surface albedo is composed for the summer of 1996 using satellite radiance measurements from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR). This time series is compared with ground measurements carried out during a glacio-meteorological experiment during the same summer on the ice cap. The AVHRR is able to reproduce the development in time of the surface albedo fairly well. The large systematic differences found for some of the stations on the ice are attributed to sub-pixel-scale variations in the albedo. An attempt is made to confirm this hypothesis using satellite radiance measurements carried out by the Thematic Mapper (TM) and measurements made with a portable albedometer. The TM has a pixel size of 30 × 30 m whereas the pixel size of the AVHRR is 1 × 1 km. Although the TM measurements show greater variability in the albedo than do the AVHRR measurements, the large systematic difference remains. Measurements with the portable albedometer show a large spread in the albedo at sites with large systematic differences. This implies that the scale of the albedo variations is smaller than the scale of the AVHRR and TM pixels.  相似文献

开发AVHRR可见光通道反演陆地气溶胶光学厚度 (AOD) 的算法对于研究长时间序列AOD的变化有重要意义。AVHRR由于缺少2.1 μm通道而不能采用MODIS的暗背景算法,该文利用背景合成算法进行陆地AOD反演。背景合成算法是指假设一段时间内地表反射率变化不大且会出现相对清洁大气, 采用最小值合成即可得到地表反射率,再通过辐射传输模式6S制作的查算表查算得到AOD的反演结果。将此算法应用到2009年AVHRR中国部分陆地区域 (15°~45°N,75°~135°E) 得到AOD的时空分布,将反演结果与同期Aqua/MODIS的MOD04 AOD产品进行对比分析表明,华北和华东地区的反演效果较好,西北地区结果较差。以长江三角洲地区为例可知,AVHRR AOD产品与MODIS AOD产品以及AERONET观测的AOD相比相关系数基本在0.6以上,从时间变化规律来看,AVHRR AOD和MODIS AOD产品年变化趋势具有很好的一致性。该文为建立长时间序列AVHRR AOD数据集提供了一个较为可行的方法。  相似文献

城市热环境及其热效应是当前城市气候与环境中最为重要的研究内容之一。分析地表温度(LST)是研究热环境的一个有效手段。选取2005年7月中旬高温期间MODIS数据,利用推广分裂窗算法反演LST,采用最大值合成方法制作珠江三角洲地区热场分布序列图。结果发现:珠三角地区增温初期的高温区主要分布在珠三角外围的城市,呈由外向内的增温过程;珠三角地区沿河道区域的增温幅度最高最快,增温盛期的地表最高温度主要分布在河网密集地区;城市化和工业化程度高的市区热岛效应明显。研究结果符合目前珠三角经济区的发展状况,对城市区域布局和规划有积极意义。  相似文献

The first Korean geostationary satellite, the Communication, Ocean, Meteorological Satellite (COMS) carries the Meteorological Imager (MI) that measures solar radiance at 0.675 μm and infrared (IR) brightness temperatures at four spectral bands centered at 3.8, 6.7, 10.8, and 12.0 μm. This study reports the calibration status of the COMS MI solar and four IR channels, based mainly on a comparison with Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) measurements. The results obtained from four months of COMS MI solar channel measurements demonstrate that the solar channel has a dark bias of about 9–10%. On the other hand, the four IR channels appear to be well-calibrated as evidenced by a high correlation and near-unity slope between COMS and MODIS data. Nevertheless, existing biases of tenths of a kelvin are still considered to be substantial. Overall, the interpretation of COMS-derived meteorological products should take into account some uncertainty caused by possible calibration errors.  相似文献

对植被的动态监测可以从一定程度上反映气候变化趋势。该文利用2000—2005年MODIS NDVI数据对锡林郭勒盟典型草原植被变化进行动态监测,在此基础上,以降水量、水汽压、平均气温、最高气温、最低气温、日照时数作为气候指标,分析锡林郭勒盟典型草原和荒漠草原MODIS NDVI与同期及前期气候因子的相关性,探讨草原植被变化的气候驱动因子。结果表明:2000—2005年锡林郭勒盟植被改善面积大于退化面积,植被退化面积最大的区域为荒漠草原,占全盟面积的12.84%,植被改善面积最大的区域为典型草原,占全盟面积29.09%。4类草原改善趋势由强到弱的顺序为草甸草原、典型草原、沙地草原、荒漠草原。对于典型草原,其NDVI与最高气温关系最密切,其次为水汽压;对于荒漠草原,其NDVI与最高气温关系最为密切,其次为最低气温。此外,NDVI对气候因子的响应表现出明显的时滞效应。  相似文献

In this study, a parameterization methodology based on Advanced Very High-Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR), Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), and in situ data is proposed and tested for deriving the regional surface heating field, sensible heat flux, and latent heat flux over a heterogeneous landscape. In this case study, this method is applied to the whole Tibetan Plateau (TP) area. Four sets of AVHRR data and four sets of MODIS data (collected on 17 January 2003, 14 April 2003, 23 July 2003, and 16 October 2003) were used in this study to make comparisons between winter, spring, summer, and autumn values. The satellite-derived results were also validated using the “ground truth” as measured in the stations of CAMP/Tibet (Coordinated Enhanced Observing Period (CEOP) and Asia–Australia Monsoon Project on the Tibetan Plateau). The results show that the surface heating field, sensible heat flux, and latent heat flux in the four seasons across the TP are in close accordance with its land surface status. These parameters range widely due to the strongly contrasting surface features found within the TP region. Also, the estimated surface heating field, sensible heat flux, and latent heat flux all agree with the ground truth data, and usually, the absolute percentage difference between the two sets of data is less than 10 % at the validation stations. The AVHRR results were also in agreement with the MODIS data, with the latter usually displaying a higher level of accuracy. We have thus concluded that the proposed method was successful in retrieving surface heating field, sensible heat flux, and latent heat flux values using AVHRR, MODIS, and in situ data over the heterogeneous land surface of the TP. Shortcomings and possible further improvements in the method are also discussed.  相似文献

本文利用FY-2C静止卫星提供的可见光、中红外和热红外观测数据, 开展了水云光学厚度、粒子有效半径和云顶温度的云参数遥感探测理论和反演方法研究。基于FY-2C可见光、中红外(3.75 μm)与热红外(11 μm)通道辐射率对云光学厚度、 云滴有效半径、云顶温度辐射参数的敏感性分析, 提出三通道同时反演云的光学厚度、云滴有效半径及云顶温度的迭代方案; 通过个例分析进行了云参数反演试验, 并将结果与MODIS的云反演产品进行了对比, 最后对反演误差进行了分析。主要结论如下:(1) 个例反演得到的云参数与各通道探测数据有着较好的对应关系, 迭代计算标准偏差在允许的计算精度范围内(<0.89%), 反演结果具有合理性; (2) 通过与MODIS云反演产品的对比可以看到, 两者云光学厚度、云滴有效半径的均值和直方图分布都非常一致, 而MODIS的云顶温度比FY-2C反演值要高, 考虑到FY-2C的 11 μm通道测量的辐射值与MODIS相比偏小, 因此认为我们的反演方法与MODIS方法的精度是相当的。  相似文献

采用一个在大区域上适用的由NOAA-AVHRR遥感数据反演地表温度的方法,反演中国20世纪80年代初到90年代初各月和全年晴空条件下的地表温度,通过比较同期的常规气象监测数据,对这一时期的中国地表温度变化进行了对比分析,得到全国各地区温度宏观变化规律和分布.结果表明:晴空条件下的中国地表温度与气温和地温的宏观变化规律是基本一致的,这一结果对于研究全球变化对中国的影响以及中国土地覆盖的变化趋势具有重要的指示意义.  相似文献

利用针对ASTER数据的分裂窗算法,反演了南京城市地表温度,并用实际观测资料和同步的MODIS数据对反演结果进行了验证,结果表明:基于ASTER数据的地表温度反演结果与实际观测资料相差0.9℃,与MODIS数据的反演结果具有较好的空间一致性;基于ASTER数据反演的当日南京地表温度在23~56℃范围内,城市地表温度普遍高于35℃,市内公园地表温度略低,多位于30~35℃,长江水体温度低于30℃,地表温度存在明显的空间差异;南京城市夏季白天存在明显"热岛效应",热岛强度的空间差异与南京城市发展、规划有关。  相似文献
