Ephesite, Na(LiAl2) [Al2Si2O10] (OH)2, has been synthesized for the first time by hydrothermal treatment of a gel of requisite composition at 300≦T(° C)≦700 and \(P_{H_2 O}\) upto 35 kbar. At \(P_{H_2 O}\) between 7 and 35 kbar and above 500° C, only the 2M1 polytype is obtained. At lower temperatures and pressures, the 1M polytype crystallizes first, which then inverts to the 2M1 polytype with increasing run duration. The X-ray diffraction patterns of the 1M and 2M1 poly types can be indexed unambiguously on the basis of the space groups C2 and Cc, respectively. At its upper thermal stability limit, 2M1 ephesite decomposes according to the reaction (1) $$\begin{gathered} {\text{Na(LiAl}}_{\text{2}} {\text{) [Al}}_{\text{2}} {\text{Si}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}_{{\text{10}}} {\text{] (OH)}}_{\text{2}} \hfill \\ {\text{ephesite}} \hfill \\ {\text{ = Na[AlSiO}}_{\text{4}} {\text{] + LiAl[SiO}}_{\text{4}} {\text{] + }}\alpha {\text{ - Al}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}_{\text{3}} {\text{ + H}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}} \hfill \\ {\text{nepheline }}\alpha {\text{ - eucryptite corundum}} \hfill \\ \end{gathered}$$ Five reversal brackets for (1) have been established experimentally in the temperature range 590–750° C, at \(P_{H_2 O}\) between 400 and 2500 bars. The equilibrium constant, K, for this reaction may be expressed as (2) $$log K{\text{ = }}log f_{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}} O}^* = 7.5217 - 4388/T + 0.0234 (P - 1)T$$ where \(f_{H_2 O}^* = f_{H_2 O} (P,T)/f_{H_2 O}^0\) (1,T), with T given in degrees K, and P in bars. Combining these experimental data with known thermodynamic properties of the decomposition products in (1), the following standard state (1 bar, 298.15 K) thermodynamic data for ephesite were calculated: H f,298.15 0 =-6237372 J/mol, S 298.15 0 =300.455 J/K·mol, G 298.15 0 =-5851994 J/mol, and V 298.15 0 =13.1468 J/bar·mol.  相似文献

Mn3+-bearing piemontites and orthozoisites, Ca2(Al3-pMn3+ p)-(Si2O7/SiO4/O/OH), have been synthesized on the join Cz (p = 0.0)-Pm (p = 3.0) of the system CaO-Al2O3-(MnO·MnO2)-SiO2-H2O atP = 15 kb,T= 800 °C, and \(f_{O_2 } \) of the Mn2O3/MnO2 buffer. Pure Al-Mn3+-piemontites were obtained with 0.5≦p≦1.75, whereas atp=0.25 Mn3+-bearing orthozoisite (thulite) formed as single phase product. The limit of piemontite solid solubility is found near p=1.9 at the above conditions. Withp>1.9, the maximum piemontite coexisted with a new high pressure phase CMS-X1, a Ca-bearing braunite (Mn 0.2 2+ Ca0.8)Mn 6 3+ O8(SiO4), and quartz. Al-Mn3+-piemontite lattice constants (LC),b 0,c 0,V 0, increase with increasingp:

Based on the expert review of literature data on the thermodynamic properties of species in the Cl-Pd system, stepwise and overall stability constants are recommended for species of the composition [PdCl n ]2 ? n , and the standard electrode potential of the half-cell PdCl 4 2? /Pd(c) is evaluated at E 298,15° = 0.646 ± 0.007 V, which corresponds to Δ f G 298.15° = ?400.4 ± 1.4 kJ/mol for the ion PdCl 4 2? (aq). Derived from calorimetric data, Δ f H 298.15° PdCl 4 2? (aq) = ?524.6 ± 1.6 kJ/mol and Δ f H 298.15° Pd2+(aq) = 189.7 ± 2.6 kJ/mol. The assumed values of the overall stability constant of the PdCl 4 2? ion and the standard electrode potential of the PdCl 4 2? /Pd(c) half-cell correspond to Δ f G 298.15° = 190.1 ± 1.4 kJ/mol and S 298.15° = ?94.2 ± 10 J/(mol K) for the Pd2+(aq) ion.  相似文献

The ‘average’ interdiffusion coefficient ( \(\bar D\) ) for NaSi—CaAl exchange in plagioclase for the interval from An0 to An26 was estimated from experimentally determined homogenization times for peristerite exsolution lamellae. The average spacing between adjacent (unlike) lamellae is 554±77 Å. Dry heating in air at 1,100°C for 98 days produced no change in the exsolution microstructure; thus \(\bar D\) (dry)<10?17 cm2/s. This limit is consistent with the recently reported ‘average’ \(\bar D\) (dry) values for the Huttenlocher interval (An70–90) at this temperature. At 1.5 GPa with about 0.2 weight percent water added the ‘average’ diffusion coefficient from 1,100°C to 900°C is given by: \(\bar D\) (wet)=18 ?15 +108 (cm2/s) exp (?97±5 (kcal/mol)/RT), where R is the gas constant, and T is °K. This \(\bar D\) (wet) at 1,100°C is more than three orders of magnitude greater than \(\bar D\) (dry) for Na- and Ca-rich plagioclases.  相似文献

The defined by the reaction 6 MnO+O2 =2 Mn3O4 has been determined from 917 to 1,433 K using electrochemical cells (with calcia-stabilized zirconta, CSZ) of the type: Steady emfs were achieved rapidly at all temperatures on both increasing and decreasing temperature, indicating that the MnO-Mn3O4 oxygen buffer equilibrates relatively easily. It therefore makes a useful alternative choice in experimental petrology to Fe2O3-Fe3O4 for buffering oxygen potentials at oxidized values. The results are (in J/mol, temperature in K, reference pressure 1 bar); (±200)=-563,241+1,761.758T-220.490T inT+0.101819T 2 with an uncertainty of ±200 J/mol. Third law analysis of these data, including a correction for the deviations in stoichiometry of MnO, impliesS 298.15 for Mn3O4 of 166.6 J/K · mol, which is 2.5 J/K · mol higher than the calorimetric determination of Robie and Hemingway (1985). The low value of the calorimetric entropy may be due to incomplete ordering of the magnetic spins. The third law value of r H 298.15 0 is-450.09 kJ/mol, which is significantly different from the calorimetric value of-457.5±3.4 kJ/mol, calculated from f H 298.15 0 of MnO and Mn3O4, implying a small error in one or both of these latter.  相似文献

The phonon dispersions and vibrational density of state (VDoS) of the K2SiSi3O9-wadeite (Wd) have been calculated by the first-principles method using density functional perturbation theory. The vibrational frequencies at the Brillouin zone center are in good correspondence with the Raman and infrared experimental data. The calculated VDoS was then used in conjunction with a quasi-harmonic approximation to compute the isobaric heat capacity (C P ) and vibrational entropy ( $S_{298}^{0}$ ), yielding C P (T) = 469.4(6) ? 2.90(2) × 10 T ?0.5 ? 9.5(2) × 10 T ?2 + 1.36(3) × 10 T ?3 for the T range of 298–1,000 K and $S_{298}^{0}$  = 250.4 J mol?1 K?1. In comparison, these thermodynamic properties were calculated by a second method, the classic Kieffer’s lattice vibrational model. On the basis of the vibrational mode analysis facilitated by the first-principles simulation result, we developed a new Kieffer’s model for the Wd phase. This new Kieffer’s model yielded C P (T) = 475.9(6) ? 3.15(2) × 10 T ?0.5 – 8.8(2) × 10 T ?2 + 1.31(3) × 10 T ?3 for the T range of 298–1,000 K and $S_{298}^{0}$  = 249.5(40) J mol?1 K?1, which are in good agreement both with the results from our first method containing the component of the first-principles calculation and with some calorimetric measurements in the literature.  相似文献

The molar volumes of 19 hydrous albitic liquids (1.9 to 6.1 wt% H2Ototal) were determined at one bar and 505–765 K. These volume data were derived from density measurements on hydrous glasses at 298 K, followed by measurements of the thermal expansion of each glass from 298 K to its respective glass transition temperature. The technique exploits the fact that the volume of a glass is equal to that of the corresponding liquid at the limiting fictive temperature (T f′), and that T f′ can be approximated as the temperature near the onset of the rapid increase in thermal expansion that occurs in the glass transition interval. The volume data of this study were combined with available volume data for anhydrous, Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2 liquids to derive the partial molar volume (±1) of the H2O component in an albitic melt at ∼565 K and one bar. To extend the determination of to higher temperatures and pressures, the molar volumes of the hydrous albitic liquids determined in this study were combined with those measured by previous authors at 1023–1223 K and 480–840 MPa, leading to the following fitted values (±1) at 1673 K and one bar: (±0.46)×10−3 cm−3/mol-K, and dVˉ H 2 O total /dP=−3.82 (±0.36)×10−4 cm3/mol-bar. The measured molar volumes of this study and those of previous authors can be recovered with a standard deviation of 0.5%, which is within the respective experimental errors. There is a significant difference between the values for derived in this study as a function of temperature and pressure and those obtained from an existing polynomial, primarily caused by the previous absence of accurate density measurements on anhydrous silicate liquids. The coefficients of thermal expansion (=4.72×10−4/K) and isothermal compressibility ( T =1.66×10−5/bar) for the H2O component at 1273 K and 100 MPa, indicate that H2Ototal is the single most expansive and compressible component in silicate liquids. For example, at 1473 K and 70 MPa (conditions of a mid-ocean ridge crustal magma chamber), the presence of just 0.4 wt% H2O will decrease the density of a basaltic liquid by more than one percent. An equivalent decrease in melt density could be achieved by increasing the temperature by 175 degrees or the decreasing pressure by 230 MPa. Therefore, even minor quantities of dissolved water will have a marked effect on the dynamic properties of silicate liquids in the crustal environment. The order-disorder transformation in NaGaSi3O8 was studied at \(P_{H_2 O} \approx 100\) bar using a hydrous sodium gallium silicate gel and synthetic Ga-albites of various degrees of order as initial materials. The structural state of the gallium albites was determined by the angle separation in X-ray powder patterns of 131 and 1 \(\bar 3\) 1, and of \(\bar 2\) 04 and 060 peaks. The direction of order-disorder transformations was found to change sharply at 938 (±3)°C. This indicates a first order phase transition in NaGaSi3O8 as in albite, of which it is the structural analogue.  相似文献

In the system Na2O-CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 (NCAS), the equilibrium compositions of pyroxene coexisting with grossular and corundum were experimentally determined at 40 different P-T conditions (1,100–1,400° C and 20.5–38 kbar). Mixing properties of the Ca-Tschermak — Jadeite pyroxene inferred from the data are (J, K): $$\begin{gathered} G_{Px}^{xs} = X_{{\text{CaTs}}} X_{{\text{Jd}}} [14,810 - 7.15T - 5,070(X_{{\text{CaTs}}} - X_{{\text{Jd}}} ) \hfill \\ {\text{ }} - 3,350(X_{{\text{CaTs}}} - X_{{\text{Jd}}} )^2 ] \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ The excess entropy is consistent with a complete disorder of cations in the M2 and the T site. Compositions of coexisting pyroxene and plagioclase were obtained in 11 experiments at 1,190–1,300° C/25 kbar. The data were used to infer an entropy difference between low and high anorthite at 1,200° C, corresponding to the enthalpy difference of 9.6 kJ/mol associated with the C \(\bar 1\) =I \(\bar 1\) transition in anorthite as given by Carpenter and McConnell (1984). The resulting entropy difference of 5.0 J/ mol · K places the transition at 1,647° C. Plagioclase is modeled as ideal solutions, C \(\bar 1\) and I \(\bar 1\) , with a non-first order transition between them approximated by an empirical expression (J, bar, K): $$\Delta G_T = \Delta G_{1,473} \left[ {1 - 3X_{Ab} \tfrac{{T^4 - 1,473^4 }}{{\left( {1,920 - 0.004P} \right)^4 - 1,473^4 }}} \right],$$ where $$\Delta G_{1,473} = 9,600 - 5.0T - 0.02P$$ The derived mixing properties of the pyroxene and plagioclase solutions, combined with the thermodynamic properties of other phases, were used to calculate phase relations in the NCAS system. Equilibria involving pyroxene+plagioclase +grossular+corundum and pyroxene+plagioclase +grossular+kyani te are suitable for thermobarometry. Albite is the most stable plagioclase.  相似文献

The system MgO-Al2O3-SiO2(MAS) comprises 88–90% of the bulk composition of an average peridotite. The MAS ternary is thus a suitable starting point for exploring peridotite phase relations in multicomponent natural systems. The basic MAS phase relations may be treated in terms of the reactions (see list of symbols etc).
  1. py (in Gt)=en (in Opx)+mats (in Opx),
  2. en (in Opx)+sp (in Sp)=mats (in Opx)+fo (in Ol), and
  3. py (in Gt)+fo (in Ol)=en (in Opx)+sp (in Sp).
Extensive reversed phase equilibria data on these three reactions by Danckwerth and Newton (1978), Perkins et al. (1981), and Gasparik and Newton (1984) employing identical experimental methods in the same laboratory have been used by us to deduce the following internally consistent thermodynamic data applying the technique of linear programming:ΔH 298(1) 0 = 2536 J, ΔS 298(1) 0 =? 6.064 J/K;ΔH 298(2) 0 = 29435 J, ΔS 298(2) 0 = 8.323 J/K; andΔH 298(3) 0 =?26899 J, ΔS 298(3) 0 =?14.388 J/K.These data are also found to be consistent with results of calorimetry. Figure 2 shows the calculated phase relations based on our thermodynamic data; they are consistent with the phase equilibria experiments. Successful extension of the MAS phase relations to multicomponent peridotites pivots on the extent to which the effects of the “non-ternary” (i.e. other than MAS) components can be quantitatively handled. Particularly hazardous in this context is Cr2O3, although it barely makes up 0.2 to 0.5 wt% of such rocks. This is because Cr+3 fractionates extremely strongly into Sp. This study focuses on the peridotite phase relations in the MgO-Al2O3-SiO2-Cr2O3 (MASCr) quaternary. Thermodynamic calculations of the MASCr phase relations have been accomplished by using ΔH 298 0 and ΔS 298 0 values for the reactions (1) through (3) indicated above, in conjunction with data on thermodynamic mixing properties of
  1. binary Sp (sp-pc) crystalline solution (Oka et al. 1984),
  2. ternary Opx (en-mats-mcts) crystalline solution (this study), and
  3. binary Gt (py-kn) crystalline solution (this study).
The results are shown in P-T projections (Figs. 3a and b) and isobaric-isothermal sections of MASCr in a projection through the component fo onto the SiO2-Al2O3-Cr2O3 ternary (Figs. 4a and b). The most important results of this work may be summarized as follows:
  1. With increasing incorporation of Cr+3 into Sp and Gt, the X mats isopleths of the reactions (1) and (2) are shifted to higher temperatures (Fig. 3a); simultaneously, the spinel-peridotite to garnet-peridotite phase transition is moved to higher pressures (Fig. 3b).
  2. At identical P and T, the X mats values of Opx coexisting in equilibrium with Ol and Sp is strongly dependent upon the X pc value in the latter phase (Figs. 4a and b). Accurate correction for the composition of Sp is, therefore, a necessary precondition for geothermometry of the spinelperidotites.
  3. The discrepant temperatures reported by Sachtleben und Seck (1981, Fig. 5) from the spinel-peridotites of the Eifel area (systematically too high temperatures as a function of X pc in Sp) are demonstrated to be the result of ignoring the nonideality in the chromian spinels.

Approximately 125 hydrothermal annealing experiments have been carried out in an attempt to bracket the stability fields of different ordered structures within the plagioclase feldspar solid solution. Natural crystals were used for the experiments and were subjected to temperatures of ~650°C to ~1,000°C for times of up to 370 days at \(P_{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}} \) =600 bars, or \(P_{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}} \) =1,200 bars. The structural states of both parent and product materials were characterised by electron diffraction, with special attention being paid to the nature of type e and type b reflections (at h+k=(2n+1), l=(2n+1) positions). Structural changes of the type C \(\bar 1\) I \(\bar 1\) , C \(\bar 1\) → “e” structure, I \(\bar 1\) → “e” and “e” structure → I \(\bar 1\) have been followed. There are marked differences between the ordering behaviour of crystals with compositions on either side of the C \(\bar 1\) ? I \(\bar 1\) transition line. In the composition range ~ An50 to ~ An70 the e structure appears to have a true field of stability relative to I \(\bar 1\) ordering, and a transformation of the type I \(\bar 1\) ? e has been reversed. It is suggested that the e structure is the more stable ordered state at temperatures of ~ 800°C and below. For compositions more albite-rich than ~ An50 the upper temperature limit for long range e ordering is lower than ~ 750°C, and there is no evidence for any I \(\bar 1\) ordering. The evidence for a true stability field for “e” plagioclase, which is also consistent with calorimetric data, necessitates reanalysis both of the ordering behaviour of plagioclase crystals in nature and of the equilibrium phase diagram for the albite-anorthite system. Igneous crystals with compositions of ~ An65, for example, probably follow a sequence of structural states C \(\bar 1\) I \(\bar 1\) e during cooling. The peristerite, Bøggild and Huttenlocher miscibility gaps are clearly associated with breaks in the albite, e and I \(\bar 1\) ordering behaviour but their exact topologies will depend on the thermodynamic character of the order/disorder transformations.  相似文献

Tracerdiffusion coefficients D Fe* (and D Mg*) are presented for olivines of composition (Fe x Mg1?x )2SiO4 at T=1,130° C as a function of x, and oxygen activity, a O 2. Since the oxygen activity dependence of D Fe* (D Mg*) and that of the cation vacancy concentration are almost identical, it is concluded that a vacancy diffusion mechanism is operative in the octahedrally coordinated cation sublattices. From D Fe* and D Mg*, the chemical diffusion coefficient \(\bar D\) can be calculated. The calculated \(\bar D\) is in agreement with \(\bar D\) -values obtained by Boltzmann-Matano analysis of interdiffusion experiments. In addition, correlation factors are evaluated from the tracerdiffusion data in order to calculate selfdiffusion coefficients.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the crystal structure and superstructure intensities in sodium nitrate, mineral name nitratine, NaNO3, were studied using Rietveld structure refinements based on synchrotron powder X-ray diffraction. Nitratine transforms from $R{\overline{3}} c\;\hbox{to}\;R{\overline{3}} m$ at T c = 552(1) K. A NO3 group occupies, statistically, two positions with equal frequency in the disordered $R{\overline{3}} m$ phase, but with unequal frequency in the partially ordered $R{\overline{3}} c$ phase. One position for the NO3 group is rotated by 60° or 180° with respect to the other. The occupancy of the two orientations in the $R{\overline{3}} c$ phase is obtained from the occupancy factor, x, for the O1 site and gives rise to the order parameter, S = 2x ? 1, where S is 0 at T c and 1 at 0 K. The NO3 groups rotate in a rapid process from about 541 to T c, where the a axis contracts. Using a modified Bragg–Williams model, a good fit was obtained for the normalized intensities (that is, normalized, NI1/2) for the (113) and (211) reflections in $R{\overline{3}} c\hbox {\,NaNO}_{3},$ and indicates a second-order transition. Using the same model, a reasonable fit was obtained for the order parameter, S, and also supports a second-order transition.  相似文献

Both natural and synthetic crystals of whewellite (CaC2O4·H2O, sp.g. P21/c) occur commonly as twins. The geometrical, reticular and structural features of the most important twin law, twin plane (100), and the dubious law ( \(\overline {\text{1}} \) 01) were investigated. The strict application of the periodic bond chain (PBC) theory (Hartman and Perdok 1955) makes possible the identification of original composition planes (OCP). Following the OCP analysis it has been deduced that the energy necessary to produce a (100) twin is very low. This is evidenced by the easy reciprocal arrangement of the two crystal structures which can be shown in two slightly different ways, i.e., by a (100) reflection with a mean [0, 1/2, ?a 0cosβ] translation and a weak relaxation (from 0.1 to 0.25 Å) of the common interface. In OCP an important role is played by water molecules. With regard to ( \(\overline {\text{1}} \) 01) twinning, the geometrical and reticular agreement is not matched by the structural situation. The structural and growth approach to the twin laws of whewellite therefore justifies the very common occurrence only of (100) twinned crystals.  相似文献

57Fe Mössbauer spectra are presented for synthetic cation-deficient Fe2TiO4 and FeCr2O4 spinel particles (<1μm) at various temperatures. The spectra of ferrimagnetic cation-deficient Fe2TiO4 show characteristic features due to relaxation because of superparamagnetism and spin relaxation in the temperature range 5–294 K. At 5 K and 78 K, a superposition of at least two sextets is observed which appear to arise from Fe3+ onA-sites (Fe A 3+ andB-sites (Fe B 3+ ) of the spinal lattice with magnetic hyperfine fields at 5 K ofB hf ((Fe B 3+ )≈47.5 T andB hf (Fe B 3+ )≈51.0 T, respectively. Cation-deficient FeCr2O4 particles reveal at 78 K a fieldB hf (Fe3+)≈46.9 T and exhibit relaxation spectra as a consequence of superparamagnetism in the temperature range 80 K - ~300 K. At 294 K, quadrupole splitting Δ(Fe A 3+ )=0.92 mm/s and isomer shift δ(Fe A 3+ )=0.29 mm/s (relative to metallic Fe) are measured. For both compounds the magnetic hyperfine fieldsB hf are discussed in terms of supertransferred hyperfine fields involving vacancies and in the case of cation-deficient Fe2TiO4 also diamagnetic Ti4+ neighbours of the Fe ions.  相似文献

With increasing pressure, MnSiO3 rhodonite stable at atmospheric pressure transforms to pyroxmangite, then to clinopyroxene and further to tetragonal garnet, which finally decomposes into MnO (rocksalt) plus SiO2 (stishovite). High temperature solution calorimetry of synthetic rhodonite, clinopyroxene and garnet forms of MnSiO3 was used to measure the enthalpies of these transitions. ΔH 974 0 for the rhodonite-clinopyroxene and ΔH 298 0 for the clinopyroxene-garnet transition are 520±490 and 8,270±590 cal/mol, respectively. The published data on the enthalpy of the rhodonite-pyroxmangite transition, phase equilibrium boundaries, compressibility and thermal expansion data are used to calculate entropy changes for the transitions. The enthalpy, entropy and volume changes are very small for all the transitions among rhodonite, pyroxmangite and clinopyroxene. The calculated boundary for the clinopyroxene-garnet transition is consistent with the published experimental results. The pyroxene-garnet transition in several materials, including MnSiO3, is characterized by a relatively small negative entropy change and large volume decrease, resulting in a small positiveP – T slope. The disproportionation of MnSiO3 garnet to MnO plus stishovite and of Mn2SiO4 olivine to garnet plus MnO are calculated to occur at about 17–18 and 14–15 GPa, respectively, at 1,000–1,500 K.  相似文献

The orientational ordering transition R \(R\bar 3m - R\bar 3c\) in NaNO3 near 552 K has been investigated using x-ray diffraction techniques. NaNO3 is a model system for CaCO3 and other minerals with orientational disorder of triangular molecules in a simple NaCl-type matrix. The temperature evolution of the integrated intensities of the superlattice reflection \(\bar 1\) 23 and the fundamental reflection 110 are discussed in terms of Landau theory of two coupled order parameters. It is shown that the known phenomenological critical exponent (Poon and Salje 1988) and the anomalous thermal expansion at T > T tr (Reeder et al. 1988) can be understood as the result of a Z point instability which mainly describes the NO 3 - disorder, and a second order parameter linked with the spontaneous strain of this phase transition.  相似文献

P, T, \(X_{{\text{CO}}_{\text{2}} }\) relations of gehlenite, anorthite, grossularite, wollastonite, corundum and calcite have been determined experimentally at P f =1 and 4 kb. Using synthetic starting minerals the following reactions have been demonstrated reversibly
  1. 2 anorthite+3 calcite=gehlenite+grossularite+3 CO2.
  2. anorthite+corundum+3 calcite=2 gehlenite+3 CO2.
  3. 3anorthite+3 calcite=2 grossularite+corundum+3CO2.
  4. grossularite+2 corundum+3 calcite=3 gehlenite+3 CO2.
  5. anorthite+2 calcite=gehlenite+wollastonite+2CO2.
  6. anorthite+wollastonite+calcite=grossularite+CO2.

In the T, \(X_{{\text{CO}}_{\text{2}} }\) diagram at P f =1 kb two isobaric invariant points have been located at 770±10°C, \(X_{{\text{CO}}_{\text{2}} }\) =0.27 and at 840±10°C, \(X_{{\text{CO}}_{\text{2}} }\) =0.55. Formation of gehlenite from low temperature assemblages according to (4) and (2) takes place at 1 kb and 715–855° C, \(X_{{\text{CO}}_{\text{2}} }\) =0.1–1.0. In agreement with experimental results the formation of gehlenite in natural metamorphic rocks is restricted to shallow, high temperature contact aureoles.  相似文献
