2008年5月12日汶川(31.0°N,103.4°E)MS8.0大地震发生在中国地壳运动观测网络区域网GPS观测站相当密集的地区.1000个站的GPS 非连续观测区域网分别在1999,2001,2004年和2007年作了4次观测.震前区域网GPS观测站得到的水平位移表明,汶川大地震主要力源是印度板块向北对中国大陆的挤压,但同时也受到东部与南部板块的挤压.与其它地区相比,震前震中附近水平位移最显著的特点是,汶川地震发生在南北地震带上位移分叉部位,即震中北部明显向东北位移,震中南部明显向东南位移,而震中附近的水平位移则明显小于其北面和南面的水平位移.简要讨论了应变计算结果的精度.为获取地震前的异常信息,分别采用趋势曲面拟合和统计方法研究了汶川地震前(1999—2007年)区域网的应变积累,寻找震中的大致区域.除了2001年昆仑山口西大地震震中及其周围地区外,1999—2007年震前区域网的应变积累的趋势曲面拟合表明,汶川地震发生在中国大陆第一剪应变积累大、范围最广的区域的东侧,且在此区域内积累较大的面压缩区的东北边缘.应变分量的统计分析表明,震前其分布在此区域及其附近同样有明显的异常,剪应变和面膨胀积累均增强.   相似文献

The great Wenchuan earthquake of M8.0 on May 12, 2008, occurred in an area with dense GPS observation stations in the regional network of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC). Non-continuous observations were carried out at the 1 000 GPS stations of the regional network in 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2007. The horizontal displacements at GPS stations in the regional network before the Wenchuan earthquake show that the main driving tectonic force of the earthquake was the northward pushing of the Indian plate, added at the same time by the pushing of plates on the east and south. In comparison to the displacements in other regions, the horizontal displacements near and around the seismic area is characterized by diverging eastward displacements, that is, the stations to the north of the epicenter moved in the ENE direction while those to the south of epicenter moved in ESE direction with smaller displacements at stations near the epicenter. The accuracy of the estimated strain results is briefly discussed. In order to obtain the anomalous information before the earthquake, the methods of both best fits by trend surface and statistics have been used in the study for finding the future epicentral area from the strain accumulations in the regional network observed from 1999 to 2007 before the Wenchuan earthquake. Besides the epicentral area of the western Kunlun mountain pass earthquake of M8.1 in 2001, the results of best fits by trend surfaces of the strain accumulations from 1999 to 2007 in the regional network show that the Wenchuan earthquake occurred at the eastern fringe of a large area with relatively large accumulations of the first shear strains and also at the northeastern fringe of a smaller area with significant accumulated areal compressions. The statistics of the accumulations of the strain components demonstrates that they also showed anomalous distribution patterns in this area and its neighborhood with increasing accumulations of both shear strains and areal compressions.  相似文献

利用Cluster卫星数据,选取2001—2010年期间的616个极尖区穿越事件,研究了行星际磁场(IMF)的大小和方向对极尖区位形的影响.结果表明:当Bz为北向时,随着Bx负向的增大,极尖区的磁不变纬度向高纬方向(极区)移动;当Bz为南向时,随着Bx负向增大,极尖区的磁不变纬度略微向低纬度方向(赤道)移动.Bx正向增大时,极尖区并没有明显移动.Bx对极尖区影响在南半球较为显著,在北半球没有明显规律性变化.此外,随着行星际磁场锥角的增大(>90°),极尖区也随之向高纬移动.当Bz南向时,随着By的负向增大,极尖区在北半球向晨侧移动,在南半球向昏侧移动.而当Bz南向增加时,南北半球两个极尖区的磁不变纬度都朝赤道方向移动;但北向Bz时几乎没有移动.  相似文献

本文是在日本造船振兴财团的经费赞助下在中国渤海地区发展海底地震观测的初步技术报告。本报告主要包括以下内容: (1) 渤海及其邻近地区的地震活动性与地震危险性估计; (2) 渤海地区海底地震观测的条件; (3) 渤海地区海底地震观测仪器与技术的某些初步研究结果; (4) 浅海情况下海底地震观测噪声的模拟实验研究结果。文中研究了该地区的历史与现代地震活动性、长期地震危险性以及发生在华北与日本的大地震之间的关系。还讨论了渤海强震和海啸对渤海及其邻近海域航海的影响问题。在这些研究结果的基础上对在渤海地区开展海底地震观测的必要性进行了解释。本文探讨了在渤海地区进行海底地震观测的某些仪器和技术问题。天津市地震局曾在渤海地区石油平台的油井中作过初步地震观测试验。日本气象厅气象研究所发展的海底地震观测中有关降低噪声与信号传输等方面的新技术与经验可用于渤海地区的海底地震观测。在这些研究的基础上,提出了一个在中国渤海地区发展渤海地震观测的初步设想。指出渤海海底地震观测试验应从观测和研究渤海海底海洋噪声谱开始。为了研究浅海情况下海底地震观测的噪声,本文完成了一项新的模拟试验工作。分别对海面源及海内源产生的噪声进行了实验研究。文中给出了一些重要实验结果。本文所得的初步结果,对发展渤海及邻近地区海底地震观测有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

在塘沽地震台与津滨轻轨之间及向北延长线建立野外磁测剖面,对轻轨运营期间的磁场干扰变化进行了实测研究,并对实测结果进行了曲线拟合,得出满足规划中的地磁观测网的环境要求——在以津滨轻轨铁路为骚扰源的影响范围,地磁观测网的地磁固定观测台距轻轨铁路的距离应大于24km。  相似文献

近距离铁磁性物质干扰(农田耕作、基建等)、直流供电干扰(高压直流输电、地电阻率观测等)是地磁场地面观测的主要干扰方式。在滦县地震台布设地磁场井下观测系统,检验井下观测的抗干扰效果,结果发现,地磁场井下观测可抑制近距离铁磁性物质干扰,但无法抑制直流供电干扰(可通过避让一定距离解决),该分析结果为未来地震监测手段的选取提供技术参考指标和依据。  相似文献

This report forms part of an on-going effort to understand the large yearly variations in blue crab harvest of Chesapeake Bay. Recent sampling programs have indicated that the larvae are transported out of the bay immediately after being spawned, and spend their first month offshore at the sea surface. Although it is well established that a mid and outer shelf southward flow occurs during all seasons in the Middle Atlantic Bight, very little is known of the nearshore currents. This study constitutes an effort to determine if the characteristically light, but northward, wind stress during the critical summer months is sufficient to drive northward counter flow at the surface and, hence, to reduce the chances that the larvae are being advected south and lost from the area of Chesapeake Bay.We investigate a local model of wind-driven currents on the continental shelf with vertical decoupling at the pycnocline. Additional driving forces include an alongshore sea surface slope and horizontal pressure gradients. With characteristic forcing values, it is found that the wind stress is indeed sufficient to drive a light northward flow within 25 to 50 km of the shoreline. We expect, then, that blue crab larval recruitment back to Chesapeake Bay may be partially dependent on summer wind stress. A comparison between a wind index time series and harvest several years later is strongly suggestive of such a dependency.  相似文献

为了进一步加强新疆地震重点危险区的短临跟踪工作,经过1年多资料收集和可行性试验研究,从2001年开始,新疆地震局先后在乌什、喀什、沙湾、石场、呼图壁、精河等地布设了12个地下岩土气体CO2观测点。初步观测结果分析发现,在近场中强地震前,岩土气体CO2含量会出现不同程度的短临高值异常变化,这在一定程度上表明,地下岩土气体CO2观测可能是一种行之有效的短临跟踪手段。文中还简述了地下岩土气体CO2的测定原理、测定方法以及选点要求和注意事项等。  相似文献

观测表明,当冬季盛吹北风时,在南中国海西边界附近将形成一支向南的急流,在一定条件下这支急流可弯曲成波动甚至形成涡旋.本文应用等值浅水模式,采用截断模方法,分析了急流的稳定性,并给出急流上不稳定波出现的条件.分析表明只有当向南的风生急流很强很窄时,由变性的Kelvin波和风应力强迫出的地形Rossby波在长波波段耦合而出现不稳定,不稳定波在波长约200 km时向北传播的相速度约为02 m·s-1,波振幅增长到e倍所需的时间约15天.分析进一步表明,夏季向北的风生流在海洋的西边界附近是稳定的.这些结果在一定程度上解释了观测结果.  相似文献

A compilation of 417 isotopic dates on mid and late Cenozoic igneous rocks from the southwestern United States shows that volcanism migrated northward with time. The principal locus of volcanism at any given time was an east-west band that corresponded closely with the calculated position of the subducted Mendocino fracture zone (MFZ) under the North American plate. This correspondence supports the theory that volcanism was triggered by subduction of the MFZ, which was a major (1 km) north-facing topographic step in the Farallon plate. Both volcanism and the MFZ moved northward at about 3.1 cm/year. Andesites and rhyolites show close correspondence to MFZ passage, but many basalts were erupted significantly later. Cooling dates on basement rocks in southern Arizona cluster at the time the MFZ passed under that area.

Earlier models proposing rapid late Tertiary steepening of the subducted Farallon plate were based on a westward sweep of volcanism. Our compilation shows no evidence for such a westward sweep.  相似文献

For the first time, a substorm event with double onsets is shown observationally under northward IMF condition in this study. Magnetic field data from ground stations and from geosynchronous satellite, and aurora data from IMAGE satellite are examined to study the substorm activity. The results show that the intensity and the spatial extent of the event are as large as those of typical substorms. Another interesting finding is that two expansion onsets seem to occur during the event. A possible mechanism for the two onsets was proposed. The energy source for the event was also discussed.  相似文献

The continuous GPS observation at the fiducial stations in the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China (CMONOC) recorded the crustal movement of Chinese mainland before and after the great Kunlun Mountain earthquake of M=8.1 on November 14, 2001, especially the horizontal crustal movement in the western part of China. Based on the datum defined by a group of stable stations with small mutual horizontal displacements for a few years, the time series of horizontal displacements at fiducial stations were obtained. Significant anomalous horizontal displacements had appeared at the fiducial stations in the western part of China since early November 2000 and several earthquakes with the magnitudes about 6.0 had occurred in Yunnan and Sichuan Provinces. The northward components of the horizontal displacement at the fiducial stations in west China had decreased significantly and even changed in the opposite sense since mid April 2001. After the earthquake, the northward displacements still decreased and there were significant westward displacements. The process of the crustal movement in the western part of Chinese mainland (in reference to east China) suggests that the main force source for this earthquake came from the northward pushing of the Indian plate. The great earthquake released a large amount of energy, as a result, the action applied by the Indian plate to Chinese mainland diminished significantly and after the great earthquake, the seismic activity in Chinese mainland decreased considerably until the end of 2002.  相似文献

选取2008-2016年德令哈地震台水温观测数据,总结长期及短期变化特征,对影响数据变化的观测技术系统、观测环境及人为因素等干扰源进行分析。分析认为,观测技术系统故障干扰因素有供电故障、仪器故障、雷电影响等,该类干扰具有发生时间随机、持续时段较长,突变、异常变化幅度较大等特点;观测环境干扰有人工湖、黑石山水库、灌溉水渠等,该类干扰数据不稳定,具有突升、突降、突跳等特点;人为干扰有前兆仪器现场检修、仪器安装、施工改造等,具有持续时间短、突变、异常变化幅度较大等特点。  相似文献

通过实际观测和实验,讨论了应用气相色谱法测定火山区温泉逸出气体时的主要干扰因素及排除方法,认为校正归一法是适合火山区微量气体检测的一种定量方法,另外发现观测时间对观测结果影响很大,应在取样后相对确定的时间段内进行样品分析,以保证分析结果的可对比性。  相似文献

利用传统三极接地电阻率测量方法对井下电极接地电阻进行测量会存在较大的测量误差,表明该方法已不适用于井下电极接地电阻测量。针对此问题,提出了利用台站现有地电阻率仪器进行电极接地电阻测量的新方法—直接测量法,并使用传统三极法和直接测量法对北京平谷地震台井下观测供电电极接地电阻进行了测量。测量结果表明:与传统三极法对比,直接测量法的测量结果更为准确、可靠,而且节省人力、物力和时间。   相似文献
