In this paper,the data of continuous atmospheric vertical integral vapour and liquid watercontent during April-June of 1992-1994 obtained by a ground-based dual-channel microwaveradiometer are used to analyse the statistical characteristics of atmospheric vapour and liquid watercontent,and the relative distribution characteristics of vapour and liquid water content in cloudyatmosphere,the correlative relation of integral liquid water content L and ground precipitationintensity I.and precipitation transform rate of precipitation system.Finally,the weathermodification condition of precipitus stratiform clouds and seeding potential is analyzed anddiscussed.  相似文献

文章根据1992~1994年4~6月间利用北京大学研制的新一代双通道共天线地基微波辐射计在河北省石家庄等地的监测资料,分析了晴空、有云无雨两种天气条件下,大气中积分汽态水、液态水含量的分布特征,两种相态大气含水量的相对分布特点。结果表明,在有云无雨的天气条件下,云中液态水积分含量仅占大气中总水量的1%,说明作为人工增雨资源条件的云中液态水含量仅占大气总水量的一小部分。因此,分析认为,以往通常采用大气中水汽含量评估人工增雨资源条件的方法,存在着不确切性。  相似文献

Global radiation is an important parameter necessary for most ecological models. However, in situ data barely meets the needs of modelling mountainous ecosystems since most field stations are located in flat areas. Consequently, it is usually necessary to extrapolate radiation measurements obtained from an adjacent flat area to the complex terrain of concern. The distribution of radiation in complex terrain depends upon two factors: the local atmospheric conditions, which determine the radiation potentially available to a supposed flat surface in a given location, and the topographic effects on this possible radiation. The latter have been included in detail in most radiation models for complex terrain, but the former are often only simply treated as constant or estimated by over-simplified empirical algorithms. In this paper we propose a novel model that uses a parametric atmospheric model to calculate the potential radiation for a supposed flat surface in a given location, and then account for topographic effects. Direct radiation, diffuse radiation and reflected radiation are calculated separately in the model due to the distinctive characteristics of and the effects by topography. Based on the parametric model, this paper has investigated the relationship between radiation transmittance, clearness indices and altitude under a series of water vapour content and turbidity conditions. This combines three ratios, R b, R d, and R r, defined as the direct radiation, diffuse radiation and reflected radiation received by the arbitrary surface, respectively, to their counterparts in the horizontal surface, to estimate the global radiation for any given location. The model has been validated with data from measurements in National Park Berchtesgaden, Germany, where six measurement sites with various altitudes and topographic characteristics have been deployed. The r 2 of modelled and measured hourly global radiation are greater than 0.90 in all six sites, with RMSE varies from 16 to 100 W m−2. Sensitivity analysis revealed that the model was not sensitive to change in water vapour content, which suggests the possibility to use an exponential algorithm of water vapour content when there is no in situ water vapour content information in complex terrains. The NRMSE was only reduced by 0.04, on average, in five of the six sites when water vapour content information was calculated from the in situ air temperature and relative humidity measurements.  相似文献

The Prandtl-layer concept, assuming constant turbulent fluxes in the lowest meters or decameters of the atmosphere under horizontal homogeneous and steady-state conditions, is widely used; and it is also one of the fundamentals of Monin-Obukhov similarity theory. Thus, surface-layer condensation processes-essentially formation of shallow fog layers-implying convergence and divergence of turbulent fluxes of water vapour, liquid water content and sensible heat, cannot be treated within this concept. This paper tries to overcome this restriction by a modified Monin-Obukhov theory, which deals with constant fluxes of total water content and moist static energy (instead of water vapour and sensible heat). It shows that surface-layer fog situations (under steady-state and horizontally homogeneous conditions and neglecting radiational effects) can be treated by this modified theory, which yields turbulent vertical fluxes of sensible heat, water vapour and liquid water content and their divergences.The paper also derives a simple formula for the divergence of the turbulent flux of water vapour (E/z) under saturation conditions, which elucidates convergence ofE very close to the ground and divergence ofE higher up independent of whether the stratification is stable or unstable, i.e., whether there is fog over cold or warm ground. Model computations with the modified Monin-Obukhov theory are in full accordance with this formula. Thus a steam-fog case can be given as a demonstration of vertical profiles of turbulent fluxes of sensible heat, water vapour and liquid water content and their divergences.  相似文献

根据全国65个甲种日射站自建站起至1978年9:30,12:30,15:30各时次直接辐射的观测资料,计算了大气透明系数。为了便于各地间的比较和绘制全国分布图,所有各时次的资料都统一订正到M=2的情况下,计算中太阳常数取值S_0=1.98卡厘米~(-2)分~(-1)。 就我国的具体情况而论,地势对大气透明度的影响最为显著,直接的结果是:高原为透明度高值区,盆地为低值区。 分析了影响大气透明度的两个重要因子——水汽和气溶胶的分布特点,以及它们之间的比例关系。水汽对辐射的吸收系根据探空资料求得的整层大气的含水量按Mugge和Muller的公式计算的。  相似文献

地基微波辐射计对乌鲁木齐暴雨天气过程的观测分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
MP-3000A是一种新型大气探测仪器,可以连续得到从地面到10km高度上高分辨率的温度、相对湿度、水汽廓线以及液态水廓线。通过选取2011年5月1日的微波辐射计观测数据,分析在降水发生前后的水汽密度和液态水含量的变化,发现大气降水与水汽密度和液态水含量有很紧密的联系。大气中的可降水量一般会维持在25mm,当大气中的可降水量值超过50mm,液态水含量值开始增加的时候,发生降水的可能性增大;降水过后,液态水含量若是没有回落到0.0mm以内,在未来的2~3h内还是会发生降水,因此研究微波辐射计探测的大气水汽密度和液态水含量,将有助于提高短时、临近预报的准确度。  相似文献

利用常规观测资料、数值预报物理量场和NCEP/NCAR每日4次全球再分析网格点资料,对2010年03月28日发生在克州境内的一场罕见大风、沙尘暴天气过程进行了诊断分析,探讨了这次强风沙天气的成因,结果表明:高空低压槽和地面冷锋及锋后强冷平流、高空急流的加强及高空形成的次级环流使高空动量有效下传到地面起到了积极的动能作用,大风沙尘上空螺旋度上负下正的垂直分布与大风沙尘的出现有很好的对应关系,大风沙尘发生前后压、温、湿要素出现的剧烈突变对预报也有很好的指示意义。  相似文献

北京雾与霾天气大气液态水含量和相对湿度层结特征分析   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为了研究空气中的水汽层结变化对雾、霾生消的影响,对北京2011年10月至2012年2月雾、霾天气个例中能见度变化和地基微波辐射计观测的相对湿度及液态水含量资料进行分析,结果表明:大气总液态水含量时序图对预报雾、霾没有参考意义,无论是大气总液态水含量数值的大小,还是大气总液态水含量随时间的变化都不能预测雾、霾的生成与消散。但不同时刻大气液态水含量的廓线图对雾、霾天气的预报还是具有指示意义的,因为雾、霾生消前后大气液态水含量层结变化明显。进一步分析不同情况的雾、霾天气发现:雾、霾生消前后均无降水出现和先出大雾后降水的情况,即降水后消散的雾、霾天气,大气相对湿度的变化和液态水含量的变化主要集中在3 km以下;对于先降水后出大雾的情况,整层大气相对湿度的变化都很明显,液态水含量的变化主要在3~7 km之间。由于降水既可以增加近地面的空气湿度,又可以消耗空气中的水汽,因此降水既是大雾形成的有利条件,也是大雾消散的有利条件。有降水出现的大雾天气,有饱和层(空气相对湿度达到或接近100%),无降水出现的重霾天气,则没有饱和层,且整体相对湿度偏低。  相似文献

The heat exchange between ocean and atmosphere over cold water is studied by calculating all terms in the energy balance twice each day for the year 1971 for the Sable Island region.

The atmospheric long‐wave radiation is relatively constant because of frequent overcast and low clouds. The surface long‐wave balance is markedly negative in winter but slightly positive for a short time in summer, due to strong advection of warm moist air over the cold water. In winter, the turbulent fluxes are directed upwards and are strong, the upward fluxes beginning after the middle of August and lasting until mid‐March. The maximum daily values of latent heat flux are 400 to 500 ly day?1 (194 to 242 W m?2), about a third or a quarter of the magnitude over the warmer Gulf Stream water. The summer fluxes are fairly constant and directed downward.

The water of the Labrador Current in the Sable Island region warms substantially from March to September and conversely cools intensely in the period November‐January.

A comparison of the energy exchange for a current and for water without motion shows that the surface temperatures would be similar in summer, and the temperature drop would be about equal until November. From that time on, the surface temperature would level off for a water body with no current, but in actual conditions the surface temperature continues to drop to a late winter minimum of about 1°C.

Atmospheric advection of latent heat was calculated by assuming that the daily precipitation was always caused first by condensation of all locally evaporated water with any remainder being supplied by water‐vapour advection. The main cause for atmospheric heating in the Sable Island area was found to be condensation of imported water vapour. The region is, in summer, a marked sink for atmospheric heat and water content. For water it remains a sink even in winter. For sensible heat it becomes a source from November to March. The warming of the atmosphere is caused by release of latent heat of advected water vapour in the period February‐August. During the months September‐January the heat sources are both water‐vapour advection and surface turbulent terms.  相似文献

根据1955—1961年的材料,研究了每年盛夏长江上游地区的水分循环,给出了本区四个边界上各年各层的水汽输送量及各年的水分循环各要素值,并与其它几个地区的水分循环情况进行了比较。文中也简略讨论了本区水汽输送与夏季环流形势间的关系。 本区的水分循环,与其它地区相比较,有一些独特之处:水分循环系数K及水分循环强度均较大(K=1.094)。蒸发与降水量之比值较小。水汽输送最大的层次较高(在850—700毫巴间)。造成这些特点的原因主要在于本区的特殊自然地理条件(是群山环抱,海拔较高的盆地)。可见自然地理条件对水分循环情况有重要影响。 可以推论,在本地区采取增加内部蒸发量的措施,对于降水量之增加,效果似乎应该较在平原地区显著。  相似文献

2021年8月西南地区东部降水量为1961年以来同期第2多,比历史最多的1998年仅差0.9 mm,极为异常。利用西南地区东部118个气象台站1961—2021年夏季8月逐日降水资料及ERA5逐月高度场、纬向风、经向风、比湿和水汽场等再分析资料,采用拉格朗日水汽轨迹模式和现代统计诊断方法,分析了2021年8月西南地区东部降水出现异常偏多的主要水汽输送条件和水汽来源、造成降水异常的大气环流特征等。结果表明:2021年8月西南地区东部水汽的净流入主要来自于对流层中、低层,以低层的水汽贡献最大;2021年8月水汽输送路径有一定的独特性,以低层来自于我国东部地区的水汽路径的轨迹数量最多,与以往水汽主要轨迹和贡献来自南部路径的特征有所不同。2021年8月西南地区东部降水异常偏多与大气环流异常紧密相关,主是体现在500 hPa高度场上乌拉尔山附近和鄂霍次克海阻高异常偏强、中纬度低值系统(东北低涡等)异常活跃、印度低压偏弱和和西太副高异常西伸且强度偏强;大气环流系统引导下有利的水汽输送造成了西南地区东部降水的异常偏多。印度洋海温的持续偏暖可能是维持2021年8月西太副高持续偏强、偏西的重要外强迫因子...  相似文献

A method for determining evaporation rates and thermodynamic properties of aqueous solution droplets is introduced. The method combines evaporation rate measurements using modified TDMA technique with data evaluation using an accurate evaporation model. The first set of data has been collected and evaluated for succinic acid aqueous solution droplets.Evaporation rates of succinic acid solution droplets have been measured using a TDMA system at controlled relative humidity (65%) and temperature (298 K). A temperature-dependent expression for the saturation vapour pressure of pure liquid phase succinic acid at atmospheric temperatures has been derived by analysing the evaporation rate data with a numerical model. The obtained saturation vapour pressure of liquid phase succinic acid is ln(p) = 118.41 − 16204.8/T − 12.452ln(T). The vapour pressure is in unit of Pascal and the temperature in Kelvin. A linear expression for the enthalpy of vaporization for liquid state succinic acid is also presented.According to the results presented in the following, a literature expression for the vapour pressure of liquid phase succinic acid defined for temperatures higher than 461 K [Yaws, C.L., 2003. Yaws' Handbook of Thermodynamic and Physical Properties of Chemical Compounds, Knovel] can be extrapolated to atmospheric temperatures with very good accuracy. The results also suggest that at 298 K the mass accommodation coefficient of succinic acid is unity or very close to unity.  相似文献

Atmospheric water vapour is treated as an equilibrium mixture of gas-phase water clusters, (H2O) i , using recent precise quantum-chemical data on these species. It is shown that within a typical atmospheric temperature/humidity profile, the cluster populations in the Earth's atmosphere decrease with increasing height, being of the order of magnitude of 0.1 mg/m3 and 0.1 g/m3 for the water dimer and trimer, respectively, in the atmospheric pressure region of 700–800 mb.Dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the preparation of the first artificial snow crystal by Prof. Ukitiro Nakaya at the Hokkaido University on 12 March, 1936 (see, e.g., Nakaya et al. 本文计算了降水与大气CO_2和SO_2处于平衡态时,干净地区和污染地区的降水酸度。结果是,中纬度干净地区降水的pH值在5以下。在气溶胶浓度较高的北京地区,由于气溶胶中的氯化物和CaO与降水中的酸性物质反应,降水的pH值增加。降水pH值与云中液态水含量、降水量以及气溶胶中Cl和Ca的浓度有关。用这种机制可以解释在SO_2和气溶胶浓度都很高的北京地区所观测到的非酸性降水。  相似文献

High-resolution water vapour measurements made by the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Raman lidar operated at the Southern Great Plains Climate Research Facility site near Lamont, Oklahoma, U.S.A. are presented. Using a 2-h measurement period for the convective boundary layer (CBL) on 13 September 2005, with temporal and spatial resolutions of 10 s and 75 m, respectively, spectral and autocovariance analyses of water vapour mixing ratio time series are performed. It is demonstrated that the major part of the inertial subrange was detected and that the integral scale was significantly larger than the time resolution. Consequently, the major part of the turbulent fluctuations was resolved. Different methods to retrieve noise error profiles yield consistent results and compare well with noise profiles estimated using Poisson statistics of the Raman lidar signals. Integral scale, mixing-ratio variance, skewness, and kurtosis profiles were determined including error bars with respect to statistical and sampling errors. The integral scale ranges between 70 and 130 s at the top of the CBL. Within the CBL, up to the third order, noise errors are significantly smaller than sampling errors and the absolute values of turbulent variables, respectively. The mixing-ratio variance profile rises monotonically from ≈0.07 to ≈3.7 g2 kg−2 in the entrainment zone. The skewness is nearly zero up to 0.6 z/z i , becomes −1 around 0.7–0.8 z/z i , crosses zero at about 0.95 z/z i , and reaches about 1.7 at 1.1 z/z i (here, z is the height and z i is the CBL depth). The noise errors are too large to derive fourth-order moments with sufficient accuracy. Consequently, to the best of our knowledge, the ARM Raman lidar is the first water vapour Raman lidar with demonstrated capability to retrieve profiles of turbulent variables up to the third order during daytime throughout the atmospheric CBL.  相似文献

六盘山区是中国典型的农牧交错带和生态脆弱带,也是黄土高原重要的水源涵养地、生态保护区及国家级扶贫开发区。利用2017年6-11月隆德气象站地基多通道微波辐射计资料,结合同期平凉探空站及隆德地面降水等观测资料,分析了六盘山区夏秋季大气水汽、液态水变化特征。结果表明:六盘山区夏秋季在降水天气背景下,大气水汽含量和液态水含量均较高,分别为无降水天气背景下的1.4倍和7.0倍;降水天气背景下水汽在5000 m以下有明显的增加,且在此高度范围内的水汽密度随高度的递减率比无降水天气背景下明显偏小;各高度层的液态水相比无降水天气背景下均有明显增大,除6月外,主峰值均出现在0℃层高度层以下。六盘山区夏秋季各月中,6-9月。大气水汽含量高值区均出现在正午到傍晚时段,低值区均出现在日出前后;液态水含量在日出前、午后及傍晚分别出现峰值,最明显的峰值出现在午后。对一次对流性降水天气过程分析后发现,降水发生前40 min大气水汽含量和液态水含量出现两次明显的跃增,水汽向上输送不断加强,2500-7500 m高度的相对湿度明显增大。  相似文献

On the contribution of atmospheric moisture to dew formation   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
The relative contributions of dewfall (a flux of water vapour from air to surface) and distillation (a flux of water vapour from soil to canopy) to dew formation on closed canopy and bare soil surfaces are assessed, and the dependence of dew amount upon wind speed, absolute temperature, atmospheric stability, relative humidity, soil characteristics and cloudiness, all of which are significant factors, is evaluated. Some of these evaluations provide refinements to similar ones given in Monteith (1961). High dewfall rates are usually 0.06 mm hr–1 over canopy or bare soil, though upon a canopy under soil-saturated and air-saturated conditions, rates of dew formation may reach 0.07–0.09 mm hr–1 with contributions from distillation. Various sets of observations are reanalyzed to illustrate the importance of the horizontal advection of moisture in the nocturnal boundary layer (NBL) to observed high rates of dew formation arising from the atmospheric contribution of water vapour (dewfall). These locally observed high dewfall rates must be the result of small-scale or mesoscale horizontal advection of moisture in the NBL, since the humidity changes within the typically shallow NBL required to balance the loss of water at the surface are not observed. Over extensive areas of uniform surface (horizontal scales 10 km), such continuously high dewfall rates could only be balanced by a local supply of atmospheric moisture since advection of moisture would necessarily be small.  相似文献

根据地基双通道微波辐射计观测的降水天气下大气水汽、液水含量的变化,分析了北京1989年夏季1次降水过程和1990年冬季5次降雪过程的云水量资料,讨论了降水过程中汽态水和液态水含量的一些统计特征及其随时间的变化,并估算了夏季降水中凝结水向降水的转化率。结合极轨气象卫星的遥感云顶温度资料,以及冬季地面降雪强度的观测,对北京冬季降水系统中的液水含量与降水的相关进行了分析,探讨了北京地区降雪的潜力。  相似文献
