塔里木盆地早志留世痕迹化石与准层序相组合   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
塔里木盆地塔中地区下志留统塔塔埃尔塔格组发育有海进体系域。根据痕迹化石分析并结合沉积学特征,海进体系域准层序由5类岩相组成:差分选多源砾岩相和含砾粉砂质泥岩相为海侵滞留沉积,发育固底控制Diplocraterion痕迹化石;含交错层理细砂岩相由高能条件下的前滨和中上临滨细砂岩组成,发育Skolithos和Macaronichnus等痕迹化石;砂、泥岩互层相反映了受风暴影响的下临滨环境,发育Skolithos、Palaeophycus和Chondrites等痕迹化石;强生物扰动泥岩相代表低能的滨外环境,发育Helminthopsis和Zoophycos等痕迹化石。  相似文献

东濮凹陷古近系沙河街组有无海相沉积久争不决。痕迹学、沉积学和古生物学综合研究,识别出那里存在海退与海进层序。海退层序在开31井3 553.30 m和3 552.70 m处分别见到压扁层理、双泥披(double clay drapes)。3 551.70 m处,出现丘状交错层理(表现为洼槽状向上弯曲平行纹理和凸起状向上弯曲平行纹理),显示前滨和临滨环境。3 551.50 m处,代表后滨环境的植物根迹出现,完成一个海退层序。另一个海退层序出现在新胡4井,从见到海相痕迹化石DiplocraterionPalaeophycosTerebellina开始(2 969.10 m;2 966.40 m)到出现植物根迹(2 931.93 m)结束。以上两个海退层序反映东濮凹陷沙四段沉积期,海水影响所及,仅限于边缘海的前滨和临滨深度范围。与海退层序不同,海进层序显示海水显著加深。文72-104井指示三角洲边缘海湾环境的痕迹化石Teichichnus(3 146 m),过渡带痕迹Rhizocoralliun(3 109.28 m)至滨外生物痕迹Zoophycos(3 050.10 m),记录到一次具有滨外环境的海进过程。开34井3 424 m至3 260 m依次出现透镜层理、植物根迹、透镜层理、羽状交错层理,解释为前滨环境。3 267~3 260 m由压扁层理(3 267.00 m)双向前积层理(3 266.81 m)为标志的前滨环境到具有Thalassinoides(3 266.25 m)、Macaronichnos痕迹化石所指示的临滨环境,再到生物扰动达70%并具颗石藻所代表的滨外浅海环境,结束一次海进过程。海进层序被固底底质控制痕迹相所指示的沉积不连续界面所限定,有利于不整合圈闭的形成。  相似文献

根据我国南北方三角洲沉积的特点,提出三角洲沉积体系的共性和特殊性。三角洲的共性包括基本相带的分布,垂直层序和海进河床充填层序;特殊性则是指三角洲砂体的组合、某些相指标,三角洲发育速度和改造程度。海进时溯源堆积在古河谷内形成了海进河床充填层序,而涨潮流和溯源堆积使该层序含某些海陆过渡相特征。南北方河流对已形成的三角洲层序改造程度有明显差异,这是由于南北方构造和气候条件不同所致。  相似文献

塔里木盆地下志留统塔塔埃尔塔格组主要由潮坪沉积组成。根据遗迹化石与沉积特征,固底控制的遗迹化石Gyrolithes常常与沉积性不连续面(海泛面)有关,潮控滨线中的准层序由三类岩相组成,其中含砾砂岩相(相A)为潮道沉积,未见遗迹化石;含交错层理细砂岩相(相B)为砂坪沉积,仅见少量的遗迹化石Skolithos;强生物扰动粉砂岩、泥岩相(相C)为砂、泥混合坪沉积,发育有丰富的遗迹化石,代表Skolithos-Cruziana混合遗迹相。  相似文献

在实地观测柴达木盆地石炭系野外露头剖面岩性和生物特征的基础上,详细研究了柴达木盆地石炭系的沉积相类型及特征,探讨了石炭纪不同阶段的沉积演化以及沉积相对烃源岩发育的控制作用。柴达木盆地石炭系主要发育陆表海,可划分为三大沉积相:滨岸相、碳酸盐岩台地相、浅海陆棚相;六个亚相:浅滩亚相、潮坪亚相、沼泽亚相、开阔台地亚相、局限台地亚相、内陆棚亚相。石炭纪沉积演化经历了早石炭世两次海侵和晚石炭世的持续海侵,沉积环境由滨海向浅海过渡,以海陆交互沉积环境为主,大面积的海进使得北部山前局部地区出现地层超覆现象。沉积相控制了烃源岩的分布:柴达木盆地东北缘石炭系的潮坪亚相、浅海陆棚亚相广泛发育泥岩、炭质泥岩及碳酸盐岩,可作为有利的生烃源岩;柴西南缘下石炭统的局限台地亚相是碳酸盐台地上局部相对闭塞的地带,由于水体相对较深,水动能较低,沉积物中有机质丰富,也是有利的生烃源岩发育区。   相似文献

传统的沉积模式认为大部分细粒沉积岩(泥岩或页岩)的沉积发生在相对深水、低能的环境中。作为地表上分布最为广泛的沉积岩类型,泥页岩包含了对重构地质历史时期古地理、古气候的重要信息。泥页岩除了可以作为有效的烃源岩,勘探开发技术的进展更发掘出泥岩作为非常规油气储层的巨大潜力。近十年来,国内外对细粒沉积物的水槽实验、泥岩沉积微相的精细分析、以及泥岩岩相组成特征的研究取得了长足的进展。这些研究对泥岩的沉积过程和沉积模式在不同角度上提供了新的认知。大部分泥岩(甚至包括众多有机质含量高的泥岩)都可能沉积在相对浅水以及水动力条件相对较高的环境中。不同的沉积过程(底部水流)形成不同的泥岩沉积微相,并对有机质在泥岩中的埋藏富集具有重要的控制作用。以晚白垩纪北美西部内陆海道为例,总结在陆棚浅海环境中(最大水深< 200 m),位于从近岸到远岸(> 500 km)不同沉积环境(包括前三角洲/下邻滨、内陆棚、中陆棚、和外陆棚环境)中的泥岩的主要沉积过程、沉积微相特征、以及富集有机质的潜力。由于沉积过程和沉积环境是决定泥岩成分、沉积相、和岩石物理特征非均质性的首要因素,不同浅海环境中的泥岩相特征和沉积模式可有助于利用泥岩地层进行古地理、古气候的重构,并能够对预测不同陆棚浅海环境中沉积的泥岩作为有效烃源岩或有效储层的潜力提供指导。  相似文献

塔河油田下石炭统巴楚组底部砂泥岩段岩性复杂,沉积相类型及分布规律不清楚。利用岩心观察、连井剖面对比、薄片分析、地震属性分析等方法,对巴楚组底部砂泥岩段沉积特征进行系统研究。结果表明:巴楚组底部砂泥岩段主要为冲积扇、潟湖、障壁型滨岸相沉积。冲积扇沉积发育于工区北部S85井附近,为北东-南西向展布的朵状体,岩性以大套细-中砾岩为主,物性差,不具储集能力;潟湖沉积分布于工区南部古鼻凸西南轴部,岩性主要为钙质泥岩、泥灰岩;障壁岛沉积位于工区南缘,沿北东东向平行于阿克库勒古鼻隆轴线分布;滨岸沉积位于工区西南部,主要发育临滨亚相,以细砂岩沉积为主。障壁沙坝和滨岸临滨砂岩的储集能力良好。  相似文献

本文分析轮南油田中奥陶统一间房组-上奥陶统吐木休克组灰岩生物多样性、沉积序列和时空展布,显示水深加大是控制地层分界上下岩相-生物相变化的主要因素。中奥陶统一间房组台地相沉积期,水体深度多在正常浪基面附近,岩性以中-高能滩相的砂屑生屑灰岩、砂屑灰岩为主并伴有小型台缘礁。从一间房组上部到上奥陶统吐木休克组,生物相-岩相有明显变化,总体表现为水体加深。吐木休克组发育深水缓斜坡型灰岩沉积,向南连接满加尔凹陷,红色灰岩岩性变化小,生屑和内碎屑含量少,灰泥含量显著增加。轮南油田中-晚奥陶世经历了一次从浅海台地演变为沉没台地的持续性海进过程,其岩相转换的时间节点基本与塔里木板块西北巴楚露头区一致,均发生在整合接触的中奥陶统一间房组-上奥陶统吐木休克组界线附近。  相似文献

Integrated sedimentologic, macrofossil, trace fossil, and palynofacies data from Paleocene-Middle Eocene outcrops document a comprehensive sequence stratigraphy in the Anambra Basin/Afikpo Syncline complex of southeastern Nigeria. Four lithofacies associations occur: (1) lithofacies association I is characterized by fluvial channel and/or tidally influenced fluvial channel sediments; (2) lithofacies association II (Glossifungites and Skolithos ichnofacies) is estuarine and/or proximal lagoonal in origin; (3) lithofacies association III (Skolithos and Cruziana ichnofacies) is from the distal lagoon to shallow shelf; and (4) shoreface and foreshore sediments (Skolithos ichnofacies) comprise lithofacies association IV. Five depositional sequences, one in the Upper Nsukka Formation (Paleocene), two in the Imo Formation (Paleocene), and one each in the Ameki Group and Ogwashi-Asaba Formation (Eocene), are identified. Each sequence is bounded by a type-1 sequence boundary, and contains a basal fluvio-marine portion representing the transgressive systems tract, which is succeeded by shoreface and foreshore deposits of the highstand systems tract. In the study area, the outcropping Ogwashi-Asaba Formation is composed of non-marine/coastal aggradational deposits representing the early transgressive systems tract. The occurrence of the estuarine cycles in the Palaeogene succession is interpreted as evidence of significant relative sea level fluctuations, and the presence of type-1 sequence boundaries may well be the stratigraphic signature of major drops in relative sea level during the Paleocene and Eocene. Sequence architecture appears to have been tectono-eustatically controlled.  相似文献

Analysis of the four cases of the sequence boundary (SB)-transgressive surface (TS) relation in nature shows that applying transgressive surfaces as sequence boundaries has the following merits: it improves the methodology of stratigraphic subdivision; the position of transgressive surface in a sea level curve is relatively fixed; the transgressive surface is a transforming surface of the stratal structure; in platforms or ramps, the transgressive surface is the only choice for determining the sequence boundary; the transgressive surface is a readily recognized physical surface reflected by seismic records in seismostratigraphy. The paper reaches a conclusion that to delineate a SB in terms of the TS is theoretically and practically better than to delineate it between highstand and lowstand sediments as has been done traditionally.  相似文献

This paper describes the sedimentation style associated with the basal Carboniferous transgression in southern Ireland and the influence which this event had on the palaeogeography of the region. The transgression as marked by the base of the Carboniferous succession is shown to represent one of several genetically related transgressive pulses which commenced during the Late Devonian. At this time an east-west trending graben, the South Munster Basin, developed in southern Ireland. This was initially a non-marine depositional site in which sediment was derived from the north and west. Subsidence and eustatic sea-level rise resulted in a marine transgression which proceeded in a rhythmic style resulting in a number of transgressive-stillstand pulses. The first transgressive pulse (T1) advanced in a westerly direction along the basin axis resulting in the development of an epicontinental-like sea. The shoreline remained essentially static along the northern basin margin initially until a second transgressive pulse (T2) resulted in expansion of the marine area. The latter proceeded by gradual northward erosive advance of a barred coastal area as far as the northern basin margin where the stability of the bounding platform halted its progress. Erosion of the barrier shoreface was insufficient to destroy all the backbarrier lagoonal deposits which are preserved as a thin transgressive diachronous unit which grades northwards to a coastal alluvial plain. Immediately preceding the basal Carboniferous transgression (T3), a shallow, wave-dominated, storm-influenced shelf sea occupied the basinal area. Two sublittoral sand bar complexes developed on the shelf under the influence of shore-parallel current regimes, apparently derived from source areas located on either side of the epicontinental sea The basal Carboniferous transgression took place in two pulses. The first (T3a) resulted in a rapid reduction in sand supply to the shelf and deposition of clay. The barrier shoreline responded by erosively retreating across the lagoon, leaving a transgressive lag in its wake. Its northwards advance was, however, limited due to the relative stability of the northern platform. Sand supply to the shelf was completely terminated in the second pulse (T3b) and the barrier rapidly migrated erosively across the northern platform for a considerable distance such that the coastal plain is overlain by a thin transgressive lag. This transgressive phase was immediately followed by shoreline stillstand and progressive shallowing of the shelf. An open sandy shelf developed on which offshore sand bars accumulated under a storm and wave dominated regime. Clay deposition continued in the deeper part of the basinal area but was eventually terminated as the shelf sands prograded centripetally into the basin. The main factor that controlled the style of the overall transgression was an interplay between eustatic sea level rise and basin subsidence. The rate of relative sea-level rise together with the effect of differential subsidence and fluvial input from the north appear to have diminished with time. The rate at which successive transgressive pulses advanced northwards shows an overall progressive increase.  相似文献

Late Eocene time in the Bremer and western Eucla Basins of southern Western Australia was a period of terrigenous clastic and abundant, unusual, biosiliceous sponge sedimentation. The Pallinup Formation (revised) consists of five units; 1 and 2 are basal sandstones, 3 and 4 are variably spiculitic mudstones, whilst the uppermost unit is spiculite and spongolite, and formalised as the Fitzgerald Member (new). The Pallinup Formation, plus coeval spiculites in palaeovalleys and carbonates in the western Eucla Basin, accumulated during one large‐scale, transgressive‐regressive relative sea‐level cycle. Drowned, low‐gradient rivers supplied mud but little sand. Instead, sand was locally sourced via transgressive shoreface erosion of deeply weathered regolith. Regression terminated shoreface erosion, eliminated the sand source, and resulted in a river‐supplied, clay‐dominated shallow‐marine depositional system. The unit 2–3 sandstone‐mudstone transition, which would normally be interpreted as transgressive drowning, is in this case the result of regressive cessation of sand supply. The peak relative sea‐level (highstand) horizon thus lies within unit 2 sandstones, a facies that would usually be considered wholly transgressive, and no highstand systems tract was deposited. The maximum flooding and downlap surfaces are the same horizon and cap the transgressive systems tract. They formed coincidentally or subsequent to peak relative sea‐level, but prior to initiation of unit 3 mudstone deposition. Upper unit 2 plus unit 3 represent a condensed section systems tract, and unit 4 plus the Fitzgerald Member comprise a regressive systems tract.  相似文献

Abstract: The Lower Cambrian Nagaur Sandstone (Marwar Supergroup) has yielded trace fossils Treptichnus, Cruziana, serially repeated Rusophycus, Diplichnites, Monomorphichnus, Bergaueria, arthropod swimming traces and leap frogging marks of Cruziana ichnofacies. This ichnofossils assemblage is dominantly preserved in fine to medium grained red sandstone beds of the Mohra Member (Nagaur Sandstone). The presence of graded rip-up clasts, current ripples, dune cross-stratification with mud drapes and tidal bundles indicates a subtidal paleoenvironment for the deposition of Nagaur Sandstone Formation, which is corroborated by the Cruziana ichnofacies trace fossil assemblage.  相似文献

Cauvery Basin, a pericratonic rift basin along the Eastern Continental Margin of India, evolved during the breakup of the Eastern Gondwanaland. It exposes both syn-rift and later post-rift passive margin deposits ranging from Barremian to Miocene. The Karai Formation, upper Aptian-lower/middle (?) Turonian represents the oldest passive margin in the Cauvery Basin. It is bounded at both contacts by major sequence boundaries viz. the break-up unconformity and the Turonian tilt event. The present communication deals with the ichnology of the Karai Formation and its integration with sedimentary facies and biostratigraphy to interpret the sea level changes during deposition. A traverse between the villages Karai and Kulakkalnattam was studied in detail for this purpose. Based on the lithological position, characters and internal grain size trends, the Karai Formation is sub-divided into four informal lithologic units; the lower three units, constitute a lithostratigraphic unit known in literature as the Gypsiferous Clay Member, while the uppermost, corresponds to the Sandy Clay Member. At the base, clays of the Karai Formation unconformably onlap onto the Precambrian basement or the fluvial syn-rift deposits across the break-up unconformity. Upper Aptian to middle Cenomanian, units I and II showing the distal Cruziana ichnofacies, deepening of the basin and a retrogradational stacking pattern represent a transgressive system tract (TST). This long phase of transgression is attributed to continuous accommodation created by the post-breakup thermal subsidence. The upper part of unit II (middle Cenomanian) shows condensation, with its top representing the maximum flooding surface (MFS). Upper Cenomanian to lower/middle (?) Turonian, units III and IV characterised by a shift from the distal Cruziana to the Skolithos ichnofacies, an initial aggradational and later deltaic, progradational stacking pattern resulting from a fall in the relative sea level and filling up of accommodation space represent the highstand system tract (HST). A further fall in the relative sea level led to the exposure, incision and erosion of the Karai Formation over which the younger transgressive sequence of the Trichinopoly Group was deposited with an angular unconformity.  相似文献
