文中将海洋分为具有密度阶跃的两层,设各层内各物理量与深度无关,用推广的ADI方法进行包括潮流和风海流的二层流场计算,待流场计算稳定后,与温度扩散方程和上均匀层深度预报方程相耦合,对黄渤海区表、底层温度和上均匀层深度作了为期4d的试报。然后,通过温度垂直剖面自模函数预报出三维的水温场。试报结果表明,整个模式的预报性能及试报结果与实测的吻合程度是令人满意的。  相似文献

文章利用果蝇优化广义回归神经网络算法FOAGRNN (fruit fly optimization algorithm, FOA; generalized regression neural network, GRNN)对SODA (simple ocean data assimilation)再分析数据进行训练, 构建海表温度、盐度、海面高度与次表层温盐场之间的投影关系模型, 并在全球范围使用SODA和卫星遥感数据评估了模型的应用性能。首先, 利用独立的2016年SODA海表数据作为模型输入进行理想重构试验, 结果显示全球重构温、盐平均均方根误差(MRMSE)分别为0.36℃和0.08‰, 与世界海洋图集WOA13资料相比减小约50%和60%。然后, 利用卫星观测的海表信息作为模型输入进行实际应用试验, 并与Argo观测剖面进行比较评估。试验结果表明, 重构模型能有效表征海水温、盐特征, 其中重构温、盐MRMSE分别为0.79℃和0.16‰, 相比WOA气候态减小27%和11%。误差的垂向分布显示, 重构温度RMSE从海表向下迅速增大, 至100m达到峰值1.35℃, 而后又迅速回落,至250m处为0.81℃, 跃层往下不断减小; 重构盐度RMSE基本随深度增大而减小, 误差峰值位于25m附近, 约为0.25‰。此外, Argo浮标跟踪分析和区域水团统计结果也表明模型能够较好地刻画海洋三维温盐场的内部结构特征。  相似文献

利用1992年5月在南黄海获得的CTD资料对该海域春季温、盐结构特征进行了分析,结果表明:(1)春季,南黄海温、盐结构处于由冬季型向夏季型的过渡期,此时,整个研究海域大体上可以20m层为界分为上、下两层。上表层的温、盐结构已基本呈现夏季型特征,但深底层还具有冬季型的某些特征。(2)南黄海春季温、盐结构特征与水团配置具有较密切的关系,亦即不同的温、盐结构对应着不同的水团,反之,同一个水团具有相近的温  相似文献

基于政府间气候变化专门委员会(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,IPCC)4种最新辐射强迫情景,利用ECHAM5/MPI-OM(European Centre Hamburg Model 5/Max Planck Institute Ocean Model)气候模式输出的1850—2300年逐月混合层深度、海表面温度、海表面盐度数据,分析大西洋热盐环流下沉区混合层深度的变化情况。结果表明:随辐射强迫增加,热盐环流下沉区混合层深度下降,混合层深度振荡周期在格陵兰-冰岛-挪威海(Greenland Sea–Iceland Sea–Norwegian Sea,GIN)海域减小,在拉布拉多海(Labrador Sea,LAB)海域变化不大;与GIN海域相比,LAB海域混合层深度对辐射强迫变化更敏感;两海区温度对混合层深度的影响时间较长,混合层深度对盐度的变化反应迅速;混合层深度变化的主导因素在LAB海域中为盐度,而在GIN海域,低辐射强迫下温度主导混合层深度变化,中高辐射强迫下温度与盐度共同起主导作用。  相似文献

随着海洋自动观测系统的推广应用,温盐井也在海洋系统普及开来,对温盐井性能的研究,即所测得的水文数据的有效性进行研究有现实意义。对连云港海洋环境监测站温盐井内外表层海水温度的数据运用传统的统计对比分析,指出该温盐井测得的数据中有96.2%的水温数据符合海滨观测规范规定的三级标准是有效的。从而表明温盐井满足了测量表层海上温度的技术要求。  相似文献

文中,以水温垂直剖面的自模性将其由T-Z分布变为θ-η剖面为基础,在考虑海面加热,忽略热平流效应和来自海底的热通量情况下,将海洋分为4层,并在各层内利用其自模函数的积分趋于常量的特性,对引入自模函数的热传导方程进行推导运算,导出描述含中层冷水垂直热结构7个特征量的闭合方程组.当解得这些特征量之后,代入含有自模函数的温度表达式,即获得预报的整个水温剖面.为了检验模式的功能,我们利用东海西北部海域中27个测站,以5月5日和5月10日实测的特征量作为初值,分别试报了5月10日和5月15日的特征量及水温剖面.试报的结果表明:试报特征值和温度剖面与其实测值之间的平均绝对误差,特征温度小于或等于0.23℃,特征深度小于或等于1.18m,而水温剖面小于或等于0.20℃.由此可见,试报的效果是令人满意的.  相似文献

We discuss the results of the numerical experiment aimed at the simulation of the behavior of currents and transformations of the temperature and salt modes in the Sevastopol Bay in January–February 1997. In the numerical analysis, we use actual data on the velocity and direction of the wind, sea surface temperature, and the discharge of River Chernaya. It is shown that the circulation and structure of hydrological fields are mainly connected with the direction of the wind, its intensity, and variability in the course of time. Since the analyzed water area is shallow, the currents inside the bay undergo rapid transformations (less than for an hour after changes in the wind). At the same time, the transformations of the thermohaline fields are slower. Due to the inflow of fresh waters of River Chernaya and salt waters from the open sea through the strait, the structure of thermohaline fields formed in the bay is nonuniform (both in the vertical and horizontal directions). The distribution of salinity plays the main role in the formation of the vertical stratification, which is natural for the winter season. Due to the process of freshening of water, a quite high vertical salinity gradient is formed in the upper layer of the sea. The process of the geostrophic adjustment in the stably stratified two-component medium is studied in the framework of a linear approximation. We demonstrate that, at the final stage of that process, a stationary trace is generated by the distribution of the temperature and salinity, whose horizontal inhomogeneities mutually compensate in the field of the density. The compensation level for the stationary thermohaline distributions forming during the geostrophic adjustment is estimated. The origination mechanism of compensated thermohaline inhomogeneities in hydrodynamically stable shear flows is examined. We show that, in such flows, the disturbances of the fields of buoyancy (density), pressure, and velocity damp with time, whereas the compensated disturbances of the fields of the temperature and salinity are carried off by the flow without damping. Based on the explicit solutions of the dynamic equations, it is shown that the evolution of the compensated distribution of the temperature and salinity in the shear flows usually results in the sharpening of the spatial gradients. This feature may be, among others, related to one of the factors of the origination of the fine structure of the ocean: the small-scale thermohaline inhomogeneities, which exist against the background of the smooth vertical distribution of the density.  相似文献

基于1994-2015年海面高度异常数据,采用winding-angle中尺度涡旋探测算法识别出南海范围内共5 899个反气旋涡(AE)和3 792个气旋涡(CE),结合世界海洋数据集(WOD13)及中国科学院南海海洋研究所(SCSIO)温盐观测数据集,采用基于变分法的客观插值方法,合成了南海及南海各区域中尺度涡的温盐异常三维结构。结果表明,本文采取的插值方式能有效地获得涡旋三维结构,垂向尺度上也与前人研究结果较为一致。在平均状态下,南海AE温盐异常强度明显大于CE,AE正位温异常主体结构深度约440 m,而CE仅在320 m以浅维持涡旋结构;两者最大位温异常均出现在次表层约80 m上下,AE达2.02℃,CE达-1.60℃。盐度异常影响深度约150 m,最大盐度异常出现在50 m深附近,AE达-0.24,CE达0.28,同时由于涡旋在不单调变化的背景盐度场中引起海水下沉(上升),AE盐度异常结构呈"上负下正"而CE呈"上正下负"式结构。南海各区域合成涡旋的温、盐异常的影响程度并不完全相同,可能与各区域涡旋的生成机制及背景温盐场有关。  相似文献

An empirical orthogonal function analysis has been applied to solving the forecast problem of the monthly mean sea surface temperature for the East China Sea and the adjacent waters. The data matrix of the original sea surface temperature fields can be separated into two components, /'. e. the spatial and the temporal components. According to the properties of its spatial component that almost does not change with time and through the extrapolation of its temporal component, the prediction for large area sea surface temperature will be achieved. The time coefficients for temporal component are predicted by means of traverse and vertical time series method.On the basis of forecasting for these two years, it has been proved that the method objectively reflected the internal relations and interactions of sea surface temperature among the stations of water area. 将在黄海和东海区建立的有限区域异常海温动力数值预报模式应用于福建近海区海温预报,根据福建近海海区特征对模式作了必要的调整.举出两个试验个例,一个在夏季(3d预报),另一个在冬季(10d预报).在夏季的试验中,恰值台风过境,所计算的流场对台风有较好的响应.冬季,预报海温场与实际海温场的变化趋势基本一致,整个海区的绝对平均误差为0.6℃.海温的变化主要决定于夹卷与抽吸作用,这与海峡的地形特征有关.  相似文献

本文中我们比较了Climate Forecast System Reanalysis(CFSR)高分辨率的再分析数据集和低分辨率的Japanese 25-year Reanalysis Project(JRA25)再分析数据集在向下短波辐射、向下长波辐射、10m风场、近地面气温、降水、湿度上的不同,发现二者差异最大的为降水数据,其次为向下短波辐射数据、向下长波辐射数据。用这两个数据集驱动同一冰海耦合模式,CFSR强迫的海冰、北冰洋中层水和加拿大海盆温盐结构与实测相比有很大差距,等密度面上的地转流速在加拿大海盆和欧亚海盆比JRA25强迫的结果高20%,同时等密度面的深度偏深、位温偏高,在弗拉姆海峡的流通量也比海洋再分析数据Simple Ocean Data Assimilation(SODA)偏多。CFSR的向下辐射数据更加接近实测,采用此数据的敏感性实验模拟结果与实测符合的更好。对于海冰的模拟,云量起着至关重要的作用,降水带来的淡水通量通过影响大西洋入流水携带的热量进而影响到冰区。此外,CFSR过量的降水也是二者对于北冰洋温盐结构、弗拉姆海峡流通量以及地转流强度模拟产生偏差的主要原因。尽管风场的分辨率不同,在海盆尺度上对于海冰和海水温盐结构的影响并不大。  相似文献

Abstract. In the framework of the Interreg II Project (July 1998 - June 2001), hydro-logical, chemical and biological data were collected in the Gulf of Trieste.
During spring and summer 2000, some particular thermohaline anomalies were observed in the Gulf of Trieste. Especially in May and June the water body showed: a very strong thermohaline stratification, an increase of advective salt water coming from the south and the presence of sharp pycnoclines. In July the temperature was higher than usual in the whole water column. Moreover, in late May and in June, massive mucilaginous aggregates were observed along the water column and at the surface.
In order to highlight these particular thermohaline features the hydrological data of 16 stations were analysed (Fig. 1). Two stations, in particular, were considered: one offshore (St. AA1, average depth 20 m) and one close to the coast (St. C1, average depth 17 m). For these two stations a best-fit analysis, computed over 11 and 7 years, respectively, was performed on temperature, salinity and density excess data.
Moreover, the hydrological features were compared with the rainfall, air temperature, wind speed data (Istituto Sperimentale Talassografico di Trieste - ISTT) and the Isonzo River's flow rate (Direzione Regionale dell'Ambiente - Regione F. V. G.) collected from January 1998 to December 2000.  相似文献

自黑潮脱落并由吕宋海峡进入中国南海的中尺度涡(简称脱落涡旋)对黑潮与南海的水体交换、热量及物质输送等过程均有十分重要的作用。基于1993—2013年OFES(OGCM for the Earth Simulator)模式数据产品,分析研究了脱落涡旋的统计特征及其温盐流三维结构,并与卫星观测结果进行对比分析。OFES模式的海表面高度数据和卫星高度计数据的统计结果都表明气旋式脱落涡旋(脱落冷涡)绝大部分在黑潮西侧边缘生成,反气旋式脱落涡旋(脱落暖涡)则大部分在黑潮控制区(包括黑潮流套区)生成,脱落暖涡的数量远多于脱落冷涡的。OFES模式数据得到的脱落涡旋个数和出现频率较卫星观测结果要明显偏低。此外,由OFES模式数据得到的脱落涡旋三维结构表明,黑潮控制区和黑潮西侧边缘生成的脱落冷涡的流场垂向影响深度差异较大,而脱落暖涡的流场垂向影响深度一般达水深1000 m以深,脱落涡旋的位势温度的垂向影响深度与该涡的流场垂向影响深度相当,其盐度的垂向影响深度则较浅;脱落涡旋的温盐结构受黑潮的影响较大。  相似文献

Making use of a simple two‐layer model, we analyze the impact of freshwater forcing on the thermohaline circulation. We consider the forward‐type circulation dominated by thermal forcing, implying that the freshwater forcing acts to reduce the density contrast associated with the equator‐to‐pole temperature contrast (prescribed in the model). The system is described by two variables: the depth of the upper layer ( H ) and the density contrast between the upper and lower layer (Δρ), which decreases with salinity contrast. The rate of poleward flow of light surface water and the diapycnal flow (i.e., upwelling) driven by widespread small‐scale mixing are both modeled in terms of H and Δρ. Steady states of thermohaline circulation are found when these two flows are equal. The representation of the diapycnal flow ( MD ) is instrumental for the dynamics of the system. We present equally plausible examples of a physically based representation of MD for which the thermohaline circulation either decreases or increases with density contrast. In the latter case, contrary to the traditional wisdom, the freshwater forcing amplifies the circulation and there exists a thermally dominated equilibrium for arbitrary intensity of freshwater forcing. Here, Stommel's famous feedback between circulation and salinity contrast is changed from a positive to a negative feedback. The interaction of such a freshwater boosted thermohaline circulation with the climate system is fundamentally different from what is commonly assumed, an issue which is briefly addressed.  相似文献

Results from the application of the two‐dimensional, laterally‐averaged hydrodynamic model, CE‐QUAL‐W2 to Akaroa Harbour, New Zealand were compared with 3 months of temperature and current data to investigate the connection between significant wind‐driven circulation and vertical mixing. Results indicate that in general, CE‐QUAL‐W2 reproduced realistic values for width‐averaged along‐Harbour current speeds and water column temperature structure. However, during periods of strong winds, the mixed layer depth was predicted to be shallower than observed; c. one‐third as compared to c. one‐half. Simulations of tidally‐driven flow highlighted the restrictions of the two‐dimensionality imposed by the model, though this type of flow was not found to result in appreciable mixing of the water column. Data from an independent field survey supported the validity of the use of CE‐QUAL‐W2 under (at least) light‐to‐moderate sea‐breeze conditions.  相似文献
