In respect of an offshore berthing pillar, the test study result of current force acting on mooring ships is described in this paper. Empirical and semi-empirical relationships of current force coefficient are given according to the angle between the flow direction and the ship's longitudinal axis, which are coincident with the result of theoretical analysis.  相似文献

An analytical method is developed to study wave diffraction on arc-shaped and bottom-mounted perforated breakwaters.The breakwater is assumed to be rigid,thin,vertical,immovable and located in water of constant depth.The fluid domain is divided into two regions by imaginary interface.The velocity potential in each region is expanded by eigenfunctions.By satisfying the continuity of pressure and normal velocity across the imaginary fluid interface,a set of linear algebraic equations can be obtained to determine the unknown coefficients of eigenfunctions.Numerical results,in the form of contour maps of the relative wave amplitude around the breakwater,are presented for a range of wave and breakwater parameters.Results show that the wave diffraction on the arc-shaped and bottom-mounted perforated breakwater is related to the incident wavelength and the porosity of the breakwater.The porosity of the perforated breakwater may have great effect on the diffracted field.  相似文献

Abstract

Metal minerals in deep sea are considered to be the most important mineral resources in the 21st century. With the development of science and technology, deep-sea mining has gained more and more attention, and the pipeline lifting method is the most promising for mining. It is particularly important to use the pump as a key component in the pipeline upgrading. In this paper, the DEM–CFD method is used to study the solid–liquid two-phase fluid flow in the Deep-Sea lifting motor pump. Data about the distribution of pressure on the suction surface and pressure surface as well as the distribution of particles in the pump under different rotation speed can be obtained. Tests verify the efficiency and head of the pump by numerical simulation. It provides a theoretical method for the study of solid–liquid two-phase fluid flow in deep-sea mining.  相似文献

From May to July, 1985, foulers on eleven navigation buoys have been surveyed in Shuidongand Bohe Harbours of Dianbai, Guangdong. Foulers on different parts of buoys (side, bottom and in-side tail tube) were sampled. The thickness and cover area of foulers were measured in the field andall the foulers on an area of 30×30 cm~2 were taken back for lab. identification. For the calculation of wave-current force on horizontal cylinder a modified Morison's equation is used. A redefined Keulegan- Carpenter number KC2 is determined for the horizontal cylinder in wave-current co-existing field. The force coefficients are well related to the redefined KC2 number. As to the comparison with the force on vertical cylinder, the characteristics of force on horizontal cylinder are quite similar to those on vertical cylinder, but the force coefficients for horizontal cylinder are larger than those for vertical cylinder. It is proved by the authors' calculation that the results of monochromatic wave can be used directly for the determination of irregular wave-current force on horizontal cylinder in time domain.  相似文献

The paper contains the results of an experimental study on a planing catamaran. The aim of this study is resistance reduction with application of foils. Experiments are performed in different conditions and the results are compared with each other. The foils are used in different configurations and it is concluded that unsuitable design may result in larger resistance. The influence of diffuser parameters, including the riser spacing, port number in a riser, injection angle, port arrangement, etc., on the surface initial dilution is experimentally investigated. The relative density difference between the effluent and the sea water in the model is the same as that in the prototype, and the effect of the cross current is simulated by an inverse model technique. Based on the result analysis, the arrangement with more ports in a riser and larger riser spacing is suggested to save construction cost. The relationship between the Reynolds number based on the port diameter and velocity, and the surface initial dilution is also explored, and the critical Reynolds number is proposed.  相似文献

Natural beaches tend to be concave-up rather than planar and are reasonable to be modeled by an equilibrium beach profile. A governing equation for longshore current on an equilibrium beach is derived and its analytical solution is given in this paper. Through comparisons of the present solution and field data of longshore current for a step-type beach, the present solution is found to have fairly agreeable prediction to longshore current inside the surf zone. The effects of the shape of a concave-up beach and turbulent mixing stress on longshore current inside the surf zone are discussed in the present paper.  相似文献

The effects of a PSP producing dinoflagellate Alexandrium tamarense on marine bivalvesat their several important life stages: egg, D- shape larva, eyespot larva, juvenile and adult, were studied. The results show that the hatching, survival, activity, filtration and growth were adversely affected by the alga and the impact was significantly increased with the increase of algal density. The inhibitory effect on egg hatching was most significant, which the hatching rate was only 30% of the control when exposed to the alga at 100 cell/cm3 after 36 h. Further experiments show that the algal culture, re-suspended cells and cell fragments had the inhibitory effect, while no such effect was from the cell-free medium, cell contents and standard STX. The results indicate that the alga could produce unknown toxins, rather than PSP, associated with the cell surface.  相似文献

- in this paper, a new approach to relativistic information entropy is used to assess some relative uncertainties in structural reliability assessment. This approach is composed of the information theory and the relativistic theory, and can be used to measure the relativity of parameter uncertainty and system uncertainty in structural reliability theory based on the same generalized relativistic reference system.
