通过对中国沙区植物标本整理、鉴定和文献考证，新增加了八宝属、合景天属、红景天属、瓦莲属、黄花瓦松、狼爪瓦松、库布齐八宝、白八宝、白花合景天、合景天、小花瓦莲、卵叶瓦莲、灰毛景天、堪察加景天和唐古红景天等４属、１０种、１变种，并对紫八宝和狭叶费英的名称做了订正。
