沉积有机相是具有相似沉积环境、生物组合、成岩环境、氧化-还原条件以及相近有机质特征的地层单元,其分布受沉积盆地中层序地层格架所控制。因此,层序沉积有机相分析可成为确定和预测烃源岩分布的一种有效工具。本文采用层序地层分析与沉积有机相分析相结合的方法,将陕甘宁盆地下奥陶统马家沟组划分为三个层序,并探讨了每个层序中沉积有机相的分布特征。研究表明,沉积有机相在层序地层格架中的分布呈显出一定的规律性,在盆地西部及南部的较深水层序中,沉积有利相类型主要为开阔台地C相,在垂向上变化不大,有机碳含量为 0.0 8%~ 0.1 8%。在盆地中部浅水层序中,海侵体系域的沉积有机相类型主要为开阔台地C相及局限台地D相,有机碳含量为 0.1 2 %~ 0.2 5 %,而高位体系域的沉积有机相类型主要为局限台地D相和蒸发台地E相,有机碳含量为 0.1 7%~ 0.49%,反映出盆地中部浅水层序中的高位体系域是烃源岩分布的最有利地带。  相似文献

The stratigraphic distribution of sedimentary organic matter in Anisian carbonate series of southern Poland is studied with respect to relative sea-level fluctuations. Palynofacies patterns clearly reflect transgressive–regressive trends that are interpreted in terms of third-order cyclicity. Major flooding phases are detected by maximum abundance of marine plankton in the upper Bithynian and Pelsonian. Transgressive and highstand deposits are recognized by changes in the terrestrial input of organic particles and the relative percentages and diversity of the plankton group. The palynological data support the sequence stratigraphic interpretation based on sedimentological features and geochemical signatures. The corresponding eustatic signals of sedimentary and organic facies are discussed. The study highlights the potential of palynofacies analysis for sequence stratigraphical interpretation.  相似文献

桑植地区发育了牛蹄塘组海相黑色页岩,前人对该区古生界下寒武统页岩气成藏条件研究相对较少。在文献调研的基础上,结合野外实地勘查和试验分析,对桑植下寒武统牛蹄塘组页岩储层地质要素和成藏条件进行研究,以期为该区页岩气下一步勘探开发提供借鉴与参考。结果表明: 沉积环境方面,桑植牛蹄塘组页岩沉积相类型为陆棚相和斜坡相,埋深条件好,厚度大; 有机地化特征方面,有机质丰度在2%以上,干酪根类型主要为Ⅱ1型,少见Ⅰ型,有机质成熟度3.5%,为较好烃源岩; 有机质演化与黏土矿物成岩阶段有较好的对应关系,其成岩矿物转化阶段与有机质生油、生气门限基本一致,源岩处于大量生成干气和裂解气阶段; 储集条件方面,孔隙度为9%,发育了原生孔、次生孔、矿物质孔及天然裂缝、构造裂缝,为页岩气富集提供了空间; 脆性矿物含量高,易造缝造储。整体而言,牛蹄塘组页岩为优质页岩,页岩气的成藏条件为较好—好,其勘探、开发潜力较大。  相似文献

In the late Carnian (Late Triassic), a carbonate‐clastic depositional system including a distal alluvial plain, flood basin and sabkha, tidal flat and shallow carbonate lagoon was established in the Dolomites (Northern Italy). The flood basin was a muddy supratidal environment where marine carbonates and continental siliciclastics interfingered. A dolomite phase made of sub‐micrometre euhedral crystals with a mosaic microstructure of nanometre‐scale domains was identified in stromatolitic laminae of the flood basin embedded in clay. This dolomite is interpreted here as primary and has a nearly stoichiometric composition, as opposed to younger early diagenetic (not primary) dolomite phases, which are commonly calcian. This primary dolomite was shielded from later diagenetic transformation by the clay. The stable isotopic composition of dolomite was analyzed along a depositional transect. The δ13C values range between ca ?6‰ and +4‰, with the most 13C‐depleted values in dolomites of the distal alluvial plain and flood basin, and the most 13C‐enriched in dolomites of the tidal flat and lagoon. Uniform δ18O values ranging between 0‰ and +3‰ were found in all sedimentary facies. It is hypothesized that the primary dolomite with mosaic microstructure nucleated on extracellular polymeric substances secreted by sulphate reducing bacteria. A multi‐step process involving sabkha and reflux dolomitization led to partial replacement and overgrowth of the primary dolomite, but replacement and overgrowth were facies‐dependent. Dolomites of the landward, clay‐rich portion of the sedimentary system were only moderately overgrown during late dolomitization steps, and partly retain an isotopic signature consistent with bacterial sulphate reduction with δ13C as low as ?6‰. In contrast, dolomites of the marine, clay‐free part of the system were probably transformed through sabkha and reflux diagenetic processes into calcian varieties, and exhibit δ13C values of ca +3‰. Major shifts of δ13C values strictly follow the lateral migration of facies and thus mark transgressions and regressions.  相似文献

Abstract

The sedimentary facies of the Huagang Formation, the major petroleum exploration horizon in the Xihu Depression in the East China Sea Basin, have not been well constrained, owing to limited drilling and core recovery. Interpretations are vague and vary from beach bar, braided river and braided-river delta front sediments. In this paper, the paleosedimentary environments of the Huagang Formation are discussed based on detailed organic and inorganic geochemical analysis and proxies used to interpret the sedimentary facies. Kerogen, dominated by sapropelinite, is mainly of Type I and Type II, and n-Paraffins are dominated by short-chain and medium-chain, with no obvious odd-over-even advantages. The distribution of isoprenoid alkanes and steroids indicates that the organic matter in mudstones is mainly of lacustrine and mixed origins. Elemental ratios of Th/U (4–6), V/Cr (1–4), Ni/Co (3–11) and V/(V?+?Ni) (0.5–0.75) indicate that in the area studied, the Huagang Formation was deposited under anoxic to reduced conditions with some oxygen-enriched horizons. Both inorganic and organic geochemical signatures show that the Huagang Formation was mainly deposited in an aquatic environment but with some minor periods of subaerial exposure. The sequence of the Huagang Formation is characterised by interbedded grey-white thick sandstones and grey-black thin mudstones. Normally graded cycles are widely developed, with rare mudstone in the upper part and scoured surfaces at the base. The cumulative grainsize distribution curve is mainly a two-stage type. The sedimentary facies indicative markers are dominated by braided-river channel deposits and combined with the paleosedimentary environments it is inferred that the sedimentary system in the study area was typical of a braided-river delta front. The cores available were intensively analysed using a hand-held X-ray fluorescence spectrometer to probe the variations in the paleoclimate and show that the braided-river channels were controlled by paleoclimate. During arid climatic settings, the sediments within individual channels were thin, and grainsizes varied significantly; at the base of each channel, basal conglomerates were common. In contrast, under humid climatic settings, thin multi-stage channels were superimposed, and the bottom often developed erosion surface.

In general, aragonite exists as a metastable carbonate mineral under near-surface conditions, and is commonly transformed into calcite under the subsurface and during diagenesis. It is thus seldom found in sedimentary rocks, but aragonite is common in the Paleogene lacustrine shales in the Jiyang Depression in eastern China. Dissolution experiments were conducted on the Paleogene aragonite-enriched and calcite-enriched shales at different temperatures, pressures and acetic acid concentrations, and in different types of solution. The results show that aragonite is insoluble in the in situ formation water but dissolved more readily under acetic acid conditions than calcite with the degree of dissolution increasing with increasing temperature, pressure and acetic acid concentrations. During the shallow burial diagenesis of the Paleogene sediment sequence in the Jiyang Depression, aragonite was relatively stable and was not dissolved by the connate pore water in the shales. Increasing burial (temperature) and maturity of the organic matter produced large amounts of organic acids that accelerated the dissolution of aragonite. In the late stage, as the organic matter became over-matured, the pore water changed from acidic to alkaline, and calcite precipitated from the carbonate-rich solution. Therefore, the conditions provided by organic acids enabled the conversion of aragonite to calcite during sedimentary diagenesis in the Paleogene lacustrine shales in the Jiyang Depression. This transformation corresponded to the thermal evolution of the organic matter within the shale sequence.  相似文献

In the Tarim Basin, dolomite, which formed during the middle Cambrian associated with evaporites, has been attributed to the sabkha-style dolomite formed during the syndepositional period. The sedimentary microfacies suggests dolomite formation in the middle Cambrian is an ancient analogue of the sabkha of Abu Dhabi. Poorly crystallised dolomite spheroids or ovoids within or on the surface of dolomite crystals are a common phenomenon that can be widely observed in different stromatolites in the upper part of the intertidal zone and strongly resemble the morphology in modern sabkha dolomite-producing microbial mats and in microbial culture experiments. These lines of evidence suggest organic substrates for dolomite nucleation. Dolomite formation in the middle Cambrian in the Tarim Basin has been considered a classic analogue for carbonate and evaporate assemblages. The extent of microbial dolomite in ancient sabkha environments is proposed as an alternative model for dolomite formation, in which the mineral properties of organic substrates play a crucial role.  相似文献

为揭示准噶尔盆地东缘中侏罗统头屯河组(J2t)层序地层特征及其沉积充填规律,结合露头、岩心及测井资料并运用高分辨率层序地层理论,对研究区头屯河组层序地层进行划分对比,对其沉积相展布特征和沉积环境演化规律进行研究。结果表明:头屯河组可划分出个1个Ⅲ级旋回、3个Ⅳ级旋回及9个Ⅴ级旋回,沉积物岩性以砂砾岩和泥岩为主,沉积环境主要为辫状河、辫状河三角洲和滨浅湖,发育向上"变深"对称型和非对称型的两种结构类型。头屯河组沉积时期湖泊较浅,沉积基底平缓,湖泊边缘坡度小,在头屯河组下段(J2t1)时期到头屯河组上段(J2t2)段时期经历了湖侵演变过程。结合研究区的层序地层和沉积相展布特征,认为研究区中侏罗统头屯河组具有辫状河、辫状河三角洲及湖泊3种沉积环境相结合的沉积演化模式。  相似文献

为查明沉积相带对川南龙马溪组页岩气富集的影响,结合地层分布、岩性特征、沉积构造、有机碳含量、矿物组成、储集空间类型等特征,对龙马溪组页岩沉积相类型进行划分,并探讨沉积相带对有效页岩发育的影响,以期为页岩气富集条件评价提供依据。通过研究区6口页岩气井的钻井岩心观察,结合测井响应、实验测试分析,将龙马溪组划分为浅水泥质陆棚亚相、半深水陆棚亚相和深水陆棚亚相3种沉积亚相类型。有机碳含量、有效页岩的发育和分布、矿物组成以及孔隙发育特征是影响页岩气富集的关键因素,而这些因素均受控于沉积相带:沉积水体越深TOC含量越高,距离沉积中心越近TOC含量越高;龙马溪组地层厚度较大,但有效页岩厚度并不大,深水陆棚亚相沉积层段为页岩气富集的有效层段,且有效页岩层向沉积中心方向逐渐增厚;深水陆棚亚相丰富的生物供应为有效页岩带来了更高的有机质含量以及更多的脆性矿物,提高了岩石脆性;龙马溪组页岩中的孔隙类型主要为黏土矿物层间孔与有机质孔,且TOC含量高的沉积相带中有机质孔越发育。综上,深水陆棚亚相页岩具备有机质含量丰富、岩石脆性高、有机质孔发育等特征,是页岩气富集的最有利相带。  相似文献

The well-developed continental shale sequences in the Western Sichuan Depression are characterised by extremely low porosity and permeability, complex lithologies and strong lateral facies changes. The overall lack of proper characterisation of the shale properties has restricted gas exploration and development in the region. In this study, shales from the fifth member of the Xujiahe Formation of the Upper Triassic (T3x5) are comprehensively characterised in terms of their organic geochemistry, mineral composition, microscopic pore structure and gas content. In addition, the influence of various geological factors on the adsorbed gas content is investigated. We proposed a new model for predicting the adsorption gas content of continental shale. The T3x5 shale sequence is found to be rich in organic matter but with variable mineral compositions, pore types and reservoir physical properties. The porosity and permeability of shales are better than those of siltstones and fine sandstones interbedded with the shale under an overall densification background. Mesopores (2–50 nm) are common in the shale sequence, followed by micropores and then macropores. The gas-adsorption capacity of organic-rich shales increases with increasing TOC and clay-mineral contents, maturity and pressure, but decreases with increasing quartz content, carbonate minerals and temperature. The gas-adsorption capacity can thus be expressed as a function of organic matter, clay-mineral content, temperature and pressure. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experiment results and indicate that adsorption gas in the studied shales accounts for 78.9% of the total gas content.  相似文献

Based on gas chromatography and gas chromatography mass spectrometry techniques, the authors examined biomarker characteristics of the Ganquan Formation source rocks in the area of Dahulishan, Ejina, and analyzed the information and petroleum geological significance that were indicated by the source of organic matter, sedimentary environment and maturity and so on. Gas chromatography peak of saturated hydrocarbons from the Ganquan Formation source rocks showed "the former peak" of the single peak distribution, the main peak of carbon being C18 , indicating the main sources of organic matter with marine organic matter. Pr/Ph ranges from 0.3 to 0.6, indicating a strongly reducing sedimentary environment. Biomarker assemblages of the Ganquan Formation source rocks are abundant in tricyclic terpane with long side chains, with a high level of gammacerane, showing dominant distribution of C27 sterane. High contents of gammacerane in organic matter show organic facies of source rocks in the saltwater sedimentary environment. That average hopane/sterane ratio is 0.59, showing that algae have made more contributions to organic matter than bacteria. And the high level of C27 steranes shows that algae are the main source of hydrocarbon precursors. The Ganquan Formation’s methylphenanthrene index, which is an effective molecular parameter index to measure thermal evolution of organic matter, ranges from 0.35 to 0.50, and the conversion of vitrinite reflectance Rc from it is within the range of 2.00-2.09, indicating that the Ganquan Formation source rocks are in the over-mature stage of thermal evolution.  相似文献

三叠系延长组是鄂尔多斯盆地中生界重要的含油气层位,属典型的岩性油藏,具有含油层位多、成藏关系复杂的特点,其中烃源岩发育特征对岩性油藏分布具有重要的控制作用.基于露头和测井资料,将鄂尔多斯盆地南部延长组自下而上划分为SQ1、SQ2和SQ3三个三级层序,研究了层序地层格架控制下烃源岩的发育特征及其控制因素.研究结果表明:主力烃源岩赋存于湖侵体系域,以长7段为代表,属湖泊扩张至最大湖泛期物源补给欠补偿时半深湖-深湖相沉积,缺乏大量陆源碎屑注入而发育腐泥组占绝对优势的高有机质丰度烃源岩.高位体系域亦发育有烃源岩,如长9段和长6-4+5段,属最大湖泛期后物源补给超过基准面上升而向湖盆推进的滨湖相、浅湖相沉积,陆源碎屑输入致其表现为腐植型占优势且具较高有机质丰度的烃源岩.油源对比显示延长组油源主要来自晚三叠世延长组最大湖泛期形成的长7段湖侵体系域,说明不同体系域烃源岩对延长组油藏的贡献存在差异.层序地层沉积动力背景下体系域可容纳空间垂向与侧向变化,不仅决定体系域内部沉积相类型展布,更直接控制体系域内烃源岩有机质丰度和类型.研究层序地层格架中不同体系域内烃源岩赋存的差异性,有助于在层序沉积背景下预测和评价盆地内烃源岩分布规律.   相似文献

A reversal of the conventional carbon isotope relationship, “terrestrial-lighter-than-marine” organic matter, has been documented for two Pennsylvanian (Desmoinesian) cyclothemic sequence cores from the Midcontinent craton of the central United States. “Deep” water organic-rich phosphatic black shales contain a significant proportion of algal-derived marine organic matter (as indicated by organic petrography, Rock-Eval hydrogen index and ratios) and display the lightest δ13C-values (max −27.80‰ for kerogen) while shallower water, more oxic facies (e.g. fossiliferous shales and limestones) contain dominantly terrestrial organic matter and have heavier δ13Ckerogen-values (to −22.87‰ for a stratigraphically adjacent coal). δ13C-values for extract fractions were relatively homogeneous for the organic-rich black shales with the lightest fraction (often the aromatics) being only 1‰, or less, more negative than the kerogen. Differences between extract fractions and kerogens were much greater for oxic facies and coals (e.g. saturates nearly 5‰ lighter than the kerogen).A proposed depositional model for the black shales calls upon a large influx of nutrients and humic detritus to the marine environment from the laterally adjacent, extremely widespread Pennsylvanian (peat) swamps which were rapidly submerged by transgression of the epicontinental seas. In this setting marine organisms drew upon a CO2-reservoir which was in a state of disequilibrium with the atmosphere, being affected by isotopically light “recycled-CO2” derived from the decomposition of peaty material in the water column and possibly from the anoxic diagenesis of organic matter in the sediments.  相似文献

新疆萨热克含铜盆地库孜贡苏组是复合型冲积扇沉积相,是重要的赋矿层。利用研究区24个钻孔和10个露头剖面资料,运用高分辨率层序地层学原理进行单孔沉积相、连孔沉积相、平面沉积相分析,对新疆萨热克含铜盆地库孜贡苏组(J3k)复合型冲积扇内部垂向和3个中期旋回期间沉积相亚相的平面分布特征进行了研究。研究表明,该区库孜贡苏组垂向分布大体可分为3个中期基准面旋回和若干短期基准面旋回,据此建立了高分辨率层序地层对比格架。3个中期旋回期间,沉积亚相平面发育模式差异大。铜矿(化)体垂向、平面分布特征明显。  相似文献

The origin of fine‐grained dolomite in peritidal rocks has been the subject of much debate recently and evidence is presented here for a microbial origin of this dolomite type in the Norian Dolomia Principale of northern Calabria (southern Italy). Microbial carbonates there consist of stromatolites, thrombolites, and aphanitic dolomites. High‐relief thrombolites and stromatolites characterize sub‐tidal facies, and low‐relief and planar stromatolites, with local oncoids, typify the inter‐supratidal facies. Skeletal remains are very rare in the latter, whereas a relatively rich biota of skeletal cyanophycea, red algae and foraminifera is present in the sub‐tidal facies. Some 75% of the succession consists of fabric‐preserving dolomite, especially within the microbial facies, whereas the rest is composed of coarse dolomite with little fabric preservation. Three end‐members of dolomite replacement fabric are distinguished: type 1 and type 2, fabric retentive, with crystal size <5 and 5–60 μm, respectively; and type 3, fabric destructive, with larger crystals, from 60 to several hundred microns. In addition, there are dolomite cements, precipitated in the central parts of primary cavities during later diagenesis. Microbialite textures in stromatolites are generally composed of thin, dark micritic laminae of type 1 dolomite, alternating with thicker lighter‐coloured laminae of the coarser type 2 dolomite. Thrombolites are composed of dark, micritic clotted fabrics with peloids, composed of type 1 dolomite, surrounded by coarser type 2 dolomite. Marine fibrous cement crusts are also present, now composed of type 2 dolomite. Scanning electron microscope observations of the organic‐rich micritic laminae and clots of the inter‐supratidal microbialites reveal the presence of spherical structures which are interpreted as mineralized bacterial remains. These probably derived from the fossilization of micron‐sized coccoid bacteria and spheroidal–ovoidal nanometre‐scale dwarf‐type bacterial forms. Furthermore, there are traces of degraded organic matter, probably also of bacterial origin. The microbial dolomites were precipitated in a hypersaline environment, most likely through evaporative dolomitization, as suggested by the excess Ca in the dolomites, the small crystal size, and the positive δ18O values. The occurrence of fossilized bacteria and organic matter in the fabric‐preserving dolomite of the microbialites could indicate an involvement of bacteria and organic matter degradation in the precipitation of syn‐sedimentary dolomite.  相似文献

Geochemical (element analysis, molecular analysis of organic compounds), physical, palynological, mineralogical and sedimentary facies analysis were performed to characterise the sedimentary record in Fuentillejo maar‐lake in the Central Spanish Volcanic Field of Campo de Calatrava, in order to reconstruct the palaeoenvironmental and palaeoclimatic processes which controlled vegetation patterns and deposition of different sedimentary facies. The upper 20 m of core FUENT‐1 show variations in clastic input, water chemistry, vegetation and organic fraction sources in the lake throughout the Late Pleistocene and Holocene. The temporal framework provided by 14C accelerator mass spectrometry dating allows assigning the sequence to the last 50 cal. ka BP. Arid phases identified in the FUENT‐1 sequence are correlated to Heinrich events (HE) and to stadials of the Dansgaard/Oeschger (D/O) cycles. Siliciclastic facies with high magnetic susceptibility values, high Juniperus pollen content, a low Paq index (aquatic macrophysics proxy index), a decrease in the relative percentage of the n‐C27 and an increase in the n‐C31 alkanes are indicative of arid and colder climatic events related to HE 2, HE 1 and the Younger Dryas (YD). Similar short cold and arid phases during the Holocene were identified at 9.2–8.6, 7.5–7 and 5.5–5 cal. ka BP. In dolomite–mud facies, the pollen data show an increase in the herbs component, mainly – Chenopodiaceae, Artemisia and Ephedra – steppe taxa; a low Paq index, a decrease in the relative percentage of the n‐C27 alkane and an increase in the n‐C31 alkane are also observed. This facies was probably the result of lower lake levels and more saline–alkaline conditions, which can be interpreted as linked to arid–warm periods. These warm and arid phases were more frequent during Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 3 and the interstadials of MIS 2. HE 4, HE 2, HE 1 and the YD in core FUENT‐1 were immediately followed by increases of warm steppe pollen assemblages that document rapid warming similar to the D/O cycles but do not imply increasing humidity in the area. Fuentillejo hydrology is controlled by changes in the atmospheric and oceanic systems that operated on the North Atlantic region at millennial scale during the last 50 cal. ka BP. 岩石学、沉积相、元素地球化学的综合分析结果表明,羌塘盆地沃若山地区上三叠统土门格拉组(T_3t)地层为三角洲沉积;整体富含水解性元素、Fe族元素以及上部砂岩Fe元素富集(高Fe/Mn比值)的特征表明古水体环境为较浅的河口-滨岸环境;CIA值(63.8~79)、ICV值(0.52~1.4)和Ga/Rb-K2O/Al2O3关系图解分析结果显示当时为风化强度中等、较温暖的半干旱—半湿润气候;Sr/Ba比值全部小于1(0.09~0.27),表明沉积水体为盐度较低的陆相淡水;根据V、U、Mo的含量比值,判断其为氧化-弱氧化的富氧水体环境。较为温湿的气候有利于生物的繁殖,但氧化-弱氧化的环境不利于有机质的富集,限制了该地区烃源岩发育:土门格拉组烃源岩的TOC含量为0.76%~1.46%(均值为1.04%),属中等品质的烃源岩。  相似文献

The exploration conducted in the Bohai Bay basin, eastern China has demonstrated that the abundant petroleum resources have close affinities to the hydrocarbon kitchen with rich organic matter. A number of oil-generating associations with various characteristics of organic geochemistry and assemblages of multiple reservoir facies are developed due to the multi-center sedimentation, multi-source supply and multi-cycle evolution of filling, which have resulted in the formation of multiple oil and gas accumulation zones of various layers and trap styles. Among them the Paleogene Shahejie Formation is the most important hydrocarbon accumulation combination in the Dongying sag. Heretofore, its proved reserve has reached nearly 1.8×109t, which accounts for more than 90% of the total proved reserves of the Dongying sag. Based on previous studies, more than 600 source rock samples and 186 crude oil samples of the Shahejie Formation, collected from 30 oilfields, have been treated with organic geochemical testing  相似文献
