印度尼西亚克拉卡托火山安山岩的各类矿物斑晶中舍大量岩浆包裹体。根据岩浆包裹体均一温度和化学成分,可以建立如下斑晶矿物结晶顺序(由早至晚):斜长石中心相(An83—72)、橄榄石→斜长石过渡相(An61)、单斜辉石、钛磁铁矿→斜长石边缘相(An54-42)。斜长石斑晶中心部分在5kb压力的岩浆深处结晶。高压环境和高钛含量,有利于早期斜长石斑晶所含岩浆包裹体中发生硅酸盐液体不混溶作用。这是板块构造消减带中安山质熔岩的特点。  相似文献

武尊火山岩下降液相线已被确定下来。矿物组合和斑晶的化学成分随基质(岩浆流体)化学成分的变化而系统地变化。随着基质SiO_2含量的增加结晶顺序如下:在SiO_2含量为53.5~57~*Wt%之间的岩浆中,橄榄石、紫苏辉石、普通辉石、斜长石及磁铁矿共生。SiO_2含量高于57Wt%的液体中橄揽石消失。普通辉石、紫苏辉石、磁铁矿和斜长石继续结晶,直到液体SiO_2的含量至少达到70Wt%。据估计,在分离结晶过程中结晶矿质的量为46Wt%(斜长石22;紫苏辉石6;普通辉石11;磁铁矿7),而岩浆中SiO_2含量的变化从57到70Wt%之间。依据斜长石与其它斑晶的估计比值和肉眼观察的斑晶模式成分比值之间的差值推出了在分离结晶作用过程中斜长石的堆积作用。随着基质SiO_2含量的增加,基质辉石组合依下列顺序变化:普通辉石 易变辉石→易变辉石→易变辉石 紫苏辉石→紫苏辉石。这一变化反映了岩浆标准透辉石含量的减少。分离结晶作用的化学和矿物学特点与日本其它一些岛弧拉斑玄武岩类似,尽管武尊火山的一些岩石标准透辉石含量稍低于其它一些火山的岩石,并且在SiO高于65Wt%的岩石中出现基质紫苏辉石。  相似文献

东天山觉罗塔格构造带雅满苏组的构造背景一直存有较大争议。斑晶成分和结构的研究可以对岩浆系列、构造背景和岩浆演化的物理化学条件作出制约。本文报道了雅满苏组火山岩中斜长石和辉石斑晶的研究成果。辉石属于普通辉石-顽透辉石系列,部分样品的辉石颗粒与寄主岩达到了岩浆平衡。辉石判别图解表明寄主岩浆属于亚碱性系列,形成于俯冲带环境,与微量元素判别结果相一致。根据辉石-熔体温压计,得到辉石结晶时的温度在1150℃左右,压力相当于5~10 km的地壳深度。雅满苏组火山岩中主体的斜长石属于拉长石,JX-24-1斜长石为中长石,成分和结构特征都表明该颗粒为捕虏晶。辉石和斜长石捕虏晶共同揭示了雅满苏组火山岩在地壳浅部发生了结晶分异和围岩混染的岩浆过程。  相似文献

天和永地区南北向出露的小面积单层碱性玄武岩,岩石中出现至少三种矿物共生组合关系。所有岩石均以橄榄石作为主要斑晶矿物,大颗粒环带橄榄石斑晶中心镁值为89.5,边缘镁值为70.3,小颗粒环带橄榄石镁值46.2~78.9。粒径最小的橄榄石聚集体和散布的基质橄榄石均无明显环带,前者镁值67.4~68.1,后者镁值65.5—72.1;单斜辉石由相对高钛高铝贫硅的散布柱状辉石和相对低钛低铝富硅的聚集粒状辉石组成,前者形成于低压快速淬火环境,镁值65.1—77.1,后者形成于富含挥发份的低压低过冷度环境,镁值77.7~78.0。所有单斜辉石均以次透辉石为主,个别为深绿辉石;斜长石以包含结构产出为主,为相对偏酸性的中长石An=33.7~37.4,CaO含量低与早期大量单斜辉石结晶有关。由于残余岩浆内K,0和Na20含量富集且极不均一,晚期结晶的长石同时出现了高钠长石、K-高钠长石(歪长石)和K-透长石;钛铁氧化物多数为晚期结晶的细粒基质矿物,少量以0.3ram左右的斑晶和橄榄石斑晶中的包裹体形式存在,可归属为钛铁尖晶石(Usp)-磁铁矿(Mt)固溶体系列,晚期逐渐向贫铝、铬和富钛方向演化。由于以上各种造岩矿物的晶出,导致残余岩浆形成的火山玻璃向贫镁、铁、钙和富铝、钾方向演化,火山玻璃的全碱含量变异趋势与全岩类似,均和SiO2含量无明显相关性,火山玻璃具有响岩和粗面安山岩成分特征,K2O/Na2O值变化大0.68~1.61,均为钾玄岩系列,Na2O含量依然呈现宽区间特征,是天和永玄武岩由钾质过渡到钠质的主要原因。天和永玄武质岩浆从地幔运移到地表仅需5小时-5天,大颗粒斑晶橄榄石和小颗粒基质橄榄石生长仅需几小时到几天,前者形成无须深部岩浆房停留,后者近似晚期岩浆快速淬火时间。高镁橄榄石斑晶与残余岩浆的扩散平衡时间约42天~252天。深部结晶的橄榄石在运移途中和地表流动过程中缺乏足够的时间和适宜的动力学条件而无法离开岩浆体系。全岩与火山玻璃间缺少中间过渡成分,呈两个相对集中的端元组分存在亦由晶出矿物无法离开岩浆体系所致。天和永玄武岩的成岩时间尺度远小于同化混染和岩浆分异的时间尺度,是岩浆作用过程未能明显影响其不均一原生岩浆性质的主要原因。因此,岩浆作用的某些物理过程分析是认识岩浆起源与岩浆作用过程及其对火成岩多样性的贡献的重要方面,同时对于理解和约束岩浆作用的某些化学过程也是十分有益的。  相似文献

在岩相学和岩石地球化学研究的基础上,结合对主要造岩矿物辉石、长石和霞石的电子探针研究,揭示山西临县紫金山岩体成因。研究表明,紫金山岩体为一套富钾碱性-过碱性岩石。根据各期岩石中矿物组合,可将紫金山杂岩体7期岩石分为两种岩石系列:经典碱性岩浆系列和非经典碱性岩浆系列。经典碱性岩浆系列中均出现似长石(霞石或白榴石)和钾长石,而不出现斜长石,除第三期霓霞钛辉岩外均含霓辉石(钠质辉石);非经典碱性岩浆系列岩石中均出现透辉石(钙质辉石),而不出现似长石,部分期次岩石中出现斜长石。结合两个岩浆系列中全岩Sr-Nd同位素数据及区域地质资料,推测紫金山岩体成因为:吕梁地区中生代软流圈地幔的上涌及扰动促使来自软流圈、岩石圈地幔和下地壳物质部分熔融产生的岩浆发生多次不同比例的混合,所形成的各期混合岩浆分批上侵依次定位在地壳浅部环境形成7期岩石。因各期岩浆源区中所含壳源物质比例不同,故它们可分为具有不同矿物组合的两个岩石系列。  相似文献

浙江雁荡山是中国东南部燕山晚期巨型火山-侵入杂岩带的重要组成部分。对其中央侵入相石英正长斑岩的暗色微粒包体中的斑晶和基质斜长石进行了详细的内部结构和成分分析,揭示了斜长石复杂环带的成因和相关的岩浆作用过程。斑晶斜长石由熔蚀的核部和表面干净的幔部组成,边部包裹有钾长石膜。核部斜长石呈浑圆状或港湾状,内部发育筛状结构,An成分显著低于幔部斜长石,代表来自酸性岩浆房中早期结晶的斜长石捕掳晶。同时,幔部斜长石与自形、表面干净的基质斜长石具有类似的An含量,且两者均含有针状磷灰石的包裹体,应结晶自与暗色微粒包体相应的基性岩浆。长石的复杂结构记录了雁荡山火山-侵入杂岩形成过程中的岩浆混合作用和岩浆演化过程。岩浆混合之后的火山喷发活动,造成岩浆房的压力突然减小,温压条件达到钾长石结晶的区域,在石英正长斑岩的斑晶斜长石和暗色包体中的斑晶与基质斜长石外均形成钾长石膜,构成反环斑结构。  相似文献

从南海南大陆坡底至北大陆坡底采集的玄武岩样品,基本可以代表南海新生代岩浆活动的代表性样品.本文中对这些玄武岩中单斜辉石的矿物化学成分进行了研究,研究的单斜辉石以顽透辉石为主(占3/4),还有少量普通辉石及次透辉石等,也出现少量较为罕见的富钙辉石,位于深绿辉石区域内.基质微晶辉石比辉石斑晶更富钙、钛、铁,可能反映了岩浆演化向着富钙、钛、铁方向发展,且碱度逐渐降低.与碱性系列的演化趋势基本一致.由单斜辉石-熔体平衡温压计计算的岩浆房深度分别为:碱玄岩岩浆房约49km左右,粗面玄武岩岩浆房约25km;玄武岩岩浆房约15km.由碱玄岩→粗面玄武岩→玄武岩,平衡温度(K)依次降低:从1535~1498→1429→1369.南海新生代玄武岩为板内碱性玄武岩.碱性玄武岩系列可能是地幔柱在上升过程中在不同深度处发生部分熔融并伴随有分离结晶作用等物理化学过程的连续演变的产物.  相似文献

松辽盆地早白垩世营城组火山岩系含有丰富的珍珠岩,为松辽盆地重要的油气勘探目的层位。在松辽盆地边缘东南隆起九台地区出露有比较新鲜的珍珠岩,内部斑晶保存完好,裂隙发育;斑晶矿物主要有斜长石、黑云母、角闪石,还有镁铁质的单斜辉石和斜方辉石。对含斑晶珍珠岩和剔除斑晶后的珍珠岩玻璃质分别进行地球化学分析,斑晶矿物进行单矿物电子探针成分研究。其结果表明:该珍珠岩属于酸性高钾钙-碱性系列,微量和稀土元素特征显示与上部地壳相似;斑晶矿物单斜辉石为斜紫苏辉石和次透辉石,斜方辉石为紫苏辉石,均显示变质成因,属于捕虏晶;与珍珠岩相邻层位玄武岩的斑晶斜长石为拉长石,单斜辉石为铁次透辉石,属于岩浆成因。这些特征表明,珍珠岩原岩可能来自于上部地壳,其辉石等捕虏晶为岩浆上侵运移过程与围岩发生混染作用的结果。  相似文献

本文旨在探究安徽铜陵鸡冠山辉石闪长岩中角闪石堆积岩的岩相学和矿物学特征及其地质意义。岩相学研究表明,钛铁磁铁矿和磷灰石早于角闪石结晶并被角闪石包裹形成包含结构,钛铁矿与磁铁矿以固溶体分离结构共存。矿物学分析显示角闪石为具幔源特征的镁绿钙闪石和韭闪石,钛铁磁铁矿中磁铁矿Ti含量极低。地质温压计计算得出角闪石的形成压力为0.70~0.76 GPa,相当于23~25km深度,形成温度为890~975℃;钛铁矿与磁铁矿固溶体分离的平衡温度为501~613℃。综合已有研究及本次分析表明,鸡冠山角闪石堆积岩是由下地壳深位岩浆房中由底侵的碱性玄武岩浆与下地壳发生同化混染作用形成的中基性岩浆结晶分异形成,而钛铁磁铁矿的平衡是随上述的中基性岩浆侵位到地表浅部逐渐冷却在固相线下达到的,角闪石堆积岩记录了鸡冠山岩体的形成过程。  相似文献

In the Deer Lake Basin of western Newfoundland, Canada, analcime has been found within fine-grained, siliciclastic and carbonate, lake and lake-margin sediments of the Carboniferous Rocky Brook Formation. Analcime is the only zeolite observed in these unmetamorphosed and non-volcanogenic rocks. Microscopic analcime occurs as vug-filling, limpid, isotropic to anisotropic crystals. Microprobe analyses show this type of analcime to be lower in silica than most analcime in sedimentary rocks. A second textural type of finer-grained submicroscopic analcime can be detected from X-ray diffraction spectra of Rocky Brook Formation mudstones, where it is associated with phyllosilicates (illite, interstratified chlorite/smectite, smectite, chlorite), other silicates (quartz, feldspar) and carbonates (dolomite, calcite). Results of this study suggest that the analcime in the Rocky Brook Formation formed either by direct lakewater/porewater precipitation or by reaction of these waters with one or more clay mineral types or plagioclase.  相似文献

The stability fields of analcime and analcime+quartz have been investigated using conventional hydrothermal techniques, over the approximate range of conditions 160–600 °C and 500–5000 bars fluid pressure. The dehydration of analcime (Na2Al2Si3·3O11·6 · nH2O) to albite, nepheline and H2O occurs at temperatures of 492±5 °C at 500 bars, 538±5 °C at 1000 bars, 578±5 °C at 2000 bars and 598±5 °C at 3000 bars. In the presence of quartz, analcine dehydrates to highly disordered albite and H2O at about 200 °C and 2000 bars, 196°±5 °C and 3000 bars, about 190 °C and 4000 bars, and 183±5 °C at 5000 bars Pfluid. The synthetic phase equilibria appear to be compatible with field observations that primary analcimes occur as phenocrysts or in groundmass in some volcanic and hypabyssal rocks and secondary analcimes in sedimentary, hydrothermally altered and low-grade metamorphic rocks.  相似文献

Feldspar phenocrysts, microphenocrysts, groundmass feldspar, interstitial material of feldspar composition, and residual SiO2-K2O-rich glass in 24 rocks of the tholeiitic, alkalic, and nephelinic suites from Haleakala and West Maui volcanoes, Maui, Hawaii, were analyzed quantitatively with the electron microprobe. Rocks studied include tholeiite, olivine tholeiite, oceanite, alkalic olivine basalt, alkalic basalt, hawaiite, mugearite, trachyte, basanite, and basanitoid. Results and conclusions: i) In all rocks studied, An decreases and Or increases from phenocrysts to microphenocrysts to groundmass feldspar to interstitial material of feldspar composition. ii) Phenocrysts occur in rocks of the tholeiitic and alkalic suites and, in spite of differences in bulk rock compositions, overlap in composition. iii) Groundmass feldspar in rocks of the tholeiitic suite are nearly identical in composition; the same is true for rocks of the nephelinic suite. However, in the highly differentiated alkalic suite, groundmass feldspar composition ranges from labradorite to sanidine; i.e. the higher the bulk rock CaO, the higher is the An content, and the higher the bulk K2O, the higher is the Or content. iv) In general, rocks with phenocrysts have groundmass feldspar less An-rich than those without phenocrysts. v) In rocks of the tholeiitic suite, normative feldspar approaches modal feldspar. However, in rocks of the alkalic and nephelinic suites, normative feldspar, because of the presence of highly alkalic interstitial material and the absence of nepheline in the mode but its presence in the norm, is drastically different from modal feldspar. vi) Hawaiites contain labradorite and not andesine, as per definition, and mugearite contains andesine and not oligoclase, as groundmass feldspar. In fact, when considering phenocrysts and interstitial material of feldspar composition, hawaiites range from bytownite to sanidine and mugearite from andesine to sodic sanidine, but normative feldspar plots in the andesine field for hawaiites and the oligoclase field for mugearite. vii) Rocks of the three suites can be distinguished on the basis of Or and An in groundmass feldspar, the presence of thin rims of groundmass composition of phenocrysts of rocks of the alkalic suite, and the presence of interstitial material of anorthoclase to sanidine composition in rocks of the alkalic and nephelinic suites. iix) Rocks transitional between the tholeiitic and alkalic suites are observed and are characterized by transitional mineral compositions.This paper was first presented as a talk before the 68. Because orthopyroxenes do not occur in nephelinites, the widely used methods of calculating f(O2) based on the olivine + orthopyroxene + spinel paragenesis are not applicable in this case. The authors present new methods of calculation, three of which are based on published data detailing exchange reactions between two pyroxenes and the melt. The activities of MgSiO2 and FeSiO2 are calculated from the composition of the groundmass of effusives in equilibrium with clinopyroxenes, making it possible (considering the activities of olivine and titanomagnetite components of the rocks) to normalize f(O2) with regard to the quartz-fayalite-magnetite (QFM) buffer. In another version, the activities of enstatite are calculated considering the calcium content in rock olivines, using experimental data on the equilibrium of olivine with the two pyroxenes on which the well-known olivine geobarometer is based (Koehler and Brey, 1990). Still another method involves calculation of aFe.0 using the composition of the groundmass of nephelinites on the basis of equilibria of silicate melts with metallic iron (Ariskin et al., 1992), which then, in conjunction with magnetite, yields f (O2).

The five methods of estimating f (O2) by use of different sets of experimental data and thermodynamic constants for various solid phases yield a maximum spread that does not exceed 0.8 logarithmic units. The average value of log10 f(O2) for phenocryst and microphenocryst associations of nephelinites, obtained using all five methods, ranged from +1.6 to +1.8 above the level of the QFM buffer. These estimates support the conclusion that the mantle is in a relatively oxidized state in regions of intra-plate oceanic islands (Amundsen and Neumann, 1992). Coexisting microlites of titanomagnetite and ilmenite from the nephelinite groundmass point to an appreciably lower relative f(O2) (below the QFM), which evidently is explained by a drop in the redox potential under the conditions of a relatively closed system, with intensive deposition of titanomagnetite.

The phenocryst associations of phonolites yield f(O2) values normalized with respect to the QFM buffer that are close to analogous values for the phenocrysts and microphenocrysts of nephelinites (on average, 1.5 logarithmic units above the QFM on the basis of constants of the reaction between the components of titanomagnetite, clinopyroxene, nepheline, K-feldspar, and sphene). In all probability, differentiation in the magma chamber that led to the appearance of phonolite magmas in late stages occurred in a system that was open (with regard to oxygen). In this case, more intensive removal of magnetite resulted in silica activities in the residual magmas that were higher than in a closed system (phenocrysts of sphene are present in phonolites, but perovskite is observed in some cases in the groundmass of nephelinites, with sphene being absent).  相似文献

The alkalic pyroxenite nodule consists of megacrysts of diopside, apatite, perovskite and titanomagnetite in a groundmass consisting of diopside, apatite, titanomagnetite, nepheline, melilite, garnet and vishnevite crystals of various shapes, including previously undescribed skeletal and dendritic shapes, together with vesicles and residual glass. The residual glass is poor in SiO2 (38–40 wt%), and extraordinarily rich in Na2O (12.8–15 wt%), SO3 (1–1.5 wt%), and Cl (0.25–0.7 wt%), as a result of rapid, non-equilibrium crystallization of groundmass phases from a CO2-rich nephelinite melt.The Oldoinyo Lengai alkalic carbonatite lavas do not represent extreme products of the fractional crystallization of pyroxene, wollastonite, nepheline and alkali feldspar from the carbonated nephelinite melt. The most likely connection between the carbonatite and silicate magma types is one of liquid immiscibility, probably involving phonolite melt.  相似文献

渤海湾盆地北塘凹陷古近系沙河街组三段白云岩中有多种矿物,X射线衍射(XRD)分析识别出的主要矿物有白云石、方沸石、石英、长石、黏土矿物、黄铁矿及方解石等,其中方沸石平均含量达38.8%。根据钻井岩心、岩石薄片、扫描电镜、电子探针和地球化学分析等资料,对沙三段白云岩中方沸石的矿物特征进行详细描述并探究其成因。结果表明,沙三段白云岩中的方沸石有2种分布样式,分别是纹层型和充填型,其中前者多与白云石互层、呈纹层状,偶见似结核状;后者形成较晚,方沸石以填隙物形式充填在裂缝、孔隙之中。这2种方沸石的存在形式、晶体形态、伴生矿物各不相同,其中纹层型方沸石多与白云石共生,晶体粒径小于0.04,mm,为泥晶结构;充填型方沸石多与黄铁矿、有机质共生,晶体粒径大于0.04,mm,为粉晶结构。根据主、微量元素及碳、氧同位素分析结果,计算出古盐度平均为28.8‰,Sr/Ba值平均为2.93,表明渤海湾盆地北塘凹陷沙河街组三段沉积时期为碱—咸溶液沉积环境,具备形成方沸石的条件。电子探针测试的Si/Al值表明,这2类方沸石母质来源不同,纹层型方沸石母质为黏土矿物,而充填型方沸石母质与热液有关。与国内含方沸石白云岩的盆地进行对比,并从岩石学特征、形成温度等方面进行分析,认为研究区方沸石有2种成因,其中纹层型方沸石是同生成岩阶段的产物,而充填型方沸石则受到热液流体的影响。  相似文献

响岩代表了陆内火山岩省钠质碱性岩浆最终端的演化产物,揭示其成因机制对认识陆内火山岩省的岩浆演化过程具有重要意义。文章对出露在我国境内西南天山托云中新生代火山岩盆地的响岩开展了系统的矿物学、岩石学和地球化学研究,以揭示托云火山岩岩浆系列特征和岩浆演化过程。托云响岩以发育碱性长石、单斜辉石、铁橄榄石和角闪石斑晶为特征,在基质中可见霞石。在地球化学组成上,托云响岩以高的Na2O含量(7.9%~8.6%)和K2O含量(5.2%~6.3%)为特征,∑REE变化范围为408×10-6~470×10-6,稀土元素配分曲线具有明显的Eu异常,在原始地幔标准化的微量元素蛛网图上,样品显示出Ba、Sr、P、Ti的负异常和Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf的正异常特征。亏损的Nd同位素组成表明其成因与共生的碧玄岩有紧密的成因联系,经MELTS热力学模拟,响岩可由碧玄岩经碱性长石(36%)、单斜辉石(21%)、尖晶石(10%)、铁橄榄石(6%)和角闪石(5%)的分离结晶作用形成,进一步的EC-AFC模拟表明,响岩在形成过程中受到一定程...  相似文献

This article is focused on dacitic pumices, which are the felsic members of the basalt–andesite–dacite series. The phenoscrysts of all of the rocks from this series are the same: plagioclase, olivine, clino- and orthopyroxenes, and titanomagnetite. The groundmass of dacitic pumices that contain microlites of the same minerals and felsic glass has been studied in detail. Quartz and K–Na feldspar are absent. The study of that microlite zoning that formed in the upper parts of the channels or at the surface under the most nonequilibrium conditions was one of the most important tasks; it revealed several interesting features. As an example, anorthite plagioclases were found as microlites. The resorption zones are absent in both plagioclase phenocrysts and microlites, which implies the major role of fractionation rather than magma mixing.  相似文献

Samples from several stratigraphic levels in the Miocene volcanicsuccession on Lesbos, Greece, contain complexly zoned clinopyroxeneand feldspar phenocrysts. Electron microprobe analyses havebeen made of zoned clinopyroxenes and feldspars, and their inclusions;and phenocryst mineralogy is compared with host-rock chemicalcomposition. The commonest pyroxene zoning sequence is coresof greenish salite or augite mantled by diopside which, in turn,may be rimmed by augite, with each type of pyroxene in opticaland chemical discontinuity with the next. None of the pyroxeneshas high pressure characteristics. The Ts content of phenocrystcores is correlated with the K-content of the host rock; andthe most diopsidic overgrowths also occur in the most K-richrocks. Augite rims occur only in Al-rich rocks. Most of the features of the pyroxenes can be accounted for bya hypothetical fractional crystallization scheme. However, twoobservations suggest that mixing of small magma batches mayalso be important. The earliest crystallized diopsides thatrim salite are rich in Cr2O3, suggesting precipitation froman unfractionated magma. Anorthoclase (implying advanced crystallizationof feldspars) occurs as cores to feldspar phenocrysts and asinclusions in clinopyroxene cores in several samples.  相似文献
