王恩涌的学术生命路径和学术树

运用学术生命路径方法,研究已故当代中国地理学家、地理教育家王恩涌先生的学术史。在统计了王恩涌1954—2019年192种次学术著述的基础上,在时间维度上建立学术生命路径曲线和学术生命路径表,并系统构建学术树,以分析其学术著述的数量变化和内容变迁,进而构筑个人学术体系。研究发现：(1)学术生命路径曲线展示的王恩涌学术著述数量在时间轴上的分布呈现出波峰右偏的特征,不仅反映了个人的生命成长路径,也折射出中国当代政治、经济、文化等领域发展的脉动;(2)根据学术生命路径表展现出的王恩涌研究学科领域在时间轴上的分布变化,进一步划分为4个时期：苏联影响下的自然地理学时期,研究停滞与探索时期,以文化、政治地理为主的多领域探索时期,地理学科社会化推广时期,反映出王恩涌的个人学术偏好迁徙和中国地理学70年间的整体变化轨迹;(3)综合构筑的学术树勾勒出王恩涌一生经营的学术群落整体景观,连同进而构建的核心学术图谱凝练了其厚重深远的学术影响。     

陈传康教授学术思想研讨会暨逝世一周年纪念会召开

1998年10月4日,"陈传康教授学术思想研讨会暨逝世一周年纪念会"在北京大学城市与环境学系召开.陈传康教授是我国著名的学者、地理学家,生前系北京大学城市与环境学系教授、博士生导师,中国地理学会副理事长、前自然地理专业委员会主任、旅游地理专业委员会主任、<地理学报>编委.陈传康教授50年代毕业于北京大学地质地理系,在四十多年的地理学教学与科研过程中,对本学科的保留与发展、理论研究、学术实践、人才培养起到了不可磨灭的重要作用.他在自然地理学特别是综合自然地理学、旅游地理学方面有很深的造诣和影响力,还在地质学、土地科学、哲学、美学、宗教学、民俗学等方面有较深的研究,对人才的培养有独到的见解,提出了"干"字型人才的理论.创新性是陈传康学术风格的核心特点,他致力于将地理学的发展与国家现实需要相结合.

第一次全国地学史学术讨论会在广州召开

由中国科学技术史学会地学史专业委员会主办的第一次全国地学史学术讨论会于1982年12月20-24日在广州召开.来自44个单位的73位同志参加了会议,会议收到论文75篇.这次会议是建国以来地学史研究的一次大检阅,充分显示出我国在地学史研究方面已经具有一支可观的队伍,取得了一批可喜的成果. 会议开幕式由中国科学技术史学会常务理事陈传康副教授主持.自然科学史研究所副所长严杰教授、中国地质学会地质学史研究会会长夏湘蓉总工程师作了国际上地学史和地质学史研究动态的报告.     

我国将出版《中国人文地理》大型丛书

不久前举行的中国地理学会人文地理专业委员会在京委员扩大会议上,决定出版《中国人文地理》大型丛书,以便和八十年代出版的《中国自然地理》大型丛书相匹配,使中国地理出版系统化、完善化。中国地理学会理事长、学部委员吴传钧教授非常支持这项具有重要学术价值、全面反映中国人文地理研究水平和中国人文地理及其各个领域总貌的学术论著。会前吴理事长专门同科学出版社负责人陈丙寅、吴三保编审讨论了这个问题。     

中国政治地理学的学术谱系

本文从中西方比较的视角,探讨了中国政治地理学的学术谱系特征,对中国政治地理学的未来发展路径进行了展望。本文认为,以西方政治地理学的发展脉络为背景,中国政治地理学的发展可概括为萌芽期、停滞期和复兴期3个阶段;当前政治地理学在中国的研究基础已经建立起来,但仍具有离散的特征。总体而言,中国政治地理学的研究主体包括探讨军事战略、外交政策的“地缘政治学者”和地理学者中关注政治要素的“兼业政治地理学者”,这两者存在部分的交集;在中国政治地理学发展的过程中,形成了以张其昀、鲍觉民、李旭旦、张文奎、王恩涌等学者为首的几个谱系,但总体而言政治地理学在中国仍然主要受到外源性理论影响,学科的概念和方法体系仍不完善,在此背景下的研究共识形成、学术共同体和学科知识体系构建仍是今后亟待解决的课题。结合这一思路,本文提出了更为均衡的中国政治地理学发展建议。     

《地理学报》80年载文统计分析

以中国期刊网全文数据库、中国引文数据库等为获取基本数据的工具,对《地理学报》1934-2013 年期间的载文进行统计分析和评价,以展示《地理学报》80 年的载文状况及其学术影响力,从一个侧面反映地理学研究的发展水平,为地理学发展提供相关参考数据.     

《林超地理学论文选》是份宝贵学术遗产

本论文选于１９９３年由北京大学出版社出版,共２２８页,林超教授（１９０９－１９９１）是当代国内外著名地理学家。他从事地理研究和地理教育６０余年,对我国地理学的发展作出过卓越贡献,现选录他２０世纪３０－９０年代的代表性论文２７篇,涉及地理学众多分文学科。林超教授的地理学术思想精髓是“地理学的综合性”。这实为宝贵的学术遗产。     

文化地理学概念、理论的逻辑关系之分析——以“学科树”分析近年中国大陆文化地理学进展

梳理近年中国大陆文化地理学进展,需要说明近年代表性的研究课题或著述与文化地理学学科体系之间的关系。1990-2005年中国大陆文化地理学主要从五个文化地理学主题开展研究。然而这五个主题之间的逻辑关系不十分清晰,也没有说清主要概念和理论之间的关系。因此本文首先搭建文化地理学的"学科树"。地理学的主要研究对象是"地方和区域",文化地理学的目标是从文化的角度分析"地方"的形成机制。本文将这个研究目标作为文化地理学"学科树"的主干,此外建立了"层间关系"和"尺度转换"两个分支,它们是探究地方性的两类方法。本文其次将文化地理学涉及的主要概念和理论分别挂在主干和两个分支上,并努力呈现出主要概念和理论出现的先后顺序,揭示文化地理学的发展进程。本文最后用"学科树",分析了中国大陆主要文化地理学研究者自己提出的代表性著述。分析的结果是:第一,关于地方形成机制的案例类型多样,多是基于结构主义认识论的分析。第二,关于层间关系的研究已经突破了自然与文化两层关系的分析,延展到文化各层之间的关系。第三,在不同尺度文化区转换的领域研究较薄弱。     

第六届中日韩地理学国际学术研讨会在韩国首尔举行

2011年11月6-9日,第六届中日韩地理学国际学术研讨会在韩国首尔召开,来自中国、日本和韩国的地理学者93人出席了会议。作为中日韩三国地理学术会议机制的发起者,中国地理学会派出了由副理事长、兰州大学副校长陈发虎教授为团长的18人代表团出席了本届会议,日本和韩国的参会学者分别有30人和45人。会议开幕式由韩国地理学会会长、韩国庆熙大学ChooSungjae教授主持,陈发虎教授代表中国地理学会致词,介绍了中国地理学会的发展,并展望了中日韩三国地理学家交流与合作的未来前景。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
