This paper evaluates possible directional effects from strong ground motions recorded during the last four significant subcrustal earthquakes produced in the Vrancea seismic zone(Romania) in August 1986(M_w=7.1),May 1990(M_w=6.9 and 6.4) and October 2004(M_w=6.0).Several measures of the horizontal component of the ground motion given in the literature(Boore et al.,2006;Boore,2010) are computed and are related to the geometric mean of the as-recorded horizontal components.ANOVA method is applied in order to quantify the influence of the earthquake magnitude and of the soil class on some strong ground motion parameters(e.g.Arias intensity,PGV/PGA,or mean period T_M).The study of the directional effects is performed using the distribution of I_(JMA) and of the rotation angle corresponding to a measure of the horizontal component of the ground motion(RotD 100) and the results reveal a visible directional pattern for I_(JMA),while in the case of RotD100 the directional patterns are less visible.  相似文献

为了研究基于砌体结构破坏的地震烈度物理标准,将15个地震动参数按属性(峰值、频率、持时和能量)分成4类,将地震记录按地震动三要素(峰值、频率、持时)分成3组,求出每组记录作用下砌体结构的延性系数,计算出各个参数值和延性系数的相关系数,比较分析这些相关系数发现地震动峰值加速度、有效峰值加速度、地震动输入能量和滞回耗能都能表征地震动对砌体的破坏势,并且这4个参数都和烈度有很好的相关性,可以作为烈度的物理标准。  相似文献

This paper presents a new way of selecting real input ground motions for seismic design and analysis of structures based on a comprehensive method for estimating the damage potential of ground motions, which takes into consideration of various ground motion parameters and structural seismic damage criteria in terms of strength, deformation, hysteretic energy and dual damage of Park & Ang damage index. The proposed comprehensive method fully involves the effects of the intensity, frequency content and duration of ground motions and the dynamic characteristics of structures. Then, the concept of the most unfavourable real seismic design ground motion is introduced. Based on the concept, the most unfavourable real seismic design ground motions for rock, stiff soil, medium soil and soft soil site conditions are selected in terms of three typical period ranges of structures. The selected real strong motion records are suitable for seismic analysis of important structures whose failure or collapse will be avoided at a higher level of confidence during the strong earthquake, as they can cause the greatest damage to structures and thereby result in the highest damage potential from an extended real ground motion database for a given site. In addition, this paper also presents the real input design ground motions with medium damage potential, which can be used for the seismic analysis of structures located at the area with low and moderate seismicity. The most unfavourable real seismic design ground motions are verified by analysing the seismic response of structures. It is concluded that the most unfavourable real seismic design ground motion approach can select the real ground motions that can result in the highest damage potential for a given structure and site condition, and the real ground motions can be mainly used for structures whose failure or collapse will be avoided at a higher level of confidence during the strong earthquake. 本文以美国加州3次破坏性地震和2008年中国汶川Ms8.0地震中所获得的强震记录作为数据源,应用最小二乘法进行线性回归,得到了不同地震动参数与烈度间的相关性.统计发现,在地面加速度峰值、地面速度峰值等16种描述地震动强度的参数中,烈度识别正确率及相关性最好的两个参数分别是标准累积绝对速度和谱烈度.  相似文献

2022年3月16日在日本福岛县东部海域发生7.4级地震,本文基于近实时震害评估系统RED-ACT对此次地震进行了快速评估,包括强震动记录分析、区域地震破坏力震害评估结果和典型桥梁破坏,并结合实际震害对比了该系统评估结果以及其他主要震害快速评估系统的分析结果,结果表明:(1)此次地震造成的地面运动强度较大,多数台站记录PGA较2021年福岛7.3级地震更强,反应谱在0.5~1.3s区间呈现远高于2021年福岛地震的趋势。(2)RED-ACT的震害评估结果相较于日本NIED-CRS系统和美国USGS-PAGER系统与实际震害更为接近,在强震动记录较为密集的地区,开展基于强震动时程和建筑非线性分析的震害评估能够得到更为准确的震害评估结果。(3)此次地震对白石市附近桥梁造成了一定的破坏,桥梁破坏附近处的强震动会对典型桥梁结构造成一定程度的破坏。  相似文献

Pulse-like ground motions are capable of inflicting significant damage to structures. Efficient classification of pulse-like ground motion is of great importance when performing the seismic assessment in near-fault regions. In this study, a new method for identifying the velocity pulses is proposed, based on different trends of two parameters: the short-time energy and the short-time zero crossing rate of a ground motion record. A new pulse indicator, the relative energy zero ratio(REZR), is defined to qualitatively identify pulse-like features. The threshold for pulse-like ground motions is derived and compared with two other identification methods through statistical analysis. The proposed procedure not only shows good accuracy and efficiency when identifying pulse-like ground motions but also exhibits good performance for classifying records with high-frequency noise and discontinuous pulses. The REZR method does not require a waveform formula to express and fit the potential velocity pulses; it is a purely signal-based classification method. Finally, the proposed procedure is used to evaluate the contribution of pulse-like motions to the total input energy of a seismic record, which dramatically increases the seismic damage potential.  相似文献

核电厂在遭遇超设计基准地震时需要考虑安全停堆,以避免造成核泄漏事故。采用地震动的峰值加速度参数(PGA)作为判别停堆的参数具有一定的局限性,PGA参数不能反映地震动的频谱和持时特征,因而可能引起不必要的停堆。针对此问题,基于我国本土大量实际强震记录,遴选出7种典型的工程相关地震动参数,进而基于地震烈度指标,分析发现地震动的标准累计绝对速度参数能更好地表征地震对核电厂的整体潜在破坏能力,适合作为判别停堆的参数,然后提出两种确定预警参数阈值的方法,最终建议考虑我国强震数据特征的核电厂判别停堆的预警参数阈值,为我国核电厂的地震安全停堆参数的确定提供了参考。  相似文献

As the forward directivity and fling effect characteristics of the near-fault ground motions, seismic response of structures in the near field of a rupturing fault can be significantly different from those observed in the far field. The unique characteristics of the near-fault ground motions can cause considerable damage during an earthquake. This paper presents results of a study aimed at evaluating the near-fault and far-fault ground motion effects on nonlinear dynamic response and seismic damage of concrete gravity dams including dam-reservoir-foundation interaction. For this purpose, 10 as-recorded earthquake records which display ground motions with an apparent velocity pulse are selected to represent the near-fault ground motion characteristics. The earthquake ground motions recorded at the same site from other events that the epicenter far away from the site are employed as the far-fault ground motions. The Koyna gravity dam, which is selected as a numerical application, is subjected to a set of as-recorded near-fault and far-fault strong ground motion records. The Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP) model including the strain hardening or softening behavior is employed in nonlinear analysis. Nonlinear dynamic response and seismic damage analyses of the selected concrete dam subjected to both near-fault and far-fault ground motions are performed. Both local and global damage indices are established as the response parameters. The results obtained from the analyses of the dam subjected to each fault effect are compared with each other. It is seen from the analysis results that the near-fault ground motions, which have significant influence on the dynamic response of dam–reservoir–foundation systems, have the potential to cause more severe damage to the dam body than far-fault ground motions.  相似文献

我国地震监测台网间距大,很难实现大震发生时地震烈度分布图的快速编制.基于随机方法,利用历史小震数据反演地震动估计模型的参数,参考地震发生时获取的少量强震动数据,选取合适的震源参数,正演地震动场的分布.根据地震烈度与地震动参数的经验关系,实现地震烈度速报.本方法可以模拟大震的近断层地震动特征,对高烈度区的判断较目前常用的烈度速报方法更为合理.研究成果既可以用于首张烈度分布图的发布,还能够用于地震烈度的动态修正.  相似文献

随着强震台网的密布及观测记录的增加,为研究各类局部场地地震反应预测模型的合理性提供了有效的参考依据,也使利用强震记录及场地条件研究地震动特征成为可能。选取场地地质参数资料和地震记录数据齐全的日本小田原(Ashigara Valley)盲测试验场地,通过对比不同地震动输入方式及场地反应分析模型,研究地震动特征,分析现有模型的优劣。基于1990年8月5日M5.1强震事件的地表基岩记录和地下基岩地震记录,采用地下台强震记录直接输入、地表基岩台强震记录减半为基底地震动输入、地表基岩台强震记录反演为基底地震动输入作为3种基岩地震动输入。基于局部场地条件分别建立一维等效线性模型、二维黏弹性模型及二维时域等效线性化模型等工程中常用的场地数值分析模型,进行局部场地地震反应分析,预测该盲测场地的地表地震动特征,并与对应的实测强震记录结果进行对比,分析不同基岩地震动输入方式对预测地震动特征及地表土层反应谱特征的影响,重点分析地震动输入、土体非线性、场地横向不均匀性及几何与非线性特征共同作用等因素对地表地震动特征的影响,以期为地表地震动的合理预测提供参考。  相似文献

本文随机选取了100条具有不同地震动峰值特征参数的地震动记录,通过基线校正、积分等方法获取每条地震动的峰值加速度(PGA)、峰值速度(PGV)和峰值位移(PGD)三个参数,进而基于有限元数值模拟,通过对比同一个观测点不同峰值特征参数的特性与不同观测点同一峰值特征参数的特性来研究土坡的地震响应规律,分析各地震动峰值特征参数与土坡地震响应的相关性。计算结果表明:PGA,PGV和PGD与土坡地震响应都具有良好的正相关性,其相关性系数平均值分别为0.868,0.981,0.926;PGV的相关性优于PGA和PGD,而PGD的相关性要稍好于PGA。因此在关于土坡稳定性评价中,建议采用PGV作为参数指标。   相似文献

实际记录到的真实地震动在工程结构的抗震研究、分析和设计中往往作为一种施加到结构上使结构振动,直至破坏的地震荷载.如何合理选择真实的地震动记录作为研究结构地震反应的输入,一直是国内外抗震研究和设计中引人关注的重要问题.本文首先提出了最不利设计地震动的概念;然后在收集到的国内外5000余条被认为有重要意义的地震动记录基础上,利用综合估计地震动潜在破坏势的方法,对4种场地类型分别给出了长周期、短周期和中周期结构的国内外最不利设计地震动;最后通过几类不同结构的地震反应分析,初步验证了本文所确定的最不利设计地震动的可靠性和合理性.   相似文献

How to select the adequate real strong earthquake ground motion for seismic analysis and design of trucures is an essential problem in earthquake engineering research and practice.In the paper the concept of the severest design ground motion is proposed and a method is developed for comparing the severity of the recorded strong ground motions.By using this method the severest earthquake ground motions are selected out as seismic inputs to the structures to be designed from a database that consists of more than five thousand significant strong ground moton records collected over the world.The selected severest ground motions are very likely to be able to drive the structures to their critical response and thereby result in the highest damage potential.It is noted that for different structures with diffferent predominant natural periods and at different sites where structures are located the severest design ground motions are usually different.Finally.two examples are illustrated to demonstrate the rationality of the concept and the reliability of the selected design motion.  相似文献

如何估计和比较地震动对结构的破坏作用,一直是国内外抗震研究中的一个至关重要的问题。本主要篇幅用于介绍这一领域迄今所取得的成果并作了简单的评述,并在此基础上,提出了一种可用来比较地震动潜在破坏势的综合评估法,提出该方法的目的并不在意去确定什么量更能代表地震动在潜在破坏势,而只是在考察现有的各种被认为能代表地震动的潜在破坏势的各种参数基础上,考虑采用什么方法才能更合理地判定和比较地震动的破坏势,为此本将通常作为地震动潜在破坏势的地震动参数分成两类:一类为直接由地震动本身得到的参数,另一类为地震动通过结构反应得到的参数,并分别对此进行了讨论和分析,在此基础上得出了一种在目前可认为是研究地震动潜在破坏势押送为合理的方法-地震动潜在破坏势综合评价法。  相似文献

以某典型的20层钢筋混凝土框架剪力墙结构作为研究对象,研究基于性能的RC框架剪力墙结构易损性分析方法。首先选择合适的地震动记录,以0.2g为步长进行调幅后,建立300个结构-地震动样本空间,并确定结构损伤指标和性能参数;然后应用增量动力分析方法计算结构的地震动力响应,选择基本周期加速度反应谱为地震动参数,以研究结构反应的不确定性,并深入分析地震动参数与结构地震需求参数的关系;在此基础上,建立该结构基于加速度反应谱的易损性曲线进行结构易损性分析与评估。结果表明:随着地震动强度的增大,IDA曲线由单调增加变为非单调增加,分位曲线(16%,50%和84%)可以准确地衡量结构的性能;框剪结构在地震作用下的抗震性能表现良好,随着地震强度的增长,各性能超越概率大小的增长速度是不同的。  相似文献

2013年4月20日四川芦山7.0级地震发生在龙门山断裂带南段,该地震是继汶川8.0级地震后的1次强震,但并非余震。文中利用2013年4月20日芦山地震的强震记录计算等效峰值加速度A0.5换算地震仪器烈度,并且将地震仪器烈度与强震台站周边5km内调查点烈度对比分析。结果表明,芦山地震的仪器烈度与周边调查点烈度吻合度58.6%,且偏差不超过1度。然而,即使宏观烈度相同,观测地面运动参数也存在较大离散度。但在缺少现场调查的震后初期,地震仪器烈度有可能为地震烈度范围判断提供定量的参考指标。  相似文献

The first part of this article describes some strong motion acceleration parameters of seismic excitations. Furthermore, a classification of the ground motions at a site according to their damage potential is presented. The second part deals with a nonlinear dynamic analysis of a six storey reinforced concrete plane frame. Damage indicators in the form of cross sectional ductility demand are evaluated and correlated with the strong motion characteristics. The aim is to extract among the several seismic parameters, those which have drastic affection on the damage indicators of the structures. The attention is focused on earthquake acceleration time histories, recorded in Greece, Central and North America, which are well-known sites with strong seismic activity.  相似文献

The seismic vulnerability index(Kg) is a parameter that depends on the dynamic properties of soil. With this parameter, it is possible to evaluate the vulnerability of a point-based site under strong ground motion. Since it is related to the natural vibration period and amplification factor, the parameter can be calculated for both soil and structure. In this study, HVSR microtremor measurements are recorded at more than 200 points in the Van region to generate a seismic vulnerability index map. After generating the map, it is determined that the hazard potential and seismic vulnerability index is high at the sites close to Van Lake and at the densely populated city center. Damage information of the buildings investigated after the 2011 Van earthquakes(Mw = 7.1) are placed on the seismic vulnerability index map and it is realized that there may be a correlation between the damage and the seismic vulnerability index. There is a high correlation, approximately 80 percent, between the damage rate map based on the damaged building data and the K_g values. In addition, vulnerability indexes of buildings are calculated and the effect of local soil conditions and building properties on the damage levels are determined. From the results of this study and the site observations after the 2011 Van earthquakes, it is found that structural damage is not only structure-dependent but is also related to the dynamic behavior of soil layers and local soil conditions.  相似文献
