从Sloan数字巡天(Sloan Digital Sky Survey)第二批释放的数据(Data ReleaseTwo,简称DR2)中,选择了395个在r波段亮于15等的晚型旋涡星系作为样本,研究了这些星系及其盘的颜色星等关系.结果表明晚型旋涡星系及其盘的三个颜色g-r,r-z和g-z均与r波段的绝对星等有紧密的相关关系,越亮的星系(或盘),颜色越红,而且星系的相关性比盘的更强.  相似文献

4C 38.41是一颗红移为1.813、可分类为平谱射电类星体的耀变体,使用一台85 cm望远镜在2018年2月22日至26日期间对其进行了光学V和R波段测光观测,得到两个波段的准同时数据.基于这些数据分析了该源在不同光变时标下的光变特性.结果表明:这颗源在观测期间处于较弱的活动状态, V和R波段星等(V, R)总变化均约为0.20等.在天内时标下,其中3晚探测到了该源的天内光变,另有一晚可能存在天内光变.此外,通过色指数和时延分析发现4C 38.41在不同时标下都展现越亮越红行为,与大多数平谱射电类星体类似,但在最后一晚4C 38.41在颜色-星等图上呈现出v字形,即首先展现越亮越红行为,然后转变为越亮越蓝行为,这可能是由该源的辐射在吸积盘主导和喷流主导之间的转换造成的.此外在第2晚探测到了V、R波段之间的时延,这是首次在高红移耀变体中探测到不同光学波段光变之间的时延,可以用随机同步辐射小结构模型来解释.  相似文献

从Sloan巡天第二批释放的数据(Sloan Digital Sky Survey, Data Release Two)中选择了395个在r波段亮于15 mag的晚型旋涡星系作为样本,对样本星系的表面亮度轮廓进行一维两成分(核球与盘)拟合,并着重讨论了盘的颜色梯度,分别用Δc/ΔR和Δc/Δlg R两种形式来拟合。结果表明,对于波长相距较大的颜色r-z和g-z,颜色梯度更符合Δc/ΔR为常数的线性变化形式,而g-r则符合Δc/ΔlgR为线性的情形;用Δc/ΔlgR拟合的梯度值分别为Δ(9-r)/ΔlgR=-0.152±0.010,Δ(r-z)/ΔlgR=-0.377±0.019,Δ(g-z)/ΔlgR=-0.590±0.026,均与前人的研究结果一致。  相似文献

盘星系的内禀扁度对计算星系的空间倾角非常重要.对从LEDA数据库中选取的14988个盘星系进行内禀扁度的统计分析.研究表明,盘星系的内禀扁度与星系的形态密切相关.整体上说,透镜星系和不规则星系的内禀扁度qo大于旋涡星系,早型旋涡星系的内禀扁度qo大于晚型旋涡星系,其中Scd星系的内禀扁度qo最小.利用所得的qo-T关系,还对16个已知倾角的亮星系进行了倾角计算,发现与其他方法估计的空间倾角符合得较好.  相似文献

利用星系解构软件GALFIT通过面亮度轮廓拟合对近邻早型旋涡星系M81 (NGC 3031)进行形态学解构,旨在探究M81星系的结构组成并对其进行形态学量化.通过6种解构模式,对M81进行了不同复杂程度的结构分解,其中最复杂的解构模式包含核球、盘、外旋臂、内旋臂、星系核5个子结构.研究结果显示, M81有一个Sérsic指数约为5.0的经典核球,其形态和光度在不同解构模式中均保持稳定; M81星系盘的Sérsic指数约为1.2,但它的形态参数和光度与是否分解内旋臂相关.不同子结构的组合对作为混合体的星系整体的形态有不可忽视的影响.星系解构的结果提供了不同解构模式适用性的建议:其中核球+盘+星系核的三成分解构适用于大样本星系的核-盘研究;而考虑旋臂的复杂解构则适合于对星系子结构的精确测量,如小样本(或个源)研究.基于Spitzer-The Infrared Array Camera (IRAC) 4.5μm的单波段图像的形态学解构研究是后续一系列研究的开始,在此基础上未来将会对M81进行多波段解构,同时研究不同子结构的光谱能量分布和星族性质,并推断M81各子结构的形成历史和演化过程.  相似文献

在Sloan数字巡天计划第二批释放的数据中选择了15257个面向的盘状星系,统计研究它们的颜色星等关系.结果表明3个颜色g-r、r-i、r-z均与r波段的绝对星等有紧密的相关关系,即:越亮的星系,颜色越红,而且色指数弥散越小.并且简单讨论了观测到的颜色星等关系对盘状星系的恒星形成历史的约束.  相似文献

面向类(face-on)旋涡星系盘的有效厚度或标高不能通过表面亮度测光的方式测量.为了获得面向类旋涡星系盘的厚度参数,将基于三维星系盘引力势Poisson方程在等角对数螺旋型物质密度扰动情形下的解,运用一种解析法对面向类旋涡星系盘的标高进行测算.为了去除星系核球的光污染而获得旋臂最内点位置(r0)的重要参数,使用了在星系观测图像中扣除双成份(盘+核球)测光模型的图像处理方法.通过对旋涡星系相关结构参数的拟合测量,各得到了一个普通旋涡星系(S)与棒旋星系(SB)的有效厚度与相关参数,并给出了它们的球盘比(rb/rd)和星系盘的标长与厚度之比(rd/H).采用这种在观测图像中扣除双成份测光模型的方法,将更容易看清旋臂结构的最内端,因而这里获得的禁区半径r0的数值往往比从原星系图像上直接测量的数值要小,获得的星系盘有效厚度将更薄.  相似文献

基于NASA/IPAC河外星系数据库(NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database,NED)和Sloan数字巡天(Sloan Digital Sky Survey,SDSS)第8次释放的数据(The Eighth Data Release,DR8),对星系团Abell 85(以下简称A85)的2倍动力学特征半径2r_(200)内的光度函数(Luminosity Function,LF)进行了研究.研究表明,A85的光度函数在Sloan巡天5个波段用Schechter函数均能拟合得很好.在u、g和z波段光度函数都显示出1个下凹.早型星系r波段的两个最佳拟合参数(r波段特征绝对星等和暗端的陡度)分别为M_r~*=-21.14_(-0.17)~(+0.17)mag,α=-0.83_(-0.14)~(+0.12),晚型星系为M_r~*=-21.98_(-0.98)~(+0.84)mag,α=-1.5_(-0.35)~(+0.24).早型星系的特征星等暗于晚型星系,而暗端比晚型星系要平坦得多.早型星系的光度函数在-20.5~-20.0 mag下凹.将1.5r_(200)范围内的星系按距离团中心的远近划分为3个环状区域,发现距离团中心越近,光度函数的暗端越陡,特征星等越亮.  相似文献

旋涡星系的颜色梯度反映了其星族构成沿径向的分布,包含了星系恒星形成历史的信息.因此,对旋涡星系颜色梯度的研究有助于理解星系的形成和演化过程.大部分旋涡星系存在负的颜色梯度,其主要原因是旋涡星系存在星族梯度.颜色梯度与星系的面亮度之间存在内禀的相关,表明质量面密度在星系的形成和演化过程中具有重要作用.  相似文献

挑选Sloan数字巡天第7次释放数据(SDSS DR7)的主星系样本中近邻的、面向的盘状星系作为星系样本,统计研究了在恒星总质量相等的情况下盘状星系的颜色和尺度之间的相关性,并对相关性的真实性进行了检验.发现对于同等质量的盘状星系,u-r颜色与尺度相关性很弱,而g-r、r-i、r-z颜色与尺度负相关,即星系的尺度越大,颜色越蓝.该结果意味着盘状星系的质量分布对其恒星形成历史影响很大,物质分布越延展的星系,其演化越慢.  相似文献

From the second group of the data released by the Sloan numerical patrol survey (SDSS DR2), 395 face-on late-type spiral galaxies brighter than 15-th magnitude in the waveband r are selected as the sample. The relations between the color gradients and structural parameters of disks are studied. The results indicate the following: (1) The color gradient is independent of the absolute magnitude (mass) of the disk. (2) The color gradient of disk is concerned with the size of disk. The larger the disk, the steeper the color gradient. (3) The color gradient of disk is concerned with the color of disk. The bluer the disk color, the steeper the gradient. (4) The color gradient of disk is related with the surface brightness of disk. The brighter the disk, the steeper the color gradient. Moreover, the historical constraint formed by the relations between the color gradients of disks and various structural parameters is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The magnetic viscosity tensor is derived for a magnetized relativistic collisionless plasma with temperature gradients. By means of this tensor we deduce the nonlinear equations for drift–Alfvén waves in a relativistic electron-positron low plasma with density and temperature gradients. It is shown that our new equations have solutions in the form of dipolar vortices. The present results should be relevant to a number of astrophysical objects with strong electron-positron pair production, e.g. in pulsars as well as in accretion disks and jets.  相似文献

In this work, we model the expected molecular emission from protoplanetary disks, modifying different physical parameters, such as dust grain size, mass accretion rate, viscosity, and disk radius, to obtain observational signatures in these sources. Having in mind possible future observations, we study correlations between physical parameters and observational characteristics. Our aim is to determine the kind of observations that will allow us to extract information about the physical parameters of disks. We also present prospects for molecular line observations of protoplanetary disks, using millimeter and submillimeter interferometers (e.g., SMA or ALMA), based on our results.  相似文献

We study the long-term variations of Balmer line profiles due to global one-armed oscillations in Be-star disks. In order to examine the qualitative effects of oscillations on line profiles, we assume that the eigenfunctions of one-armed nonlinear oscillations are similar to those of linear oscillations. Computing the line profiles for various values of disk parameters, we find that in small disks or in disks with steep density gradients the one-armed fundamental modes cause remarkable variabilities similar to the observedV/R variations.  相似文献

Optical photometric observations at the I and R wavebands were carried out towards Mkn501 using the 1.56 meter optical telescope of Shanghai Astronomical Observatory at Sheshan. Combining our new observations with the published historical data, we have obtained the light curves of Mkn501 at the optical, infrared and radio wavebands with a time coverage of nearly 80 years. The relationship between the light variability and the color index is discussed, it is found that a strong correlation exists between the color indices (BV) and (BR), with the correlation coefficient reaching r = 0.73. The correlations of multi-band light variabilities are analyzed by the DCF method, it is found that certain positive correlations of B-band light variability with the 4.8 GHz and infrared light variabilities exist. And the spectral analysis on the B-band light curve with the CLEANest method indicates that the light curve of Mkn501 contains probably two periodical components of (10.06 ± 0.04) yr and (21.60 ± 0.17) yr.  相似文献

Stellar velocity dispersion data at galactocentric distance of two disk radial scale lengths (R = 2h), available in the literature allowed us to determine the upper limits of disk local surface densities at a given R and (by extrapolation) total masses of disks proceeding from the marginal gravitational stability condition. A comparison of the obtained disk masses with the photometric estimates based on the stellar population models indicates the absence of strong dynamical overheating inmost spiral galaxies and hence the absence of significant major merging events, which were able to heat dynamically the inner parts of disks. The same conclusion is valid for some of S0 galaxies. However, a significant part of the latter possesses stellar velocity dispersion, which exceeds the threshold value needed for gravitational stability. Dynamically overheated disks occur both among paired and isolated galaxies. Disk to total mass ratios within R = 4h found for marginally stable disks in most cases lie in the range 0.5–0.8 with the absence of the clearly defined correlation of this ratio with color index or morphological type.  相似文献

Historical optical data are combined on the BL Lac object OQ 530.Verifying the existence of correlations among the flux variations in different bands serves as an important tool to investigate emission processes.To examine the possible existence of a lag between variations in different optical bands from this source,a statistical analysis is performed through the discrete correlation function(DCF)method and the z-transformed discrete correlation function(ZDCF)method.Monte Carlo simulations called"flux redistribution/random subset selection"(FR/RSS)are performed to obtain statistically meaningful values for the cross-correlation time lags and their related uncertainties.The analysis confirms that the variations in different optical light curves are strongly correlated,with zero-lag within the errors.Long term variability of color indexes is also analyzed.The result suggests a strong correlation between color index and brightness.A clear bluer-when-brighter chromatism is found,in the sense that the spectrum steepens as the brightness decreases.  相似文献

The local face-on disk galaxies are selected as galaxy sample from the main galaxy sample of the Seventh Data Release of Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS DR7). The correlations between the colors and sizes of disk galaxies with equivalent total stellar masses are statistically investigated and their realities are tested. It is found that for the disk galaxies with equivalent masses, the correlation between u-r color and size is very weak. However, there are anticorrelations between g-r, r-i, r-z colors and sizes, i.e., the larger are the sizes of galaxies, the bluer are their colors. This result means that the mass distribution of disk galaxies has a significant influence on their star formation history. The galaxies with more extended mass distributions evolve more slowly.  相似文献

We present a numerical check of the collisional resurfacing (CR) hypothesis proposed to explain the observed color diversity within the Kuiper Belt (where surface reddening due to space weathering is counteracted by regular resurfacing of neutral material after mutual collisions). Deterministic simulations are performed in order to estimate the relative spatial distribution of kinetic energy received by collisions, , for a population of target Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs) embedded in a swarm of impactors distributed within the belt. Four different impactor disks have been considered, depending on the excitation and the external limit of the belt and the density of the scattered KBOs (SKBOs) population. The obtained results are compared to the relative color index distribution within the observed Kuiper Belt, in order to derive possible similarities between the high vs low objects spatial distribution in our simulations and the bluer vs redder KBOs distribution in the “real” Kuiper Belt. Such similarities are found for several important features, in particular the general correlations between highly impacted objects and high rms excitation and low perihelion q values that are in good agreement with equivalent correlations found for the bluest objects of the observed belt. Nevertheless, simulations disagree with observations on two crucial points. (1) The plutinos are significantly more collisionally affected than the rest of our test KBO population, whereas there is no observed tendency toward bluer plutinos. (2) There is always a much stronger correlation between and eccentricities than inclinations, whereas observations show just the opposite feature. The presence of numerous SKBO impactors could significantly damp these problematic features, but cannot erase them. Whether these contradictions invalidate the whole CR scenario or not remains yet uncertain, since the physical processes at play are still far from being fully understood and the sample of available observational data is still relatively limited. But it seems nevertheless that the scenario might not hold in its simple present form.  相似文献
