河北宣化盆地南缘断裂的古地震遗迹   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:4  
通过开挖,在宣化盆地南缘断裂上揭露出3次古地震事件,发生的年代分别距今约8.54、7.08和5.31ka,平均重复间隔1615±360a。事件位移量分别为0.55~0.74m、0.52~0.7m和1.63~2.2m。但距今5.31ka以来断裂未发生过断错地表的运动,意味着其古地震重复不是简单的准周期型  相似文献

对富蕴地震断裂带9处不同地段的平板地质测量结果表明:北部引张段地震断裂 带宽约220m,断坎平均高0.4m;中部主体走滑段地震断层长达535m以上,断层水平位移为1.8 ̄7.8m断坎高0.4 ̄1.2m,水平位移与垂直位移之比为5.7 ̄8.6;南部末端破裂段地震抛掷巨石距离达40m,地震断层水平位移为0.4 ̄9.9m,断坎平均高0.2m,末端及副断层水平位移与垂直位移之比高达25 ̄28。  相似文献

本文根据野外考察、实测和开挖资料,研究了1668年郯城8.5级地震断裂的水平和垂直位移及古地震标志和证据、全新世位移分布和滑动速率、古地震遗迹、古地震期次、强震复发周期以及地震破裂模式。研究结果表明,沿1668年郯城8.5级地震断裂上的全新世位移分布与1668年郯城地震破裂位移分布具有良好的同步性和分级特征。破裂位移和滑动速率在空间上是变化的,水平滑动速率在1.7~2.8毫米/年范围内变化,垂直位移速率在0.2~0.5毫米/年范围内波动,水平位移量与垂直位移量比为6~8倍。沿郯城地震断裂全新世发生了4次强震事件,8级大震具有准周期重复特征,郯城地震断裂上发生的地震拟合了特征地震模式。本文归纳总结出来的鉴别断裂水平和垂直位移及古地震事件的标志和准则,对活断层和古地震的深入研究有一定的借鉴意义。  相似文献

通过大探槽开挖和断层陡坎分析,揭示出发生于1679年8级地震的新夏垫断层自距今约2万a以来共发生了4次地震事件。前两次为砂体液化显示的事件;后两次为可见直接断错证据的事件。分析得到的1679年地震最大垂直位移为1.75m,前1679年事件为1.41m,是两次震级非常接近的特征地震。4次事件发生的时间分别为距今约20000,13000,7500和317a,平均重复间隔时间为(6561±691)a,显示了准周期重复的特征  相似文献

北京平原南口-孙河断裂带昌平旧县探槽古地震事件研究   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
报道了南口-孙河断裂昌平旧县探槽揭露的丰富的构造变形现象和古地震事件的分期、间隔及同震垂直位移.研究结果表明,全新世时期该断裂曾发生3次古地震事件,它们分别发生在距今(10643± 250)a—(970±1235)a,(7894±150)a—(764±650)a及(3987±100)a-(367±310)8,同震垂直位移分别为1m,2 m,2 m.依据华北地区历史地震震级与地震地表位错的统计公式,推测相应震级为7.7及7.9级.该探槽研究结果表明,依据微地貌线索,在平原区仍可通过探槽了解断裂全新世活动,并有可能在探槽中见到丰富的细微构造现象.该项研究得到的南口-孙河断裂在全新世存在古地震的认识将对北京地区未来的地震危险性评估有重要意义.  相似文献

采用几种方法分析了大同地震后华北地区的地震形势。根据地震活动和构造特征划分了研究区域,用作者提出的灰色线性预测模型及可公度性预测了发震时间,用作者提出的多点测位法预测了地震危险区并用近百年大陆地震活动特征估计了震级。综合分析结果认为,1995~1996年华北发生MS≥5.5地震的概率为Pt{1995~1966}=7/11~8/11,地震危险区位于晋东南的概率为PS=7/8~1。  相似文献

以祁连山为研究区,以上限震级7.5和8.0的潜源为特征地震段,利用滑动速率法分别计算上述每个潜源中7.0~7.4级,7.5~7.9级地震的复发间隔。特征地震选用NB模型条件概率和NB累积概率模型,中强震采用中国地震区划图(1990)的分档泊松模型,组成混合地震模型,用中国西部椭圆地震衰减公式,计算了未来50a,超越概率为10%的地震烈度。计算结果认为累积概率模型当地震离逝时间长而潜源面积小时影响大,面积大的潜源应进一步考虑潜源的稀释问题  相似文献

本文对鲜水河断裂带南东段,康定断裂地震的形变带进行了分析。认为,地震形变带主要由发育于地形斜坡上的线性坡中槽或垄岗组成。形变带具分段特点,单条长850—1500米,呈右阶“斜列式”展布,中段(极震区)一带为现状型。其中的破裂面具正断兼扭动特点。空间特征上,坡中槽一侧的交替上升变化是依次、轮换出现的,它是地震断层运动屈曲作用(Fault buckling)导致地表变形的反映。这种形变现象与该带北西段(炉霍段)走滑型地震的形变带相比有明显的差异,也表明鲜水河断裂带北西、南东两段的地震破裂方式是不尽相同的,它为同一走滑带不同地段运动特征的差异提供了证据。  相似文献

As the most active intracontinental orogenic belt in the world, the Tianshan orogenic belt has complex and diverse internal structural deformation patterns, and among them, the particularly striking is the linear straight U-type valley landscapes which cut inside the mountains by multiple NW-SE and ENE-WSW strike-slip faults. Many of the modern strong earthquakes in Tianshan orogenic belt are closely related to these strike-slip faults. Therefore, it is important to elaborate the activity characteristics of these faults to understand the deformation process inside the Tianshan Mountains belt. This paper focuses on one of the NW-SE right-lateral strike-slip fault (the Kaiduhe Fault), which lies inside the southeastern Tianshan. Typical offset landforms and scarp lineaments on the western segment of the Kaiduhe Fault can be used to study the activity characteristics and strike-slip rate. In particular, the fault cuts through the late Quaternary alluvial fans and a series of river gullies were right-laterally faulted, producing dextral offsets ranging from 3 to 248m. A digital elevation model (DEM)with resolution of 0.25m was established by using multi-angle photogrammetry technique to stripe about 12km linear tectonic landforms along the Kaiduhe Fault. Geological and geomorphic mapping in DEM with 22 high-resolution dextral offset measurements reveals that the dextral offsets can be divide into four groups of 3.5m, 7.0m, 11.8m and 14.5m. It is presumed from the approximately uniformly-spaced offsets that the coseismic offset was 3~4m. In addition, the exposure age of an older alluvial fan surface was about 235.7ka by in situ 10Be terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide method. Combining the exposure ages and the maximum dextral offset of 248m, we found that the strike-slip rate of the Kaiduhe Fault is about 1mm/a. It is found by this study that the Kaiduhe Fault plays an important role in regulating SN compression deformation within Tianshan Mountains, and it should also be the main stress-strain accumulation area which has the risk of occurrence of strong earthquake.  相似文献

焉耆盆地是塔里木盆地东北缘天山山间的重要坳陷区,盆地北缘发育的和静逆断裂-褶皱带是一条现今活动强烈的逆断裂-褶皱带,对其第四纪以来缩短量和隆升量的计算有利于分析该区域的构造活动情况,对缩短速率和隆升速率的估计可以与天山造山带其他区域的活动速率进行横向对比,从而反映出焉耆盆地在天山晚新生代构造变形的作用。在深部资料不足的情况下,对背斜形态完整、构造样式简单的和静逆断裂-褶皱带,利用地表可获得的地层和断层产状,通过恢复褶皱几何形态,计算褶皱的缩短量、隆升量和断层滑动量,得到逆断裂-褶皱带早更新世晚期(1.8Ma)、中更新世(780ka)和晚更新世中期(80ka)以来的缩短量分别为1.79km、0.88km和26m,初步估计的缩短速率分别为0.99mm/a、1.13mm/a和0.33mm/a。显示和静逆断裂-褶皱带自开始形成以来构造活动强度并不一致。与地壳形变观测结果对比,作为南天山东段最主要的坳陷区,焉耆盆地吸收了这一区域(86°~88°E)的大部分地壳缩短,且主要表现为盆地北缘新生逆断裂-褶皱带的强烈变形。  相似文献

根据形变测量资料和有关实验结果以及某些地震前兆特征,本文提出了一种在粘弹性介质半空间中断层滑动面沿断裂带走向扩展,即断层蠕动传播的力学模型.为了研究其附近的形变特征,导出了蠕动传播所产生位移场的解析表达式,并通过数值积分计算了在广义开尔文介质中,滑动时间函数为△U=B(1-e-t/T),而蠕动事件沿断裂带单侧和双侧传播导致的附近介质位移的时空分布.根据1976年唐山地震前沧东断裂带上的短周期测量资料并参考模型所得出的结果,对震前的断层运动作了反推.结果表明,地震前沿沧东断裂带发生过明显的蠕动传播,其初始蠕动发生在小站和沧州之间,随后蠕动沿着断裂带向东北和西南传播,向西南扩展的滑动面是顺扭走滑运动,向东北扩展的滑动面以顺扭走滑运动为主并略有压性倾滑运动分量.   相似文献

The giant sinistral Altyn Tagh Fault(ATF)is the northern boundary of the Tibetan Plateau. It has been playing important role in adjusting the India-Eurasia collision and the tectonic evolution of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. Knowledge of the evolution of the ATF can provide comprehensive understanding of the processes and mechanisms of the deformation of the Tibetan Plateau. However, its timing of commencement, amount of displacement and strike-slip rate, as well as the tectonic evolution of the region are still under debate. South of the ATF, there exist a series of oroclinal-like arcuate structures. Knowledge of whether these curved geometries represent original curvatures or the bending of originally straight/aligned geological units has significant tectonic implications for the evolution of the ATF. The Yingxiongling arcuate belt in the western Qaidam Basin and the northern Qaidam marginal thrust belt(NQMTB)north of the Qaidam Basin are the two typical arcuate thrust belts, where the former has a "7-types" structure, and the latter has a reverse "S-type" structure. Successive Cenozoic sediments are well exposed and magnetostratigraphically dated in both belts. Paleomagnetic declination has great advantage to reveal vertical-axis rotations of geological bodies since they become magnetized. Recently conducted paleomagnetic rotation studies in different parts of these two thrust belts revealed detailed Cenozoic rotation patterns and magnitudes of the region. By integrating these paleomagnetic rotation results with regional geometric features and lines of geological evidence, we propose that these two arcuate thrust belts were most likely caused by different rotations in different parts of these curvatures, due to the sinistral strike-slip faulting along the ATF, rather than originally curved ones. The Yingxiongling arcuate belt was shaped by the significant counterclockwise(CCW)rotations of its northwestern half(the Akatengnengshan anticline)near the ATF during~16~11Ma BP, while its southeastern half(the Youshashan anticline)had no significant rotations since at least~20Ma BP. The geometry of the NQMTB was developed firstly by remarkable clockwise rotations of its middle part during~33~14Ma BP, and later possibly CCW rotations of its northwestern part during the Middle to Late Miocene, similar to that of the northwestern part of the Yingxiongling arcuate belt. The characteristics of two-stage strike-slip evolution of the ATF since the Early Oligocene were enriched:1)During the Early Oligocene to mid-Miocene, fast strike-slip faulting along the ATF was proposed to accommodate the eastward extrusion of the northern Tibetan Plateau with its sinistral shear confined to the fault itself. While in the NQMTB and farther east area in the Qilian Shan, its sinistral shear was transferred to the interior of the plateau and was accommodated by deformation of differential crustal shortenings and block rotations in these regions. Thus, the displacement along the ATF west of the NQMTB is larger than that east of the NQMTB. 2)Since the mid-late Miocene, sinistral shear of the ATF was widespread distributed within the northern Tibetan Plateau, instead of concentrated to the fault itself. Its sinistral offsets were partially absorbed by the shortening deformation within the Qaidam Basin and the Qilian Shan, leading the offsets along the ATF decreasing to the east. With the sinistral frictional drag of blocks(the Tarim Basin and the Altyn Tagh Range)on the other side during the second stage evolution of the ATF, a transitional zone south of the ATF was likely developed by remarkable CCW rotations during the Middle to Late Miocene, which is probably confined to east of the Tula syncline. Combining the sinistral offsets along the ATF derived from the paleomagnetic rotations during the Early Oligocene to mid-late Miocene and that by piercing points since the Late Miocene, the post Oligocene strike-slip offsets were constrained as at least~350~430km for the reference in the western Qaidam Basin and~380~460km for the reference in the NQMTB, with an average slip rate of at least~10.6~13.9mm/a. The post Early Oligocene offsets are consistent with the widely accepted offsets of~300~500km obtained by piercing point analyses.  相似文献

对川东弧形褶皱带北段、中段和南段的三条剖面,进行了7件样品的磷灰石裂变径迹(AFT)测试,结合前人已发表的4件样品,分析模拟了主要背斜的隆升-剥露热历史.结果表明川东弧形带主体构造变形时间为135→65 Ma,即早白垩世早期到晚白垩世晚期.进而建立并对比了三条剖面的构造变形时序,揭示出川东弧形带的三维构造扩展历史:(1) 平行于构造线走向,表现为从中心向两翼的构造扩展,弧形带中段的构造变形最早,起始时间为早白垩世早期(约135 Ma),北段和南段的变形较晚,起始时间为早白垩世晚期(约100 Ma);(2) 垂直于构造线走向,在弧形带北段和中段均表现为由东向西的构造扩展,而在弧形带南段,由于受到前缘华蓥山断裂的影响,表现为自西向东的变形时序.川东弧形带的三维构造扩展历史暗示了"弯山构造"的成因模式,以及华蓥山先存断裂对弧形构造的限制作用.  相似文献

The Langshan range-front fault (LRF)is a Holocene active normal fault that bounds the Langshan Mountain and Hetao Basin at the northwest corner of the Ordos Plateau. Paleoseismic trenching research at three sites, Dongshen Village trench (TC1), Qingshan trench (TC2)and Wulanhashao trench (TC3)from north to south was performed in this study to reveal the seismic hazard risk in Hetao Basin. The paleoevents ED1, ED2, ED3 from TC1 can be constrained to have occurred (6±1.3)ka, (9.6±2)ka and (19.7±4.2)ka respectively, while the paleoevent EQ1 from TC2 occurred about (6.7±0.1)ka and the paleoevents EW1, EW2, EW3 at TC3 took place about (2.3±0.4)ka, (6±1)ka and before 7ka respectively. In combination with paleoseismic results of previous researchers, the Holocene earthquake sequence of the LRF could be established as 2.3~2.43ka BP (E1), 4.41~3.06ka BP (E2), 6.71~6.8ka BP (E3), 7.6~9.81ka BP (E4), and (19.7±4.2)ka BP (E5). Although the possibility of missing events cannot totally be ruled out, based on the analysis on faulted geomorphology at Wulanhashao site, we argue the paleoearthquake history of the LRF during Holocene may be complete with an average recurrent interval about 2500 yrs. The apparent displacements associated with events E1, E3 and E4 are significantly larger than that of event, E2, that suggests that they might be great events with magnitudes 7.5 to even over 8 that ruptured the entire LRF, while the event E2 may be a smaller event that only ruptured a segment of the fault. The magnitude of event E2 might be about M7. This poses a significant seismic hazard to the area of the Linhe depression in the western Hetao graben region. With the further limitation of previous radiocarbon dating result near our trench site at Wulanhashao, the slip rate at Wulanhashao should be not smaller than, but close to 0.66mm/a since 15ka BP. And the slip rate at Qingshan site is supposed to be about 1.4~1.6mm/a since 6.8ka BP. Both our combined most recent paleoseismic cognition and current tectonic geomorphologic research results supports to reveal that the Langshan range-front fault now is an unsegmented fault, preferring to rupture the whole fault in a surface-rupture event. Considering the most recent event E1 and fault slip rate obtained above, the accumulated strain on the LRF could be estimated as about 1.52~3.94m. Given the ~2500a recurrent interval, we argue that the elapsed time since last major quake, E1, is approaching or even over the recurrence, and the seismic risk for another major quake is imminent, at least cannot be ignored.  相似文献

基于Sentinel-1 SAR升、降影像,利用D-InSAR技术获取新疆伽师M S6.4地震的同震形变场,结果表明,本次地震引起的同震形变场整体呈近椭圆状分布,形变区东西长约66 km,南北宽约40 km,整个形变场由南部隆升区和北部沉降区组成,南部最大隆升量约7 cm,北部最大沉降量约3 cm。本次地震发生在块体俯冲界面处的低倾角逆冲推覆构造带上,隆升和沉降两个中心均位于逆冲推覆体的上盘,形变主要以隆升形变为主,符合低倾角逆断层中强震的变形特征。在沉降区与隆升区之间干涉条纹连续分布,未出现表征地表破裂位置的空间失相关带,表明地震未引起明显的地表破裂。结合震源机制、余震精定位及区域构造特征,初步推断认为伽师地震的发震构造可能为柯坪塔格推覆构造前缘的N倾的柯坪断裂。  相似文献
