末次冰期-间冰期旋回朝那黄土颜色特征及古气候意义北大核心CSCD

对黄土高原中部朝那剖面末次冰期-间冰期旋回黄土-古土壤序列色度指标与磁化率对比研究后发现,亮度L*值与Hm(赤铁矿)和Gt(针铁矿)的比值相关性较好,在S0和L1阶段其与Hm和Gt的比值呈正相关,在S1阶段为负相关。红度a*与Hm和Gt的比值有较强的正相关关系,反映土壤发育时期的水热条件。而黄度b*与针铁矿的相关性较好,与低频磁化率χlf使用可以更好地反映土壤的发育程度。色度指标在变化频率和幅度上较磁化率大,能很好地识别S1阶段弱黄土-古土壤层。     

中国西北与华北地区末次冰期黄土气候记录的对比研究

选用末次冰期具有代表性的黄土高原西部区临夏塬堡黄土剖面和华北地区具有代表性的北京西山东斋堂黄土剖面,通过对这两个剖面岩性、质量磁化率、粒度中值的变化幅度、频率、量值和所反映的气候环境状况及产生这种气候状况的原因的对比分析发现:两个剖面均记录了末次冰期可与反映全球冰量变化的SPECMAP曲线对比的MIS2、MIS3和MIS4 3个阶段,尽管其反映的气候状况并不相同。如末次冰期西北和华北地区风力强度基本接近（粒度中值值基本接近）,华北地区气候更为温湿,土壤的成壤强度更高,降水量更大,而西北地区就弱很多。这可能与两个地区地处不同的气候带有关,即西北地区地处温带干旱、半干旱区,华北地区地处暖温带半湿润区,尽管两剖面同处中纬度,但西北地区的塬堡剖面深居内陆,四周多高山,来自海洋的湿润气流很少能够到达,降水量远比同纬度其他地区少的缘故。同时还表明:就磁化率指标和粒度指标而言,磁化率指标对区域气候环境变化的响应更敏感,更能准确记录反映区域的气候环境变化状况。

中国热带第四纪气候波动的海陆对比

古气候分析典型实例的对比．表明中国热带第四纪的气候波动，海域与陆域的差异主要出现在早、中更新世及末次盛冰期，而晚更新世以来直至历史时期，海陆的气候波动基本同步。中国热带万年尺度的气候变化．既受地球轨道参数的驱动，亦受季风环流的影响；千年和百年尺度的气候变化，与太阳常数本身的变化有关。     

中国第四纪冰川作用与深海氧同位素阶段的对比和厘定

随着冰期(阶)与间冰期(阶)旋回的不断细化,第四纪冰期系列与深海氧同位素阶段(MIS)对比之间所反映的问题开始逐步显现。通过中国第四纪冰期与MIS阶段对比,结合分析气候旋回与构造运动对地貌演化的控制作用,研究表明:①冰期(阶)或者间冰期(阶)发生的时段应尽可能对应于MIS的偶数或奇数阶段,有助于MIS框架下新的冰期(阶)的发现;②中更新世以来,中国第四纪冰期-间冰期旋回可能受控于100 ka轨道偏心率变化的气候大背景,昆仑冰期-倒数第二次冰期的冰川规模总体上与全球冰量变化一致。然而,末次冰期早、中期的冰川规模却与MIS所记录的全球冰量变化不尽一致,强烈显示气候与构造环境对冰川作用的影响;③目前在中国第四纪冰期划分方案中,存在着冰期系列由时间和地点双重命名的现象,建议用大理冰期、古乡冰期分别代替末次冰期和倒数第二次冰期。     

毛乌素沙地东南缘L3、S3黄土-古土壤色度特征及古气候意义

通过对毛乌素沙地东南缘的榆林横山柳树峁剖面L₃、S₃黄土-古土壤地层等间距采集的229个样品进行色度分析,并通过与碳酸钙和全氧化铁(TFe₂O₃)含量的对比研究,以期揭示毛乌素沙地东南缘地区L₃、S₃黄土-古土壤的色度特征及其与气候变化的关系。结果表明：(1)亮度L*和色调角h*的峰值出现在风沙层(L₃F、S₃F),红度a^*、黄度b^*和饱和度C^*的峰值出现在古土壤层(S₃-1、S₃-2),黄土层(L₃-1、L₃-2)的各色度参数介于风沙层与古土壤层两者之间。(2)亮度L^*受红度a^*和黄度b^*的影响较大,而受碳酸钙含量影响微弱。红度a^*和黄度b^*表现出一致...     

澧阳平原晚冰期短尺度气候变化的风成沉积物稀土元素和粒度记录

对澧阳平原SL剖面的系统采样和室内稀土元素分析、粒度分析和AMS14C年代测定,揭示了澧阳平原岗地黄土剖面成因特征,探讨了澧阳平原晚冰期短尺度的气候变化过程。结果表明,澧阳平原岗地黄土在稀土元素配分模式上与黄土高原黄土-古土壤、镇江下蜀黄土具有高度的一致性,而且岗地剖面沉积物无任何水流作用痕迹,因此表明,澧阳平原岗地黄土剖面为风成成因。粒度结果表明,SL剖面较好地记录了晚冰期短尺度的气候变化过程,SL遗址剖面自然沉积物记录了晚冰期千年尺度的气候事件,如BL事件、OlderYD事件、AL事件、YD事件。SL剖面全新世早期表现为升温阶段,9.0～8.00kaBP的彭头山文化在此区兴起,表明此时气候相当适宜,适合人类生存。     

九江市蓼花剖面末次冰期中晚期沉积的粒度端元特征与气候变化

鄱阳湖湖滨地区广泛分布着晚第四纪风沙沉积序列。在星子县沙岭沙山进行野外调查后选择蓼花剖面开展工作,测试了地质时代和粒度,对粒度结果使用端元分析模型进行研究,探讨该区域末次冰期中晚期的气候变化规律。结果显示：该剖面由湖相-古土壤-沙丘砂等沉积相叠覆堆积组成,形成于末次冰期中晚期（48.8—17.1 ka）。端元分析模型将粒度数据分解出3个不同的粒度端元,不同端元组分在垂向上呈峰谷交替的旋回变化,EM1代表粉砂端元组分,峰值对应湖相和古土壤发育时期;EM2和EM3代表中砂—粗砂端元组分,峰值对应沙丘砂发育期,这些峰谷交替变化的规律指示了末次冰期的季风演变以及气候波动变化,万年尺度上表现为LH10 (48.8—39.9 ka)和LH3～LH5 (28.1—17.1 ka)的冬季风强盛期,分别对应深海氧同位素的MIS3b和MIS2阶段。LH6～LH9 (39.9—28.1 ka)为温暖的夏季风时期,对应深海氧同位素的MIS3a阶段。这些变化与YZ洞石笋氧同位素以及格陵兰冰心有良好的对应,与全球气候变化基本一致。     

对黄土磁化率、粒度年龄模型的检验(自检)

利用临夏塬堡剖面高分辨率的黄土记录,将研究剖面土壤地层界线,即剖面2.3m处的MIS1/2的分界线年龄11.5KaBP、剖面21.4m处的MIS3/4的分界线年龄59.8KaBP组成三种节点控制年龄模式,分界线年龄的获得依据南京葫芦洞石笋气候事件年龄确定,即模式1:0KaBP⁵9.8KaBP;模式2:0KaBP¹1.5KaBP和11.5KaBP⁵9.8KaBP;模式3:11.5KaBP⁵9.8KaBP。运用磁化率年龄模型和粒度年龄模型分别计算研究剖面各个层位的地层沉积时间,结合剖面岩性和气候阶段对相同层位的计算年龄对比分析后发现:磁化率年龄模型和粒度年龄模型均存在缺陷,但以模式2作为节点控制年龄时,即在冰期或间冰期内选取合适的节点控制年龄,利用磁化率年龄模型或粒度年龄模型高分辨率确定的地层沉积时间与地层实际的沉积时间较接近,且在冰期或间冰期内节点控制年龄越多确定的地层沉积时间越趋近实际沉积时间。     

新疆青海地区现代地表沉积物颜色指标与气候参数关系

为更好理解现代沉积物颜色指标（亮度L^*、红度a^*和黄度b^*）与气候参数（年平均温度和年平均降水量）关系,采集新疆和青海地区大空间尺度上104 个地表沉积物样品,运用空间分析与传统统计方法相结合探讨了颜色指标与气候参数的空间趋势特征及局部空间关系,并分析二者之间的相关性。研究发现无论是年平均温度和L^*、a^*和b^*的趋势分析还是空间关联分析,年平均温度和L^*、a^*和b^*在研究区域的不同地区具有不同的关系特征. 年平均降水量和L^*、a^*和b^*的趋势分析在研究区域的不同地区呈现负相关,空间关联分析中在东南部和中部年平均降水量与L^*、a^*和b^*呈现负相关的关系特征.该地区现代表土沉积物颜色指标（L^*、a^*和b^*）与年平均降水量呈负相关关系,相关系数分别为-0.26、-0.35 和-0.29（P=0.01）,与年平均温度相关性不显著,可能与年平均温度和颜色指标在研究区域的不同地区具有不同的相关性有关。现代地表沉积物颜色指标与气候参数的相关性高低,与采样点的数量、分布密度、跨度、地带性土壤类型、相关性分析方法等有关. 本研究对新疆和青海地区地表沉积物颜色指标与气候参数之间关系的探讨,为深入探讨该地区地层颜色指标与古气候环境关系提供参考依据。

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.

Much science-fiction literature is based upon the creation and exploration of alternative environments. Stanley G. Weinbaum's short story, “Parasite Planet,”introduces an unusual environment that may be wrong in the light of recent evidence on Venus but still stimulates the geographical imagination.
