For construction in rock a thorough pre-investigation is important in order to avoid unforeseen conditions which may delay the work. It is crucial to remember the results from this investigation in the further work, and use the experience from the construction to update the geological prognosis and reduce the uncertainties. Different geophysical methods have proved valuable tools in such investigations. In this work the electrical imaging is evaluated with regards to the method's applicability. The evaluation is done qualitatively by comparing the electrical imaging with tunnel documentation from a tunnel in Southern Sweden. By evaluating the result continuously when making the tunnel a more detailed geological prognosis can be compiled and used in the continued work with the tunnel. The parameters used for the comparison are lithology, Q, RQD, weathering and water leakage. The result was that virtually every change in electrical resistivity image coincides with a change in rock conditions. The general trend was that high resistivity corresponded with good quality gneiss whereas low resistivity corresponds to poor quality rock e.g., high weathering, low RQD, low Q and/or several lithological contacts. The intermediate resistivity is often amphibolites or rock with water bearing fractures. The results were supported by in-situ resistivity measurements inside the tunnel and resistivity logging in a core drilling. Geoelectrical imaging proved to give valuable information for a detailed geological model, which could be compiled for a section where the tunnel had not yet been drilled as a help for planning of the continued tunnel work. As is the case other geophysical methods it is clear that for the interpretation of data a priori information about the geological setting is necessary.  相似文献

在海洋天然气水合物资源调查评价过程中,通常先采用地球物理方法来探测海底拟反射层(BSR),然后根据BSR的位置来判断水合物的分布范围和埋藏深度。但在钻井取样过程中发现BSR并不能完全准确地反映水合物的埋藏深度,为此项目组研发了一种绳索打捞式的组合钻具,在钻井过程中不仅能够使用随钻测量钻具探测地层电阻率来确定地层是否有水合物,而且还能通过绳索打捞方式更换取样钻具,完成水合物地层的取样。通过设计、试制和室内测试,验证了水合物探测及取样钻具方案是可行的,为后续的野外试验奠定了基础。  相似文献

The aim of this work is the joint application and integration of non-invasive geoelectrical methods for studying the landfill of Savoia di Lucania (Southern Italy). This landfill for its engineering features and small dimensions (70 m × 30 m × 6 m) represents an optimal test site to assess a geophysical survey protocol for municipal solid waste landfills investigation and monitoring. The landfill of Savoia di Lucania has been built with a reinforced concrete material and coated with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner. Three electrical resistivity tomographies (ERT), two self-potential (SP) map surveys and one induced polarization (IP) section have been performed, both in the surrounding area and inside the waste landfill. The geophysical investigations have well defined some buried boundaries of the landfill basin and localized the leachate accumulation zones inside the dumpsite. Comparison of our results with other engineering and geological investigations could be the key for evaluating the integrity of the HDPE liner. Finally, the joint use of the ERT, IP and SP methods seems to be a promising tool for studying and designing new monitoring systems able to perform a time-lapse analysis of waste landfill geometry and integrity.  相似文献

深圳坂银通道鸡公山隧道的设计路线下穿了深圳下坪固体废弃物填埋场,由于钻孔分析等前期地质勘察无法在该区域开展,下穿填埋场隧道区段施工存在地质状况不明、填埋场渗滤液及填埋气泄露等风险,现有隧道施工超前预报体系不适用于隧道下穿填埋场引发环境灾害问题。针对该难题,本文基于地震预报法(TGP)、瞬变电磁法(TEM)、超前钻孔、取样化学分析等多种方法,构建了隧道下穿填埋场施工超前地质预报体系,并对下穿填埋场隧道区段的围岩质量和渗滤液、填埋气渗漏情况进行了探测与综合分析。结果表明:(1)综合超前预报方法能够提高隧道前方围岩级别判定准确性;(2)填埋场下方存在联通至隧道施工区域的潜在渗滤液渗流通道,但尚未有渗滤液下渗情况发生,隧道开挖过程也无有毒有害气体逸出;(3)针对渗滤液渗漏风险隧道区段,采取全包防水和提升防渗材料等级等方式,可有效保障隧道施工与运营安全。本文研究成果可为隧道穿越环境风险区域施工的超前预报工作提供参考借鉴。  相似文献

An integrated approach including geochemical analyses and geophysical investigations, aimed at characterizing the chemical composition of leachate and at highlighting the extent and magnitude of the plume in terms of spatial distribution is presented. The reason for the specific induced polarisation behaviour over landfills was not well understood. In this work we propose an explanation for this behaviour, which is being used to detect the presence of possible leaks and to track and delimit the pollution plume for several years.As a case study the example of an abandoned municipal solid waste landfill, located in Comacchio County, NE Italy, is presented, where the operative conditions for any resistivity monitoring method were to be excluded because of the high salinity of the phreatic aquifer.  相似文献

文中根据在河北省某市两处不同类型垃圾(建筑垃圾和生活垃圾)填埋场上采用多种地球物理方法(高密度电阻率法、探地雷达法、高精度磁测法、激发极化法和瞬变电磁法)进行试验研究所取得的实测资料,结合工作地区的地质和岩土物性特征,通过分析对比,指出了不同地球物理方法在圈定和监测垃圾填埋场的污染范围和扩散趋势等方面的作用和能力。实验证明,垃圾填埋场渗漏污染检测中,探地雷达法、高密度电阻率法、激发极化法和瞬变电磁法均有一定的效果。除高密度电阻率方法外,激发极化法在监测垃圾的污染范围和污染趋势、圈定污染程度方面,效果也很明显。  相似文献

花岗岩发育地区球状风化体(俗称孤石)的分布直接影响城市轨道交通工程的建设,准确探明花岗岩孤石的空间分布具有重要的现实意义。为了探明地铁建设过程中花岗岩孤石的分布情况,结合深圳地铁11号线某区间孤石探测试验,采用跨孔超高密度电阻率法研究两孔间孤石分布情况,试验数据能较好反映出土层间电阻异常。试验分析结果与现场验证钻孔的对比表明:该物探方法能在一定程度上揭示孤石的空间分布,为进一步针对地铁工程勘察提供了指导,丰富了花岗岩孤石的探测手段。  相似文献

Electrical resistivity imaging is a widely used tool in near surface geophysical surveys for investigation of various geological, environmental and engineering problems including landslide. In this study, an electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) survey was conducted in a landslide area, located in the Söke district of Aydın, Turkey. In 2003, the Neogene-aged units on the slope next to a newly built school building became unstable due to an excavation work and moved after a heavy rainfall. The resulting landslide partly covered the school. The authors carried out a 2-D resistivity survey along three profiles over the landslide mass using a Wenner configuration. It yielded useful information about the geometry and characteristics of the landslide. In addition, a 2-D synthetic resistivity modelling study was carried out to understand the response of the resistivity method to a landslide problem before the field surveys. Eight boreholes were also drilled in the landslide area. Both the drilling and resistivity results indicated the presence of a fault in the site. Also, the resistivity data from the line measured along the axis of the landslide revealed the surface of rupture.  相似文献

. Effective leak detection systems are most often needed to enable early warnings of groundwater contamination from landfill areas. In order to monitor the groundwater chemical changes over time direct current (DC) resistivity measurements have been used, since variation in groundwater ion concentration give changes of the electrical potential field. A simple, low-cost system for long-term monitoring has been developed and used for 4 years at an existing operational landfill in central Sweden. The paper describes the construction and operation of the geoelectrical monitoring system based on a fixed electrode Wenner array, situated in a glaciated terrain. The simplicity of the system enables non-experts in geophysics to run the system and evaluate the results. The lateral resistivity variations (up to 10,000% from the mean lateral value) clearly reflect strongly different natural geological conditions, whereas the variations over time (15% from the mean value at each specific point) reflect mainly the seasonal soil humidity and groundwater level variations. Leachates from the landfill have a low resistivity (about 1 ohmm) and the moderate seasonal variations in electrical resistivity favour the possibilities for identification of leakage from the landfill. Evaluation of resistivity data comprises modified double mass calculations versus data from reference measurement sites, which enables detection of contamination although it influences the resistivity less than the natural seasonal variations.  相似文献

A geophysical investigation of a landfill area was conducted as inextricable phase of a preliminary geotechnical, geological and hydrogeological study of the area under investigation. Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), one of the most promising prospecting techniques mainly concerning its effective contribution to resolve several environmental problems, was applied for the geophysical modeling. ERT is a robust imaging method the theory and implementation of which are well documented in geophysical research literature. The survey site is located in Akrotirion Peninsula, about 7 km east of Chania city in Crete I. The geological setting comprises Trypalion limestones, marly limestones and a clayed weathered layer. Cavities are also identified at various scales which are recent tectono-karstic voids. Due to the above-mentioned geological singularity and in the light of the requirement for an environmentally safe construction of the landfill, an ERT survey was carried out. Specifically, seven geoelectrical tomographies were conducted reaching the prospecting depth of 36 m. The resulted images conduced, to overcome geotechnical problems since the spatial distribution of karstic voids was determined, to plan the future sites for waste disposal as the geological conditions were studied in detail and to reliably estimate the thickness of the already deposited wastes. The resulted images were confirmed using available borehole logs and ambient noise measurements.  相似文献

South Purulia Shear Zone in India is an important zone that hosts uranium mineralization. Since detailed geophysical studies have not been carried out in this region, an integrated geophysical study using self-potential, resistivity, very low frequency electromagnetic and radiometric methods was performed to identify the subsurface structures that could host the hydrothermally altered uranium deposits in the area. The study reveals the wide and large magnitude of negative self-potential anomaly across the South Purulia Shear Zone. The peak negative self-potential anomalies are correlated with the low gravity and low resistivity anomalies measured along various profiles. The low self-potential, gravity and low resistivity anomaly zones are also correlated with conducting zones inferred from very low frequency electromagnetic measurements. Interpretation of self-potential data reveals multiple thick sheet-type vertical and/or inclined structures which might be associated with uranium mineralization. Schlumberger resistivity sounding data reveals an increasing trend of apparent resistivity with current electrode separations/depth. Apparent conductance measured simultaneously with resistivity measurement reveals an increase in current flow of current as depth increases. This exhibits the presence of thin conducting layers at these depths, which is not reflected in resistivity sounding data due to suppression problem. Also this conducting layer is consistent in various soundings and is connected from Raghunathpur to the South Purulia Shear Zone. Correlation of very low frequency and self-potential data shows that the structures are comparable and a radiometric profile also advocate that the conducting structure is associated with radioactive minerals. These structures are likely to be mineralized zones as hydro-uranium anomaly has also been reported from various locations in the area. Moreover, drilling results at a specific mine near the study area also confirms the presence of uranium mineralization. The hydrothermal activity associated with uranium mineralization seems to be still active in the area. Such combined geophysical studies are essential to understand this highly complex shear zone for the economic exploitation of its natural resources.  相似文献

This paper deals with an employment of electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) for survey of leachate content on the waste disposal site in Northern Israel. The research consisted of conducting ten ERI lines and drilling investigation wells. Data simulation used a 2D EarthImager inversion program. Analysis of 2D ERI interpretation results shows that determination of the boundary between the landfill body bottom intensively saturated with leachates and underlying layers of highly water saturated fat nonconsolidated clays presents a challenge. However, statistical analysis of ERI data indicates that standard deviation and confidence interval of a set of resistivity data measured in the landfill body are significantly larger than those in underlying clays. Moreover, maximum changes of these parameters are found on the boundary between landfill body and underlying soil, thus reflecting natural differences in scattering of resistivity data measured in these two objects.  相似文献

利用大极距电阻率测深、高精度磁测和音频大地电磁法开展综合物探工作,查明工作区隐伏断裂构造及破碎带位置即寻找深部导热储水构造,推测热储层顶板埋深,圈定低阻异常区。根据当地的地质、地形与施工条件,选择合理的物探方法确定钻井位置,设计钻孔深度,施工钻孔,最终打出了自流量70m^3/h、井口水温41℃的理想低温型热水井。  相似文献

海堤附近新建闸站常需要采用桩基进行软土地基处理,施工区域若存在隐伏块石层将影响桩基施工进度,增加施工成本,块石的空间分布特征亦对桩基施工工艺的选择起决定性作用。针对钻探法调查地下不规则分布块石盲目性大的问题,采用地质雷达与高密度电法为先导,并在物探异常区域辅以钻探验证的综合勘察技术对某闸站工程桩基施工区域地下块石进行了详查。依据勘察成果选用以旋挖钻为主的桩基施工方案,埋深小于6 m的成片块石区域采用井点降水与土方开挖回填相结合的施工工艺,局部埋深大于8 m的块石采用螺旋钻头或岩心钻头挖除,显著提升了桩基施工效率。结果表明:地质雷达与高密度电法用于探测地下浅部块石可优势互补,前者分辨率高,能体现部分零星块石堆的电磁异常,但块石与土层分界面难以判别,其异常特征表现为强振幅、波形杂乱,在纵向上伴随一定程度的多次反射;后者更适用于成片块石层的探测,较大粒径块石电阻率大于100 Ω·m,地下水位线附近的碎石电阻率小于30 Ω·m。研究成果可为软土施工区域地下深度6 m范围内块石的高精度探测以及对应桩基工程施工钻头的选择提供参考。   相似文献

Integrated study combining high resolution electrical resistivity tomography and time domain induced polarization was carried out in Betul-Chhindwara belt Madhya Pradesh, Central India in order to evaluate and delineate the polymetallic sulphide mineralization, its nature, type of deposit and depth. On interpretation of the models results clear cut anomalies revealed showing chargeability ~2 to 54 mV/V up to a maximum depth of 131m. This range of chargeability signify signature of metallic conductor. Nevertheless the basement rock is clearly mapped, showing substantial resistivity contrast. In addition detailed analysis of the integrated results from geology, geochemistry and Scanning Electron Microscope–Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy resulted from in situ rock samples shows good correlation with resistivity and IP results. This integrated study confirms the presence of conducting sulphide mineral ore body and the results and findings need test drilling at the geophysical anomalous site(s) to confirm the depth persistence and evaluate the metallic conductor.  相似文献

尾矿库内堆放的有污染的固体和液体废物若得不到合理妥善的处理,会对周边的环境造成严重的污染.为了确定尾矿库的稳定性,分析尾矿库内的固、液废弃物对周边土壤和地下水的影响,急需查明尾矿库的形态特征和库容规模.高密度电法作为一种常规的物探方法,以其简便、快捷、高效等特点,在确定尾矿库形态特征方面成为现场探测的首选技术手段.本研究运用高密度电法反演得到尾矿库的底界面范围,并结合钻孔验证,在Voxler平台构建了尾矿库的可视化三维模型,从而更加精确计算尾矿砂的方量,证明了高密度电法在确定尾矿库形态特征中的可行性.  相似文献

Direct current resistivity and ground penetrating radar surveys were employed to obtain the value of the resistivity and dielectric constant in the brine near the Barrow, Alaska. The geophysical surveys were undertaken together with the permafrost drilling program for the measuring of the ground temperature regime and for the core sampling. The sampled cores were measured for their physical and chemical properties in the laboratory under different temperature conditions (-60 to 20 ℃). Laboratory results support field observations and led to the development of a technique for distinguishing freshwater taliks and brine layers in permafrost. These methods were also employed in freshwater taliks near Council,Alaska. The electrical resistivity is a powerful and sensitive parameter for brine detection. However, the resistivity is a less sensitive indicator of the soil type or water content under highly saline conditions.High frequency dielectric constant is an ideal second parameter for the indication of the soil type, liquid water content and other physical properties. The imaginary part of the dielectric constant and resistivity have a significant dependence upon salinity, i.e. upon freezing temperature. The ground temperature regime and the freezing point of the brine layer are important parameters for studying the electric properties of permafrost terrain.  相似文献

The Burwood landfill, which serves the city of Christchurch, New Zealand, is situated on coastal sands underlain by a sequence of aquifers and aquitards. Groundwater flow is toward the coast, located approximately 700 m from the landfill boundary. Shortly after completion of the first phase of the landfill, an array of wells was installed to detect any contaminant from the landfill. Leachate was detected in the wells closest to the landfill. A shallow electromagnetic (EM31) survey was carried out between the landfill and the coast, in order to delineate any leachate plume that may be present. On the basis of the geophysical results, a contaminant plume and buried channels connected to the coast were identified. Leachate flow initially occurs in what is probably a channel or pair of channels. Downgradient, the plume spreads out to the north and south as it moves eastward toward the coast. Using the geophysical results as a guide, a new set of wells was installed to confirm the presence of high leachate concentrations. Pore-water sampling confirms the presence of a leachate plume. Electrical imaging (resistivity tomography) is increasingly used as a geophysical exploration technique in contaminated land research. The present work demonstrates the efficiency of electrical imaging in monitoring pollution plume evolution under both in-situ and model conditions. The in-situ campaign was done at an unlined landfill site situated in the city of Patras, Hellas. A partially saturated zone of alluvial fan deposits underlies the site, which retards leachate percolation to the underlying water table. Electrical imaging provided details of the internal structure of the waste tip, and confirmed the presence of a leachate plume beneath the base of the landfill. This field data component provided the constraints for the design of a generic model of contaminant infiltration into partially saturated sand. The aim was to study leachate plume evolution in a laboratory environment. For this purpose, a miniaturised resistivity tomography technique, developed at Cardiff University, was used to image the resistivity distribution before during and after contaminant infiltration. Comparison of resulting two-dimensional tomography with observed plume geometry at the end of the test showed the miniaturised electrical imaging technique to be highly effective. Experiment showed that contaminant evolution taking place in the model was gravity-driven, with capillary water in the vadose zone being displaced by the denser contaminant solution.  相似文献
