新疆春季沙尘天气与前期月环流特征量的关系

用新疆春季(3～5月)的沙尘日数和北半球500hPa月环流特征量等资料,使应用相关和逐步回归分析方法,研究了新疆春季沙尘天气与前一年的月环流特征量的关系,相关分析和统计结果表明：(1)新疆春季的沙尘天气不仅与同在中纬度地区的西风带上的经向环流、东亚槽等有关,还更多地与中低纬地区的副热带高压以及高纬地区的极涡等系统的月环流特征量有关。(2)新疆春季沙尘天气与前一年夏、秋季的大气环流之间存在明显的隔季相关现象。(3)利用前一年月环流特征量建立了新疆春季沙尘天气日数之间的9个回归模型,9个分析模型都通过了0．001信度检验。其中,南疆的3个模型沙尘暴、扬沙、浮尘和全疆的扬沙、浮尘模型试报效果最好。     

近51a山西大风与沙尘日数的时空分布及变化趋势

利用地面气象观测数据,以瞬时风速≥17.0m.s-1或风力≥8级的大风日数和沙尘天气发生日数为指标,分析了山西大风、沙尘天气的时空分布特征,沙尘天气的变化特点及趋势,并从现代气候变化、大气环流特征及大风日数变化等方面,初步探讨了沙尘天气日数变化的气候原因。分析结果表明,山西的沙尘暴、扬沙与大风日数具有同位相、一峰一谷的逐月变化特征,峰值均出现在4月,谷值均出现在8—9月。浮尘日数具有两峰两谷的逐月变化特征,主峰与主谷与大风出现的时间一致,次峰和次谷则分别出现在每年的12月和2月。大风日数的峰值分别是沙尘暴、扬沙日数峰值的8.39倍和2.31倍;大风日数的谷值分别是沙尘暴、扬沙日数谷值的83.3倍和18.98倍。沙尘暴、扬沙与大风日数均有北部多于南部的空间分布特征,浮尘则与大风相反具有南部多于北部的空间分布特征。山西的沙尘暴、扬沙总日数在20世纪90年代初期以后比50年代到70年代初期分别减少了84.9%和77.1%。多沙尘日数年大气环流的经向度较强,乌拉尔山高压脊偏强,东亚大槽位置偏西且加深,少沙尘日数年则相反。比较发现,沙尘暴、扬沙和大风日数的变化趋势有很好的一致性,线性相关系数分别达到0.80和0.82。这表明,山西沙尘暴和扬沙的变化趋势主要是随大风的变化而变化,高纬冷空气向南爆发的频数减少、势力偏弱、路径偏北导致山西风力条件的减弱是近51a沙尘暴、扬沙发生频数下降的主要原因。     

塔里木盆地沙尘天气日数的变化及其与北大西洋涛动的联系

基于塔里木盆地35站1961-2007年的沙尘暴、扬沙日数的观测资料,分析了塔里木盆地春、夏季沙尘天气日数的时空变化特征及其变化的可能原因。结果表明,沙尘暴和扬沙日数呈显著减少趋势,沙尘暴日数在盆地的西南部,扬沙日数在盆地的东北部,减少幅度最大。春、夏季沙尘暴日数的气候突变发生在20世纪80年代的中后期,而扬沙日数在90年代的中后期。春、夏季沙尘天气日数以单月发生为主,连续2月及以上发生概率较大的区域集中在天山南坡,尤其在阿克苏地区。近20 a来,沙尘天气日数异常站数迅速减少,尤其在2000年后。相关分析表明,前冬北大西洋涛动指数与春、夏季沙尘暴日数有较好的相关关系,可以作为其短期气候预测的一个因子。     

西藏贡嘎沙尘天气气候及环流特征

利用1978-2012年西藏贡嘎的浮尘、扬沙和沙尘暴资料,分析了贡嘎沙尘天气的气候特征。结果表明:贡嘎沙尘天气冬、春季最多,秋季较少,夏季很少发生;扬沙和沙尘暴主要发生在午后,浮尘则全天均可发生;近35年来,扬沙和沙尘暴呈波动减少趋势,减少幅度分别约为7 d-10a和2.2 d-10a,浮尘约以0.5 d/10a的幅度呈不显著增加趋势;基于2005-2012年沙尘天气同期红外差值沙尘指数(IDDI)空间分布图和地面流场、沙地分布图,定性得出贡嘎、尼木、南木林、日喀则、拉孜区域的雅鲁藏布江沿岸沙地是贡嘎沙尘天气的沙尘来源。利用沙尘暴天气个例分析了贡嘎沙尘天气的地面气象要素和高空环流特征,发现相对湿度小、风速大、连续多日无降水是沙尘天气的地面气象要素特征,高空环流形势可分为阻塞型(占40%)、干南支槽型(占17%)、西北气流型(占26%)和热低压型(占17%)等4类。     

影响中国西北及青藏高原沙尘天气变化的因子分析

利用1948—2006年的NCEP(2.5°×2.5°)月平均再分析资料,分析了影响西北及青藏高原沙尘天气变化的动力、热力因子。结果表明:①200 hPa副热带西风急流是影响沙尘天气的动力因子,高层天气系统的季节性变化,导致了其位置及强弱的季节性变化,从而导致了高原南部扬沙、沙尘暴季节性南北移动;急流的动力结构使局地环流得以形成,局地环流的下沉支流使得高空动量下传,使地面风速增大,从而使扬沙和沙尘暴发生。②浮尘和扬沙、沙尘暴天气成因有所不同,地表温度等热力因素对浮尘天气有直接影响;而急流等动力因子则影响浮尘天气的频率,对发生范围影响较小;动力因子是扬沙、沙尘暴发生的直接原因;500 hPa锋生函数大值带的季节性南北移动也是扬沙、沙尘暴南北季节性变化的重要原因。③500 hPa水汽输送带的边缘是扬沙和沙尘暴容易发生的区域。④地表湿度是沙尘天气发生的一个因子,当地表较干时,沙尘天气发生频率增加,而当地表湿度增大时,沙尘天气发生的频率减小。     

冬春季积雪与沙尘天气发生日数关系的探讨——以内蒙古中部地区为例

利用地面气象观测数据,以日积雪深度≥1.0 cm日数和沙尘天气（包括浮尘、扬沙及沙尘暴）发生日数为指标,从不同的空间尺度,分析了内蒙古中部地区冬季与初春积雪日数与沙尘天气发生日数的关系。研究结果表明,在内蒙古中部地区,冬季与初春沙尘天气发生日数与积雪日数之间均呈现负的相关关系,这种相关关系在不同区域和不同季节有所差异,冬季积雪日数与沙尘天气发生日数之间的负相关较初春积雪日数与沙尘天气发生日数之间的负相关更为显著;在中温带温凉半干旱气候区初春积雪日数与沙尘天气发生日数间的负相关较其他两个气候区更为显著。     

艾比湖流域沙尘气候变化趋势及其突变研究

通过艾比湖流域5个气象站建站~2001年的观测资料,对艾比湖流域沙尘气候的变化趋势进行了分析。结果表明,气候发生了明显的变化,主要表现在气温升高,降水增多,但分布不均,沙尘暴、扬沙和大风日数稳定减少,但浮尘日数显著上升,风速分布发生了变化,大风日数的迅速减少还引起蒸发能力的减弱。艾比湖干枯的湖底盐漠面积与该流域沙尘总日数之间存在密切关系,艾比湖水域的伸缩而引发的荒漠化环境变化是造成该流域沙尘天气的主要因素。对艾比湖流域沙尘气候的突变检验结果表明,大风、沙尘暴、扬沙日数的减少和浮尘日数的上升是一种突变现象,这种突变与整个西北气候的变化和艾比湖流域沙漠化条件的变化存在一定的关系。     

额济纳地区沙尘气溶胶质量浓度特征初步分析

为更好地理解亚洲沙尘源区气溶胶特征,在巴丹吉林沙漠边缘额济纳地区进行了野外观测。通过对沙尘源区之一的额济纳地区沙尘气溶胶的长期临测,获得了其区域代表性沙尘气溶胶理化特征。其TSP年变化以5月最大,9月最小,这与气象条件密切相关。针对典型天气过程的观测结果表明,不同天气条件（背景大气、浮尘、扬沙和沙尘暴）下TSP浓度存在倍数关系和量级的差异,其质量浓度随粒径的分布特征也明显不同。总体上讲,额济纳地区清洁大气中沙尘气溶胶浓度量级为10^2μg／m^3,而浮尘,扬沙及沙尘暴期间沙尘气溶胶质量浓度量级为10^2μg/m^3,超强沙尘暴沙尘质量浓度可达量级为10^4μg／m^4,在不同风向影响下,气溶胶粒径分布呈现不同特征;与沙坡头、敦煌地区相比,具有其独特的区域特性。     

中国沙尘天气的区域特征

利用筛选的1954~2000年中国338个站沙尘天气资料及相关气候资料,从沙尘天气区划方面着重分析研究了我国沙尘天气的区域特征。结果表明： 1) 我国沙尘天气多发区分别位于以民丰至和田为中心的南疆盆地和以民勤至吉兰泰为中心的河西地区。不同类型沙尘天气的空间分布范围不尽相同,其中沙尘暴主要发生在与北方沙漠及沙漠化土地相联系的极干旱、干旱和半干旱区内。扬沙和浮尘天气除了在沙尘暴发生区的绝大部分地区出现外,还向其它邻近地区扩展,如扬沙可向东北地区和东南的黄淮海平原及以南地区扩展;而浮尘天气则主要向东南方向扩展,可涉及整个黄淮海平原和长江中下游地区。相比之下,上风方向的中高纬地区,如北疆和东北北部地区,浮尘天气发生甚少。2) 全国沙尘暴天气易发区可划分为北疆、南疆、河西、柴达木盆地、河套、东北和青藏等7个亚区。沙尘暴和浮尘在南疆区发生日数最多,而扬沙在河西区发生日数最多。     

1960-2020年辽宁沙尘强度特征

基于1960-2020年辽宁56个气象站地面观测资料,计算沙尘强度指数,应用回归方程、M-K非参数检验和相关分析等得到辽宁沙尘天气的年际分布特征.结果表明:影响辽宁的主要沙尘天气是扬沙,其次是浮尘、沙尘暴.影响辽宁东南部和南部的主要沙尘天气是浮尘,影响其他地区的主要沙尘天气是扬沙.辽宁沙尘强度呈显著减弱趋势,2010年...

Deserts and Aeolian Desertification in China: Book review and some thoughts

Desertification is a global phenomenon that affects about two billion people. It occurs in arid zones where the annual precipitation is below 400 mm, partic- ularly in the marginal areas of the world＇s largest deserts. It is a result of water and wind erosion, over- grazing, global warm-ing, improper soil cultivation, and increased pressure ot population growth, and it causes degradation of soil and natural and agricultural vegetation. The direct result is less food for people and livestock, which influences pop- ulation and animal husbandry fluctuations. Despite ef- forts to combat and reduce desertification, the affected areas are annually increasing.
