定标是射电天文观测中基础而重要的工作.定标工作可以得到太阳观测中的一个重要物理量:太阳射电辐射流量,可以扣除射电频谱仪的通道不均匀性,清晰显示射电频谱特征.结合紫金山天文台射电频谱仪的观测数据,详细介绍了定标的基本方法,分析了定标常数的变化情况,最后给出了定标结果,并与野边山射电偏振计以及RHESSI(The Reuven Ramaty High Energy Solar Spectroscopic Imager)卫星硬X射线波段的几个太阳耀斑的观测结果进行了比较,结果符合耀斑的光变特征.其中对一个耀斑脉冲相硬X射线流量和微波光变的相关性的分析表明这些观测可以用来研究有关的辐射机制以及相应的能量释放和粒子加速过程.  相似文献

太阳射电爆发的动态频谱观测是研究太阳活动的重要手段之一.基于对2015年8月27日蒙城太阳射电频谱仪(Mc SRS)所观测得到一个M2.9级太阳耀斑光变特征的分析,发现由于仪器电子学上的问题,传统定标方法给出的结果并不理想.利用日本野边山的射电偏振仪(NoRP)/射电日像仪(NoRH)以及地球静止轨道环境业务卫星(GOES)的观测数据,结合有关辐射机制可以对定标方法进行改进.和传统的定标方法相比,改进后的定标结果和NoRP/NoRH的观测结果显示出更好的相关性,更好地揭示了耀斑射电频谱的演化规律.  相似文献

根据在射电天文频谱观测中出现的新需求,介绍了近年来数字技术的新进展.达到GHz采样速率的多位高速模数转换器(Analog-to-Digital Converter,ADC)、海量数字处理芯片现场可编程门阵列(Field Progxammable Gate Array,FPGA)以及运行在这些芯片上的并行快速傅里叶变换知识产权(Fast Fourier,Transform Intellectual Property,FFT IP)内核,结合高性能数据总线的系统集成,为射电天文构建新型FFT频谱仪提供了可能的技术选择.与现有其他类型频谱仪相比,集成了这些新技术的数字型FFT频谱仪有更大的带宽、更高的谱分辨率、更高的动态范围和整体稳定性,此类频谱仪的出现显示了射电频谱技术已经进入了新一代数字技术应用的阶段.  相似文献

嫦娥四号着陆器将搭载低频射电频谱仪在月球背面进行低频射电天文观测,低频射电频谱仪的观测波段为0.1~40 MHz。根据着陆器在中国空间技术研究院的微波暗室进行的电磁兼容性试验结果,着陆器平台在该频段内自身存在非常强的噪声,其强度甚至淹没大部分来自太阳爆发的信号,难以探测有效信号,实现预期的科学目标。通过模拟仿真分析谱减法、维纳滤波及自适应滤波3种方法对着陆器噪声消除的效果,从而选择更为有效的噪声消除方法,为低频射电频谱仪在轨探测任务的数据处理提供依据。  相似文献

Distance measurement is a must to characterize any source in the sky. In the radio band, it is rarely possible to get distance or redshift measurements. The optical band is the most used band to get distance estimate of sources, even for those originally discovered in other bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. However, the spectroscopic redshift measurements even for fairly bright radio sample is grossly incomplete, implying un-explored discovery space. Here we discuss the scope of optical follow up of radio sources, in particular the radio loud AGNs, from the present generation radio telescopes.  相似文献

We discuss the possibility of a discovery of current sheets by using their screening and emissive properties in the radio band. It is shown that the presence of a current sheet in the solar atmosphere leads to a depression of the radio brightness at some wavelengths and to its enhancement at shorter wavelengths. Spectral observations with sufficient angular resolution may give such characteristics of the sheet as its temperature, electron density, thickness and height in the solar atmosphere.  相似文献

Several models for pulsating type IV radio bursts are presented based on the assumption that the pulsations are the result of fluctuations in the synchrotron emission due to small variations in the magnetic field of the source. It is shown that a source that is optically thick at low frequencies due to synchrotron self-absorption exhibits pulsations that occur in two bands situated on either side of the spectral peak. The pulsations in the two bands are 180° out of phase and the band of pulsations at the higher frequencies is the more intense. In contrast, a synchrotron source that is optically thin at all frequencies and whose low frequency emission is suppressed due to the Razin effect develops only a single band of pulsations around the frequency of maximum emission. However, the flux density associated with the later model would be too small to explain the more intense pulsations that have been observed unless the source area is considerably larger than presently seems reasonable.  相似文献

In this paper, the correlations of gamma ray with other bands are discussed for highly polarized blazars. The results show gamma rays are beamed. The basal component of radio emission is the radio intensity obtained after subtracting the sunspot-dependent (magneto-active) component from the observed flux and finally deducting the steady part from this subtracted value. The periodicity of this basal component of solar radio emission in the frequency band 0.245–15.4 GHz was studied both for the solar maximum (1980 and 1991) and minimum (1975 and 1986) periods. A constant periodicity of 35 days was observed in the entire radio band under study during the periods of maximum solar activity, whereas the periodicity fluctuates harmonically with frequency during the minimum periods, giving rise to an average time period of approximately 54 days.  相似文献

We present three-dimensional hydrodynamical simulations of buoyant gas in a typical cluster environment. In these simulations, hot matter was injected continuously into a small region offset from the cluster centre. In agreement with previous analytic estimates, we found that the bubbles evolve very differently depending on the rate of energy injection. Using tracer particles we computed the efficiency of the bubbles to stir the intracluster medium (ICM) and find that recurrent low-power sources are more effective in mixing the inner cluster region than rarer large outbursts. Moreover, we computed radio maps of the bubbles based on different assumptions about the magnetic field. In the radio band the bubbles closely resemble FR I sources. For the bubbles to be detectable for long enough to account for FR I sources, we found that reacceleration has to take place. The bubbles are generally difficult to detect, both in the radio and in the X-ray band. Thus it is possible to hide a significant amount of energy in the form of bubbles in clusters.  相似文献

This review focuses on the physics of Gamma Ray Bursts probed through their radio afterglow emission. Even though radio band is the least explored of the afterglow spectrum, it has played an important role in the progress of GRB physics, specifically in confirming the hypothesized relativistic effects. Currently radio astronomy is in the beginning of a revolution. The high sensitive Square Kilometer Array (SKA) is being planned, its precursors and pathfinders are about to be operational, and several existing instruments are undergoing upgradation. Thus, the afterglow results from detection statistics and follow up programs are expected to improve in the coming years. We list a few avenues unique to radio band which if explored to full potential have the promise to greatly contribute to the future of GRB physics.  相似文献

Type IV radio bursts with wide band from microwave to metric-wave frequency are generally associated with solar proton flares. Recently, Castelli et al. (1967, 1968) have shown that the type IV radio bursts associated with solar proton flares show the U-shaped peak flux spectra with the minimum flux at decimetric frequencies. In this paper, the center-to-limb variation of such peak flux spectra is investigated in order to examine the effect of decrease of the peak flux at metric frequencies with increase of the angular distance from the central meridian of the Sun. It is shown that the U-shaped spectra are obtained independent of the position of proton flares, although the spectral form changes significantly in the case of the flares near the limb. It is further suggested that the U-shaped spectra consist of the two essentially independent components for microwave and metric-wave frequencies, respectively.  相似文献
