保德阶层型剖面磁性地层学研究   总被引:18,自引:4,他引:14  
古地磁测量表明 ,中国新近系保德阶界线层型 ,山西保德冀家沟剖面记录了 12个正极性段与 11个负极性段。上部黄土显示了正极性与负极性 ,记录了松山负反极性带的一部分 ;红色黏土与砂砾岩层记录了 Cande95古地磁极性年表中的 C2 An.1n,C2 An.2 n,C2 An.3n,C3n.1n,C3n.2 n,C3n.3n,C3n.4 n,C3An.1n,C3An.2 n,C3Bn,C4 n.1n,C4 n.2 n及其间负极性带。剖面红色黏土的地质年龄为 8.0 Ma— 3.0 Ma,包括了榆社期的早期和保德期的中、晚期。冀家沟保德阶剖面含有二层哺乳动物化石层 ,上化石层以含丰富的鹿科化石为特点 ,相当于含 4 9地点动物群的层位 ,年龄约 5 .5 0 Ma;下化石层相当于含 30地点动物群层位 ,古地磁年龄应当在 6 .5 Ma— 7.0 Ma之间。  相似文献

通过对宁夏固原新生代寺口子剖面的古地磁年代研究,获得该剖面始新统寺口子组共记录的15个正极性和14个反极性,可以与标准极性柱C21n—C11n.1n段进行很好的对比,通过多种地质资料综合分析,确定年龄为47.906—29.401Ma。这一年龄区间正好与现今鄂尔多斯盆地周缘其他新生代断陷盆地(如渭河盆地、银川盆地等)接受沉积的时代基本一致,宁南盆地的发育与这些周缘新生代断陷盆地很可能具有相同的区域地球动力学环境和盆地属性。  相似文献

文章对内蒙古准格尔旗红粘土沉积进行了粒度和磁性地层研究.粒度分析表明,该红粘土序列的粒度分布特征与灵台、泾川剖面的第四纪古土壤、新近纪红粘土十分类似,结合野外观察基本可以确认其风成成因.磁性地层和碳同位素地层研究表明,准格尔旗剖面古地磁极性序列可与标准极性柱C3n.1r~C3An.2n极性段相对应,根据沉积速率外推,其沉积时代为4.13~6.61Ma.该剖面是迄今为止有年龄报道的纬度最高的红粘土沉积,表明黄土高原主体地区红粘土的北界至少在现代毛乌素沙漠以北,其分布北界比黄土更靠北.空间粒度对比表明,红粘土的空间粒度分异远远小于第四纪黄土-古土壤序列,表明新近纪粉尘沉积区至源区的距离远大于第四纪时期.  相似文献

谢家期一名最初在1984年提出,1999年第二届全国地层委员会正式提出依据谢家期建立对应的年代地层单位——谢家阶,阶名源自同名岩石地层单位谢家组。谢家阶的层型剖面在青海省湟中县田家寨乡谢家村北1km处的车头沟,谢家阶对应于国际地层表中的海相Aquitanian阶,其共同的底界定义为古地磁ChronC6Cn.2n的底界,年龄为23.0Ma。古地磁研究结果显示在谢家剖面谢家阶的底界位于马哈拉沟组上部的棕红色块状泥岩连续沉积中,距上覆的谢家组底48m。生物地层学的综合分析表明谢家阶包含3个哺乳动物群单位,即NMU1—3。谢家剖面上发现的谢家动物群相当于NMU2,新疆准噶尔盆地北缘的索索泉动物群和甘肃兰州盆地的张家坪动物群分别相当于NMU1和NMU3。  相似文献

共和盆地第四纪剖面磁性地层学研究表明,该剖面包含了四个正极性段,三个负极性段,剖面底部地层年龄约为2.11Ma B.P.。结合剖面的沉积特征和已有的孢粉组合特征分析,可以确定该剖面记录了共和盆地2.11Ma B.P.以来的气候变化,且气候发生转型的主要时期依次为1.92 Ma B.P、1.75Ma B.P.、1.40Ma B.P.、1.02 Ma B.P.和0.87Ma B.P.。其主要原因可能是青藏高原强烈隆升远程效应的结果。共和盆地气候变化时间序列的建立为研究青藏高原隆升及环境效应提供有力证据。   相似文献

内蒙古中部地区高特格产出的哺乳动物化石的组合代表了该地区新近纪哺乳动物群序列中最年轻的成员,在研究蒙古高原动物群的演化与生态环境变化上有着重要意义,为此笔者等开展了对含化石地层剖面的岩石磁学和磁性地层研究。研究发现,这套地层主要携磁矿物为磁铁矿和矫顽力谱较宽的针铁矿。由于岩石的磁化强度很低,难以直接获得特征分量,然而通过低温分量的重磁化大圆弧分析,可以得到样品特征剩磁的磁极性,从而建立了该剖面的磁极性地层柱。在27.65m厚的剖面上,共获得四个正、反极性带::N1-R1-N2-R2,R1对应于C3n.lr,N2对应于C3n.1n。高特格动物群出露在C3n.1n-C3n.1r之间,绝对年龄在4.180~4.480Ma之间,含化石层(22.65m厚)平均沉积速率为65.2m/Ma。据此推断出采样剖面的年代在4.072-4.496Ma之间。  相似文献

六盘山群磁性地层年代研究是认识鄂尔多斯西缘逆冲带和我国现今构造—环境格局形成的关键途径之一。通过对六盘山盆地中北部火石寨剖面厚730m的沉积地层进行高分辨率的古地磁采样测量,发现了11个长的正极性柱和11个短的负极性柱,可与标准极性柱M3n至M—"3r"段进行很好的对比,并与已有的生物化石资料显示的年代对应,从而获得六盘山群的年代约为127—100Ma。  相似文献

近十年来,在广东南雄盆地、江西池江盆地、湖南衡阳盆地和内蒙古二连盆地开展的生物地层学、化学地层学和磁性地层学的研究工作,为我国陆相古近系上湖阶、浓山阶和岭茶阶的建立提供了可靠的依据,并为其与海相地层、全球界线层型的对比提供了可能。古新统上湖阶的界线层型剖面选在广东南雄盆地大塘剖面(即鹅颈岭—逆龙坑一线),根据脊椎动物化石和岩石地层学的研究将紧挨南雄群-上湖组界线的一套黄灰色厚层黏土砾岩作为其底界。最新的古地磁和同位素研究表明,上湖组底界处于C29R极性段的上部,接近白垩系-古近系界线,可以作为上湖阶的底界。古新统浓山阶的界线层型在江西池江盆地田心里—狮子口村剖面,该剖面下古新统狮子口组和中、上古新统池江组的哺乳动物群有明显变化。同时,磁性地层学研究表明,狮子口组与池江组界线上、下出现C27n极性段向C26r极性段转换,可与海相地层中的"丹尼最晚期事件"对比。这表明浓山阶的底界位于C27n/C26n转换带,相当于丹尼阶最上部,与塞兰特阶底界接近,与北美哺乳动物分期当中Torrejonian-Tiffanian的界线基本一致。始新统岭茶阶(古新统-始新统)界线层型选在我国湖南衡东盆地成家冲东北的岭茶—霞流公路旁,剖面上发现的古新统-始新统界线碳同位素负向漂移,可与国际古新统-始新统界线层型剖面——埃及Dababiya剖面(GSSP)的碳同位素负向漂移对比,该剖面的碳同位素负向飘移可以作为岭茶阶底界,年龄接近55.8±0.2Ma。  相似文献

文章对西部黄土高原糜子湾黄土-古土壤剖面进行了磁性地层学研究。该剖面厚度为164.4m,记录了15个正磁极性段和15个负磁极性段,可与标准极性表中从C5r.3r到C5En之间的极性带对比。根据极性界限用平均沉积速率外推,得到该剖面顶界年龄为约11.6MaB.P.,底界年龄为约18.5MaB.P.。糜子湾剖面位于已发表的QAⅠ中新世黄土剖面以东约30km,两剖面相同时代的地层在岩性地层结构和磁化率曲线波动上具有高度的一致性,表明中新世黄土-古土壤序列与第四纪黄土-古土壤序列一样,地层在空间上有很好的可对比性。文章的结果为从空间角度研究中新世环境变化行为提供了新剖面的年代地层框架。  相似文献

渤海湾北岸Bg10孔磁性地层研究及其构造意义   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
对渤海湾北岸孔深600m的Bg10孔进行了详细的沉积学和古地磁研究,划分了39个沉积单元;基于516个样品(60个交变样品,456个热退样品)分离出的特征剩磁,建立了钻孔的磁性地层,并与标准极性年表相对比,确定正极性N1、N2、N3、N4、N5、N6和N7分别对应C1n、C1r.1n、C2n、C2r.1n、C2An.1n、C2An.2n和C2An.3n,R1、R2、R3、R4、R5和R6分别对应C1r.1r、C1r.2r+C1r.3r、C2r.1r、C2r.2r、C2An.1r和C2An.2r。钻孔B/M界限埋深162.3m,M/G界限埋深为475.8m,钻孔底部位于C2An.3n内,其年龄应小于3.596Ma。Bg10孔包括3个沉积阶段:Ⅰ阶段为3.3~3.6Ma,沉积速率略大于130m/Ma,为构造活动期,唐县期夷平面结束后,盆地沉降和山体隆升的差异增大,并与西部地区的青藏运动A幕相对应;Ⅱ阶段为1.9~3.3Ma,沉积速率为112m/Ma,为盆地的填充过程,气候变化控制沉积过程,但沧县隆起和黄骅坳陷之间沉降仍有差异。Ⅲ阶段为0~1.9Ma,沉积速率为202m/Ma,约在1.0~1.2Ma发生一期构造活动,与西部地区的昆黄运动时代大体相当。1.0Ma以来,沉积过程受构造和气候变化双重影响,沧县隆起和黄骅坳陷之间仍有差异沉降。唐山-邢台断裂带可能在1.9Ma之后活动性增强,并和张家口-蓬莱断裂带在沧县隆起上的交汇区域形成一个次级凹陷。  相似文献

The Xining basin is located in the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a rift basin formed in Mesozoic and Cenozoic and structurally belongs to the intersection of Kunlun and Qilian Mountains. Cenozoic fluvial and lacustrine sedimentary strata are continuous in the Xining basin, with a thickness of more than 800 m, completely recording the deformation uplifting, weathering and denudation history and climate change process of the northeastern plateau. Currently, early Miocene Xijia fauna, early Middle Miocene Danshuilu fauna and late Middle Miocene Diaogou fauna are discovered in the Xining basin, which provide an important basis for the stratigraphic correlation of the Cenozoic strata in the Xining basin. However, in the next few decades, there are no reports about the large mammal fossils in the Xining basin, especially about late Miocene fauna. The author discovered a large amount of mammal fossils in the Neogene sedimentary strata in Huzhu area, Xining basin. According to the identification results of the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, these fossils mainly included Hipparion dongxiangense, Chilotherium sp., Parelasmotherium sp., Stephanocemas sp. and Kubanochoerus sp. and their age was early Late Miocene. Since the discovery of this set of fossils directly filled the blank that there were no large mammal fossils in the Xining basin in Late Miocene, it was very important for studying the magnetic stratigraphic chronology of fossil-forming strata and establishing the paleomagnetic chronology scale plate of mammal fossils. In this paper, the paleomagnetic data of the fossil-forming stratigraphic profile, Banyan profile, were measured and the paleomagnetic records were collected through high density sampling, and finally the paleomagnetic polarity column of the profile was established. The results showed that five positive and five negative polarity segments were recorded in Banyan profile, which corresponded well to the polarity between C3Br.1n-C4n.2n in the standard polarity column. The age of profile top was about 7.25 Ma and profile bottom was about 8.4 Ma, with an age range of 1.15 Ma. The mammal fossils discovered this time were exposed between positive and negative polarities N5 and R5 at the bottom of the profile, corresponding to C4r.1r at negative polarity and C4n.2n at positive polarity in the standard polarity column. The age of mammal fossils was about 8.3 Ma. The paleomagnetic chronology of the strata and paleontological fossils determined the absolute age of late Miocene mammal fossils and expanded the upper age of late Miocene Xianshuihe Formation (N1xn) in the Xining basin, which had provided new basic data for further studying the stratigraphic deposition and correlation of late Cenozoic strata and regional environmental evolution.  相似文献

The chronostratigraphy of the youngest Neogene deposits of the Amazon Basin, which comprise the Madre de Dios Formation in eastern Peru, remains unresolved. Although 40Ar/39Ar dates on two volcanic ashes from this formation in Peru provide critical baseline data points, stratigraphic correlations among scattered riverine outcrops in adjacent drainage basins remain problematic. To refine the chronostratigraphy of the Madre de Dios Formation, we report here the magnetostratigraphy of an outcrop on the Madre de Dios River in southeastern Peru. A total of 18 polarity zones was obtained in the ~65-m-thick Cerro Colorado section, which we correlate to magnetozones Chrons C4Ar to C2An (9.5–3.0 Ma) based on the prior 40Ar/39Ar dates. These results confirm the late Miocene age of a gomphothere recovered from the Ipururo Formation, which underlies the late Miocene Ucayali Unconformity at the base of the Cerro Colorado outcrop. The results also support earlier interpretations of a late Miocene age for other fossils of North American mammals recovered from basal conglomeratic deposits of the Madre de Dios Formation immediately above the Ucayali Unconformity. These mammals include other gomphotheres, peccaries, and tapirs, and their presence in South America in the late Miocene is recognized as part of the first pulse of the Great American Faunal Interchange.  相似文献

The late Cenozoic sediments in the rift basins in the northern Himalaya Mountains document important information about the uplift and deformation of the most active tectonic region in the Tibetan Plateau. However, these sediments have not been precisely dated, hindering our ability to address the basin development and termination associated with a series of uplifts in the southern Tibetan Plateau. Here, we report a detailed magnetostratigraphic study on the fluvio - lacustrine sedimentary sequence of the Dati Formation bearing abundant Hipparion forstenae fossils in the Dati Basin in the northern frontal region of the Himalaya Mountains. The 195 m – thick section yielded six normal and seven reversed polarity zones that correlate well with Chrons C3An.1r to C4r.2r of the geomagnetic polarity time scale, constraining the section age to ~8.6 – ~6.2 Ma. Together with the magnetostratigraphic results from other rift basins in the region, these results indicate that the horizons bearing the Hipparion fossils were deposited during the age interval of 7.1–6.5 Ma in the northern Himalaya Mountains. The regional tectonic activity and comprehensive magnetostratigraphic and sedimentologic comparisons suggest that the evolution of the rift basins in the northern Himalaya Mountains has involved three major stages since the late Cenozoic, i.e., (1) ~10.0–8.0 Ma, onset of the basins with fan delta facies; (2) ~8.0–3.0 Ma, expansion of the basins with mainly lacustrine facies; (3) ~3.0–1.7 Ma, shrinking and termination of the basins with alluvial fans. The basin evolutionary history indicates an accelerated tectonic uplift of the Himalaya Mountains at ~10.0 Ma, and two deformational events at ~3.0 Ma and at ~1.7 Ma.  相似文献

作者用磁性地层方法研究了塔里木盆地周缘库车组西域组地层。结果表明:库车组记录了吉尔伯特(Gilbert)负极性带,年龄为3.40~5.30Ma,其中显示了柯奇蒂(Cochiti)正极性亚带(3.80~3.90),努尼瓦克(Nunivak)正极性亚带(4.05~4.20Ma)、西杜夫加尔(Sidufjal)正极性亚带(4.32~4.47Ma)及思维拉(Thvera)正极性亚带(4.85~5.00Ma)。下西域组记录了高斯(Gauss)正极性带,所龄为2.48~3.40Ma。其中包括凯纳(Kaena)负极性亚带(2.92~3.01Ma)与马莫斯(Mammoth)负极性亚带(3.05~3.15Ma)。上西域组记录了松山(Matuyama)负极性带下段,年龄为1.50~2.48Ma。其中包括留尼昂(Reunion)正极性亚带(2.12~2.15Ma)与奥尔都维(Olduvai)正极性亚带(1.67~1.87)Ma)。根据上述古地磁资料,作者将库车组划为下上新统(N1 2k),年龄为3.40~5.30Ma。下西域组划为上上新统(N2 2x),年龄为2.48~3.40Ma。上西域组划为下下更新统(Q1 1),年龄为1.50~2.48 Ma 。作者认为由于印度板块向欧亚板块的俯冲造成塔里木盆地周缘山系的迅速抬升 ,形成高大山系的时代为上新世初期 ,大约 5.30 Ma 。  相似文献

川西高原的上白垩统及第三系属于山间盆地型陆相沉积 ,红层发育 ,化石稀少 ,地层划分、对比困难。本地区有化石证据的白垩纪地层仅见于雀儿山南麓的德格县 ,错阿组为一套红色含砾砂岩和粉、细砂岩 ,上部夹灰黄、灰黑色钙质粉砂岩及含铜砂岩 ,深灰色含铜砂岩中产有以希指蕨孢居统治地位的孢粉植物群 ,地质时代为晚白垩世中期。本区古近系红层发育 ,理塘县热鲁村附近的热鲁群下部为红色岩系 ,中上部灰黄、灰色粉砂岩内产以 Pali-binia和桃金娘科为主的植物群 ,时代为早—中始新世。目前可以肯定的中新统仅见于松潘县红土坡一带 ,为一套含煤的灰、灰黄色碎屑岩系 ,其中所含的叶化石和孢子花粉表明其时代为中新世。上新统至更新统分布较广 ,北部以白玉县昌台地区较为典型 ,称昌台群。无论从化石或岩性看昌台群均可分为上、下两套 :下部以杂色碎屑岩为主 ,夹砾岩和玄武岩 ,其中的孢粉组合以麻黄及榆科、藜科花粉丰富为特征 ;上部以含褐煤的暗色碎屑岩为主 ,除丰富的植物化石外 ,孢子花粉为松科、菊科、杜鹃科等居优势的组合 ,昌台群的地质时代为上新世到到早更新世。南部的上新统—更新统以昔格达组为代表 ,主要是河湖相暗色岩系 ,局部地区有褐煤夹层 ,产植物叶化石和孢子花粉 ,时代主要属于更新世 ,下部在某  相似文献

本文报道了黑龙江省张广才岭"新元古代"一面坡群唐家屯组流纹岩和长石石英砂岩以及杨木岗组粉砂质泥岩中锆石的U-Pb定年结果,结合上覆早侏罗世太安屯组流纹岩的定年结果,讨论了一面坡群的形成时代及其构造属性。采自该群绝大多数锆石均呈自形-半自形晶,显示出典型岩浆生长环带或条痕状吸收,暗示其岩浆成因。定年结果表明,采自一面坡群唐家屯组底部流纹岩的形成时代为295±2Ma,而上部长石石英砂岩产生了234Ma、260Ma、273Ma、291Ma、309Ma和327Ma多组谐和年龄;杨木岗组粉砂质泥岩产生了226Ma、267Ma、362Ma、411Ma、485Ma和783Ma多组谐和年龄;覆盖在杨木岗组之上的中生代太安屯组流纹岩的定年结果为189±1Ma。从上述定年结果可以看出,一面坡群唐家屯组流纹岩形成于早二叠世,而其上部的长石石英砂岩与杨木岗组粉砂质泥岩的形成时代类似(226~234Ma)——即其形成于晚三叠世-早侏罗世之间(226~189Ma),而非先前所确定的新元古代。基于杨木岗组中碎屑锆石的年龄频数,杨木岗组的沉积物源主要来自于周边晚古生代地质体以及次要的早中生代、早古生代和新元古代地质体。此外,早二叠世流纹岩与同时代玄武质岩石共同构成了双峰式火山岩组合,可能暗示一种伸展环境。  相似文献
