There are two main types of iron deposits in the Middle-Lower Yangtze Valley district.Both of them underwent post-magmatic hydrothermal processes during ore formation.Iron in the hydrothermal ore bodies was derived largely through mobilization from substantially consolidated diroitic intrusives.Wall-roch alteration zonation indicates that iron-mobilizing hydrothermal fluids evolved in a trend of decreasing alkalinity,which is suggested by regularly distributed wall-rock alterations formed by iron-mobilizing hydrothermal fluids and is in contradiction with the current chloride,chloride complex and bicarbonate models for iron mobilization.The close association of carbonatization with iron ores and the high concentrations of reduced gases such as CO,CH4 and H2 in fluid inclusions suggest that iron is most probably transported in the form of iron carbonyls during post-magmatic hydrothermal processes. In the light of the iron carbonyl mobilization model,explanations are made of the constraints on ores of some geologic factors such as melanocratic alteration,carbonatization,carbonate strata,structural fractures,cyptoexplosive pipes and embryo ores.  相似文献

Experiments on water-rock interaction were carried out on wall-rock samples fromtheMobin gold deposit,Southwest Hunan,China ,with the aim of determining the optimum physical and chemical conditions for the mobilization of gold in solution.Results indicate that gold is most easily mobilized from the wall rock-tuffaceous slate of the Mobin Deposit.Mobi-lization is optimized if fluids are neutral to slightly alkaline and contain both chlorine and sul-phur ions at the concentration and composition of about[0.25M(NH4)2 1M NaCl].The amount of gold leached from the tuffaceous slate increases with temperature although the effect decreases above about 200℃.  相似文献

To predict the long-term behavior of arsenic(As) in soil profiles,the solid-solution partitioning of As was studied in four paddy soil profiles obtained from agricultural areas in Chengdu Plain,Southwest China.Paddy soil profile samples were collected and soil solution samples were extracted.Total As contents in soil solution and soil solid were analyzed,along with the soil solid phase properties.The As in soil solution was significantly higher in the upper layer(0—20 cm) and had a definite tendency to decrease towards 40 cm regardless of the sampling locations.When the concentration of arsenic in soil solution decreased,its content in solid phase increased.Field-based partition coefficient(K_d) for As was determined by calculating the ratio of the amount of As in the soil solid phase to the As concentration in the soil solution.K_d values varied widely in vertical samples and correlated well with soil pH,total organic carbon(TOC) and total As. The results of this study would be useful for evaluating the accumulation trends of arsenic in soil profiles and in improving the management of the agricultural soils.  相似文献

Presented in this paper are the rypes,salinities,homogenization temperatures and organic components of fluid inclusions formed at the four stages of diagenetic authigenesis in the Eogene of the Biyang Depression.The results of cooling experiments on fluid inclusions were used to determine the fluid system and composition of saline aqueous solution in each of the stages .The homogenization temperatures of saline aqueous solution inclusions and hydrocarbon organic inclu-sions have been corrected by two approaches ,and the trapping temperatures and pressures of fluid inclusions at each of the stages have been obtained.This strdy has shed light on the physicochemistry and evolution of diagenetic fluids.The diagentic fluid system is a system which was transformed from a chloride-bearing to a carbonate-bearing system along with the diagenic evolu-tion.The decrease of diagenetic temperature at Stage III of diagenetic authigenesis suggests that the depression would have experiences uplifting at that time.The fluorescent characteristics of fluid inclusions indicate the varieties of organic components in fluid inclusions both in time and in space.  相似文献

Naturally occurring arsenic (As) in groundwater of sedimentary aquifers has emerged as a global problem, and the Indo-Gangetic Basin of Nepal is no exception. In the sedimentary aquifers of the Indo-Gangetic Basin, arsenic enrichment and mobilization in groundwater by natural processes is considered an issue of major environmental health concern. About 11 million people, 47% of Nepali's total population living in the region and approximately 90% of them are relying on groundwater as their major source of drinking water. Moreover, 205555 ha of agricultural land in the basin are irrigated by groundwater through large numbers of deep and shallow irrigation tubewells for extensive cultivation of crops which has lead to creation of other pathways for arsenic ingestion among the people living in the region. It is estimated that around 0.5 million people in the basin are living at risk of arsenic poisoning In addition, some recent research shows the prevalence of dermatosis related to arsenicosis from 1.3% to 5.2 % and the accumulation of arsenic in biological samples like hair and nails much higher than the acceptance level. In these circumstances, the source of the natural arsenic concentration in groundwater of the Indo-Gangetic Basin is quite essential to explore. Therefore, to investigate the source of arsenic and management of arseniferious groundwater used for human consumption and irrigation, along with treatment or avoidance, is clearly an issue of research concern. Present research is carried out to understand the source of natural arsenic and its mobilization in groundwater of the Indo-Gangetic Basin. For this, we have collected bedrock, aquifer sediments and water samples from the study area. Sediment samples were taken from different lithofacies viz. clay, silt, sand and sandy gravels from groundwater aquifer where arsenic concentration is high. Water samples were taken from domestic shallow and deep tubewells in grid pattern. Bedrock samples were collected from source of the aquifer sediment, northern part of the Indo-Gangetic Basin, especially from the Siwalik and Lesser Himalaya. This paper particularly focuses on geology, mineralogy, hydro-geochemistry and sedimentary analysis of the high arsenic affected districts; Rautahat, Sarlahi, Parsa, and Kailali of Nepal.  相似文献

Although inorganic species are predominant in natural systems, but there are many kinds of organoarsenic species such as methylated and phenylated arsenic compounds. Phenylarsonic acid (PA) is a degradation product of organoarsenics used for chemical warfare agents, which has been detected in well water at the disposal site of the agents in Japan. There are few reports studying behavior of PA in soil. In this study, PA was adsorbed onto ferrihydrite and its chemical forms were determined using high performance liquid chromatography connected to inductivity-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HPLC-ICP-MS). 100 mg/kg of PA was mixed with 0.03 g of 2-line ferrihydrite. For each suspension, pH was adjusted by HNO3 or NaOH. Each sample was incubated for more than 19 hours and the final pH was measured. After filtration, the chemical form of arsenic in the filtrate was measured using HPLC-ICP-MS. In addition, ferrihydrite separated by filtration was dissolved by 3 ml of 0.5 M HCI and the arsenic species in the solution was detected by HPLC-ICP-MS (column: Tosoh TSKgel SuperlC-AP, eluent: 0.01 M HNO3). It was verified that PA is not degraded by heating in 0.5 M HCl solution. At pH 3.1, any arsenic compounds were not detected from the solution, because almost all arsenic species were adsorbed onto ferrihydrite at lower pH. At pH= 12, however, 7%-10% of inorganic arsenic was detected in the solution. In solid phase, there are some problems to determine the precise ratio of inorganic and organic species. When the solution includes Fe ion at 0.01 M level, the retention time of arsenic species drifted compared to those in standard solution, which makes it difficult to determine precisely the arsenic species adsorbed on ferrihydrite. Therefore, more study is needed to determine the ratio of inorganic and organic species in the system.  相似文献

The occurrences and characteristics of the association of Au-Sb-As-W are summarized.An interpretation of the association is given according to the fact that the content of reduced sulfur in the ore-forming solution is much high relative to Cl in this kind of ore deposits especially for the Au-Sb-As with W,using the data on their complexes and solubility,The high dfineness of gold and the separation of gold from the base metals Cu,Pb,Zn,and sometimes from Ag in this kind of ore deposits are also interpreted.  相似文献

This paper presents REE abundance pattern and REE geochemistry of granodiorite porphyry, skarns, as well as late hydrothermal alterations in the Tongshan copper deposit, Guichi County and, in the light of their similarities and variations, deals with the genesis of the skarns and the transformation process of the post-skarn hydrothermal alterations. On such a basis, the inference is drawn that the skarn-forming solution was produced by further fractionation of residual magma, thus belonging to a transitional fluid between residual magma and hydrothermal solution which, with the continuous variation of its components during the metasomatism, tended to become a hydrothermal solution.  相似文献

Experimental research on the chemical weathering of alkaline-olivine basalt from Huangyi Mountain,Kuandain County,Liaoning.Province and olivine basalt from Dayangke,Mingxi County,Fujian Province has shown that the acidity of the solution tends to become neutral regardless of what the acidity of the starting solution would be during basalt0-water interaction.We call this phenome-non“pH neutralized Effect”.The dissolved species in the solution were determined and unreacted and reacted sample-surface chemical components involved or uninvolved in reaction were analyzed using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results revealed two different mechanisms of dissolution of basalt in acidic and basic solutions.  相似文献

The Wendeng gold deposit is located 30 km northwest of Wendeng City,Shandong Province, occurring in a brecciated alteration zone in the foot wall of the NNE-striking fault(F1). It consists of quartz, pyrite, specularite, potash feldspar, sericite, carbonates and chlorite hosted in Proterozoic biotite-plagioclasee gneiss. Three generations of quartz are recognized based on cathodoluminescence and micro morphology. Systematic studies of fluid inclusions provide data to establish P-T-V-X relations for the fluid evolution in mineralization process.It is concluded that the ore-forming solution was evolved from meteoric water through ghermal events during Mesozoic tectonics. The impact of CO2 sequestration on the host formation is an issue occurring over geologic time. Laboratory tests can provide important results to investigate this matter but have limitations due to a relatively short timeline. Based on literature review and core sample observation, naturally occurred geological phenomena, stylolites are studied in this paper for understanding CO2 sequestration in deep carbonate formations. Stylolites are distinctive and pervasive structures in carbonates that are related to water-assisted pressure solution. Pressure solution involving stylolitization is thought to be the main mechanism of compaction and cementation for many carbonates. In parallel, CO2 sequestration in carbonate formation involves extensive chemical reactions among water, CO2 and rock matrix, favoring chemical compaction as a consequence. An analogue between stylolites and CO2 sequestration induced formation heterogeneity exists in the sense of chemical compaction, as both pressure solution in stylolites and CO2 enriched solution in CO2 sequestration in carbonate formations may all introduce abnormal porous regions. The shear and/or tension fractures associated with stylolites zones may develop vertically or sub-vertically; all these give us alert for long-term safety of CO2 sequestration. Thus a study of stylolites will help to understand the CO2 sequestration in deep carbonate formation in the long run.  相似文献

The formation of the Mufushan granopegmatite was closely related to the Late Yenshanian multiphase and multistage magmatic activities,More than one generation of beryl and aquamarine occur in different types of pegmatite in the granites.The presence of melt and melt-fluid inclusions strongly indicates a melt-solution character of the pegmatitic magma.Forming temperatures of the different generations of beryl in a Na^ -K^ ,Ca^2 -CO3^2--Cl^--SO4^2- solution ranges from 990℃to 200℃.Aquamarine was formed at 720-180℃.The contents of alkali metals(Na^ K^ )in th ore-formming solution of aquamarine are lower than those in the beryl,but the contents of alkali earths(Ca) and salinity are higher,The granite was generated by remelting of the basement formation(meta-sedimentary rocks of the Lengjiaxi Group)which also served as the source of ore-forming material.Beryllium in the pegmatite was transported mainly in the form of Na[Be(CO3)2],with part of it being complexed with Cl^- and SO4^2-.During the generation and evolution of the pegmatite,equilibrium might have been reached in the solid-melt-fluid or solid-fluid system.The intergranular solutions may have reacted with the early crystallized minerals,resulting in potash-feldsparization,albitization and muscovitization during which the ore-forming elements were mobilized and transported in favour of ore deposition.  相似文献

The Jinman copper deposit,which is situated on the northern margin of the Lanping-Simao back-arc basin,western Yunnan Province,is a silver-bearing,high-grade vein-type copper deposit.Comprehensive element geochemical studies of the host rocks and hydrothermal minerals revealed the regularities in the distribution,mobilization and transport of elements from the host rocks to hydrothermal minerals.In conjunction with the fluid inclusion and isotope data,it is suggested that the ore-forming fluid was derived mainly from a deep source characterized by CO2 enrichment and reduction in nature.It is also suggested that the oreforming materials come largely from a deep source.although the contribution of the country rocks should not be ruled out.It is also found that some hydrothermal minerals are possessed of MREE-enrichment patterns.It is deduced that the REEs in the deep-source ore fluid were transported in the form of CO3^2- complexes and were deposited in a continental basin(or a hot-spring basin).  相似文献

The determination of boundary points and their correlation are prerequisites for defining the PrecambrianCambrian boundary and the intercontinental correlation. A large number of good Precambrian-Cambrian boundary sections in South Asia not only possess the conditions for selection of a boundary stratotype, but also provide the basis for the long-distance correlation of those boundary sections.Through a detailed study of the latest data obtained from the typical sections in South China, the Lesser Himalaya Mountains and the Alborz Mountains. the locations of boundary points have been defined, and a correlation scheme is proposed, which contributes to the solution of the problem of worldwide correlation of boundary sections.  相似文献

The range of observed chemical compositions of natural terrestrial waters varies greatly especially when compared to the essentially constant global composition of the oceans.The concentrations of the REEs in natural terrestrial waters also exhibit more variation than what was reported in seawater,In terrestrial waters ,pH values span the range from acid up to alkaline,In addition,terrestrial waters can range from very dilute waters through to highly concentrated brines.The REE concentrations and their behavior in natural terrestrial waters reflect these compositional ranges,Chemical weathering of rocks represents the source of the REEs to natural terrestrial waters and ,consequently,the REE signature of rocks can impart their REE signature to associated waters,In addition,Because of the typical low solubilities of the REEs both surface and solution complexation can be important in fractionating REEs in aqueous solution.Both of these processes are important in all natural terrestrial waters,however,their relative importance varies as a function of the overall solution composition,In alkaline waters,for example,Solution complexation of the REEs with carbonate ions appears to control their aqueous distributions whereas in acid waters,the REE signature of the labile fraction of the REEs is readily leached from the rocks.In circumneutral pH waters,both processes appear to be important and their relative significance has not yet been determined.  相似文献

The Changkeng gold-silver deposits consist of a sediment-hosted, disseminated gold deposit and a replacement-type silver deposit. The mineralizations of gold and silver are zoned and closely related to the silicification of carbonate and clastic rocks, so that siliceous ores dominate in the deposit. The mineralizing temperature ranges mainly from 300 to 170℃, and K+, Na+, Ca2+, Mg2+, and Cl- are the major ions in the ore-forming fluid. Calculations of distribution of metal complexes show that gold is mainly transported by hydrosulphide complexes, but chloride complexes of silver, iron, lead, and zinc, which are transformed into hydroxyl and hydrosulphide complexes under neutral to weak-alkaline circumstances in the late stage, predominate in the ore-forming solutions. Water-rock interaction is confirmed to be the effective mechanism for the formation of silver ores by computer modelling of reaction of hydrothermal solution with carbonate rocks. Data on the hydrolysis of Th (Ⅳ) and solubility of ThO2 in the presence of organic ligands are of critical importance to the safe disposal and treatment of high-level nuclear waste. Such data are required to predict reliably thorium behaviour in high-level waste repositories where organic anions may be present. In addition, recent studies of the performance of thorium-based fuels report that these fuels can be used to reduce concerns related to potential proliferation of nuclear weapons and disposal of the current uranium dioxide fuel waste. Because several reactor concepts based on thorium fuel cycles are under consideration, it is important to have thermodynamic data to predict how such fuel and its waste form will behave in the environment. To establish the effect of pH and organic ligands on the hydrolysis of Th (Ⅳ), experiments on the solubility of hydrous ThO2 in aqueous solution at room temperature were performed, covering a wide range of pH (pH=3.0 to 12.0) in 0.1 molal NaNO3 solutions. Experiments also were conducted in the presence of citrate, EDTA and oxalate with a concentration range 100 to 500 μmol. Approach to equilibrium was from supersaturation. Slopes of straight lines fit to plots of log mTh vs. pH were approximately -4 at the acidic region and near 0 at neutral and alkaline region for experiments conducted at constant ionic strength (I=0.1), implying that the dominant Th species should be Th4^+ and Th (OH)4(aq) The←→Th^4++2H2O ThO2+2H2O←→Th (OH)40 as follows: ThO2+4H^+ solubility of ThO2 decreases with increasing pH (pH 3 -6) and remains near the detection limit of ICP-MS (in the order of 10^-9 M to 10^1- M) in the range of pH 6-12. The dissipative structure is an ordered structure.When a ssyterm is far from reaching equilibrium in the condition of non-equilibrium and exchanges some energy and material with the surroundings,this structure will be formed and preserved.Starting with the analysis of practical data,we attempt to use this theory to discuss the tectono-geochemical problems of some rock and ore-forming systems in faults.1.Ordered structure:Under the geological condition,due to the opening of a system in which energy and material are involved in geochemical action,the entropy tends to reduce gradually and substances evolve from non-ordered to ordered in structure.In the processes of formation of rocks and ores in faults,various layer-bands will be formed in rocks.2.Functional action:The physico-chemical activities which include pressure-creeping and thermal-diffusion as well as liquid diffusion have been shown.3.Fluctuating cycle:In the process of metamorphism,various changes in pressure,temperature and liquid are of fluctuation and periodicity.These may play an important role in the formation of rocks and minerals and the occurrence of ordered structures in fault zones.A few examples of mineral deposits in the middle and lower Yangtze River Valley are presented here,and the dissipative activities of rock-forming minerals and mineral-forming elements have been preliminarily established.  相似文献

The uranium deposit Straz pod Ralskem in the northern part of the Czech Republic was exploited by underground acidic leaching between 1968 and 1996. More than 14000 tons of uranium were produced during this period. More than 4 million tons of H2SO4, 300 thousand tons of HNO3, 120 thousand tons of NH3 and other chemicals were injected in Cenomanian sandstones. The mining has resulted in a large contamination of ground waters. Lateral hydrodynamic dispersion of the pollutants and migration of pollutants across aquitard are a potential hazard to drinking water supply and to surface aquatic environment, Chemical leaching was done by forced circulation of a technological acid solution introduced to the sandstones through injection drill holes and withdrawal of the enriched resulting solution by production wells. The solution is reacting not only with uranium ore, but also with minerals of the rock environment. Hydrogen ions are replaced by uranium and other cations leached from the rock, especially Fe, Al, Be and As. Ammonia remaining after the precipitation of the yellow cake (ammonium diuranate) was rejected underground in spite of that it serves no purpose in the underground leaching. High concentrations of Al, Be, As and ammonium ions in ground water became the most serious ecological pollutant. Modelling of the hydrodynamic dispersion of the pollutants predicts the future risks to local water supplies in 200 to 500 years. A possible way to reduce the risk is an immobilization of the pollutants in deeper parts of the sandstone aquifer. We found that modeling of the geochemical reactions using classical hydrochemical models give unrealistic results because of formation of colloidal particles.  相似文献

Systematic determination of and adsorption experiment on fluorine in the carbonate rock-soil-water system in the karst region studied in Guzhou Province,in conjunction with the mineral surface and soil chemistry data,have revealed the geochemical characteristics of F and the mechanisms of its transport and entrichment in the rock-soil-water-system of the karst region central guizhou province,Deep-seated underground waters(-100m or lower)and soil layers in the karst region of central Guizhou are characterized by high-F anomalies whereas shallow-level underground and surface waters by low contents of F(mostly lower than 05mg/L).Fluorine in soil and water in the region studied comes largely from Triassic marine strata dominated by gypsum-bearing carbonate rocks.The special adsorption and desorption of F on the surface of geothite in soil layers are the important mechanisms of its transport and enrichment in the rock-soil-water system of the karst region studied.  相似文献
