Photometry of mutual occultations and eclipses of natural planetary satellites allows accurate astrometric data to be obtained by reducing the derived light curves of the satellites. In contrast to commonly used techniques by which the differences between the topocentric angular coordinates of satellites are deduced, we suggest a new approach and develop a corresponding method. To simplify the use of photometric data, the differences between the planetocentric rectangular coordinates of the two satellites at one time are deduced in the new method from each light curve. The advantages of this approach are that after such an observational data reduction, it will suffice to consider only the planetocentric motion of the satellites to improve their orbital parameters. 相似文献

This paper reviews the most important components of the national project of the Ukrainian Virtual Observatory (UkrVO). Among them, there is the establishment of a Joint Digital Archive (JDA) of observational data, which has been obtained at Ukrainian observatories since the 1890s, including an astronegative JDA (more than 200 thousand plates). Since this task requires VO-oriented software, such issues as content verification software, integrity and administration of the JDA, compliance of image formats with the IVOA standards, and photometric and astrometric calibration of images are considered as the most important directions of software development, which carried out by members of the UkrVO. The scientific projects using local data archives of the UkrVO are discussed, namely: an analysis of a long observational series of active galactic nuclei, the study of solar flares and solar active regions based on spectral observational archives, research and discovery of variable stars, and the study of stellar fields in the vicinity of gamma-ray bursts. Particular attention is devoted to the CoLiTec Program that permits us to increase a number of observed solar system bodies and allows us to discover new bodies; for example, the C/2010 (Elenin) and P/2011 N01 comets were discovered using this program at the ISON-NM Observatory. The paper notes the creation of the UkrVO JDA prototype that provides access to the databases of the Main Astronomical Observatory, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (MAO NAS of Ukraine); Nikolaev Astronomical Observatory (NAO); and Lvov Astronomical Observatory. 相似文献

The space telescope Search for Terrestrial Exo-Planets (STEP) employed a method of sub-pixel technology which ensures that the astrometric accuracy of the telescope on the focal plane is at the order of 1 μas. This kind of astrometric precision is promising to detect the earth-like planets beyond the solar system. In this paper, we analyze the influence of some key factors, including the errors in the stellar proper motion, parallax, the optical center of the system, and the velocity and position of the satellite, on the detection of exoplanets. We propose a relative angular distance method to evaluate the non-linear terms in the variation of star-pair's angular distance caused by the possibly existing exoplanet. This method could avoid the direct influence of measuring errors of the position and proper motion of the reference stars. Supposing that there are eight reference stars and a target star with a planet system in the same field of view, we simulate their five-year observational data, and use the least square method to get the parameters of the planet orbit. Our results show that the method is robust to detect terrestrial planets based on the 1 μas precision of STEP. 相似文献
