环台湾岛海域半日潮波特征的三维模拟   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
用1997版POM海洋模式,首次应用于环台湾岛海域的潮波数值研究.得到该海域的半日潮波主要为23°N以南西太平洋传来的胁振潮.影响台湾海峡的半日潮波分别由海峡南北口传入的两支潮波,且北支强于南支.福建沿岸湄州湾-兴化湾为最强潮区,其M2分潮最大振幅可达240cm.最强潮流区位于澎湖水道,M2分潮最大潮流达196cm/s.环台湾岛海域潮波潮流水平结构上除海峡北部原有一个圆流点外,还发现另外存在4个新的圆流点.潮流垂直结构上主要为右偏,接近底层处为左偏.  相似文献

钦州湾水交换能力数值模拟研究   总被引:7,自引:0,他引:7  
基于普林斯顿海洋模式(Princeton Ocean Model,POM),以M2、S2、K1、O1、M4和MS4 6个分潮为驱动,建立了包含漫滩处理的高分辨率钦州湾水动力模式。与现场观测的数据对比表明,该模式能较好地刻画钦州湾的水动力特征。在此基础上建立了水质模型,模拟钦州湾的水交换过程。模拟结果表明:钦州湾水交换能力整体上较强,整个湾平均的水体半交换时间约为18 d,水体平均存留时间为45 d。空间分布上,钦州保税港区以南海域水交换能力最强,半交换时间小于1 d;沿着水道向北,水交换能力逐渐减弱;茅尾海中部半交换时间为26~28 d;茅尾海的东、西、北3个部分存在水交换滞缓区,半交换时间超过50 d。数值实验表明,采用漫滩技术对准确模拟钦州湾潮流速度和水交换能力非常重要,不考虑漫滩过程会低估钦州湾的潮流速度和水体交换能力。水平扩散系数对流速及交换时间都有影响,但影响有限。  相似文献

莫桑比克海峡及其邻近海区是全球海洋潮流和潮能耗散最强的海区之一。文章利用高分辨率通用环流模式对该海区的正压潮流进行模拟, 并对该海区潮能通量和潮能耗散特征进行分析。结果表明, 莫桑比克海峡及其邻近海区的潮波主要是半日分潮占主导地位, 全日分潮可忽略不计, M2分潮形成1个左旋潮波系统和1个右旋潮波系统, S2分潮形成1个左旋潮波系统。莫桑比克海峡和马达加斯加岛南部等绝大数区域的M2和S2半日潮流是逆时针旋转, 在马达加斯加岛顶部等局部区域是顺时针旋转, 而且在海峡通道等复杂地形处潮流流速量级较大。潮能通量矢量主要来自东边界, 大部分潮能通量沿马达加斯岛北部传入莫桑比克海峡区域, 其中经过马达加斯加岛北部和进入莫桑比克海峡的M2 (S2)分潮的潮能通量分别为156.86GW (40.53GW)和148.07GW (36.05GW), S2分潮潮能通量的量级大约为M2分潮的1/5~1/4。底摩擦耗散主要发生莫桑比克海峡和马达加斯加岛南北部, 其中莫桑比克海峡M2 (S2)分潮的底摩擦耗散为1.762GW (0.460GW), 占其底部总耗散的43.74% (39.72%)。  相似文献

基于FVCOM的廉州湾及周边海域三维潮汐潮流数值模拟   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
基于采用不规则三角网格和有限体积方法的FVCOM模式,建立廉州湾三维潮流数值模型来重现廉州湾及周边海域的潮位和潮流变化状况。根据模拟结果计算得到了较以往更为精细的廉州湾及周边海域K1、O1和M2分潮的同潮图,并计算了由此3个分潮引起的潮汐不对称的变化情况。K1和O1分潮在廉州湾外主要以驻波的形式存在,进入廉州湾后转化为前进波;M2分潮在廉州湾外主要以前进波的形式存在,进入廉州湾后前进波特征更为明显。K1和O1分潮流在廉州湾外以旋转流为主,在廉州湾内以往复流为主;M2分潮流在整个研究海域以往复流为主。由潮余流场的分布特点可以看出自南向北由外海进入廉州湾的潮余流,在冠头岭处分为两支,一支逆时针转向西,另一支被冠头岭阻挡在其南侧形成顺时针封闭环流。在廉州湾内部同时存在2个环流系统,湾顶的气旋式环流和口门处的反气旋式环流。  相似文献

针对杭州湾独特的喇叭型强潮河口湾的特点,基于Blumberg等(1996)的ECOMSED模式,引入动边界技术,建立杭州湾三维动边界的潮流模型.模型以正交曲线坐标下三维非线性水动力方程为基本方程,应用Mellor和Yamada的2.5阶湍流闭合模型计算紊动黏滞系数,嵌入Grant和Madsen的底边界层模型考虑波浪对底部应力的作用,采用干湿网格法模拟潮流漫滩过程;综合考虑径流,风应力,密度流和M2,S2,K1,O1四个主要分潮和M4,S4,MS4三个浅水分潮的作用,从而提高杭州湾潮流模拟的精度.通过验潮站调和常数和多次海流连续观测资料的验证,表明该文建立的模型可以更好的用于杭州湾流场的预报模拟.  相似文献

基于FVCOM的泉州湾海域三维潮汐与潮流数值模拟   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
基于FVCOM海洋数值模式,采用非结构的三角形网格和有限体积法,建立了泉州湾海域高分辨率(26 m)的三维潮汐、潮流数值模型。模拟结果同2个验潮站和3个连续测流站的观测资料符合良好,较好地反映了泉州湾内潮汐、潮流运动的变化状况和分布特征,给出了M2、S2、K1、O1 4个主要分潮的同潮图、表层潮流椭圆分布,以及模拟区域内最大可能潮差、表层最大可能潮流流速和潮余流分布。分析表明,4个分潮的最大潮汐振幅和迟角差分别为219 cm和19°,85 cm和25°,26 cm和12°,26 cm和9°;石湖港以东海域的潮波为逆时针旋转的驻波,以西海域为前进波;最大可能潮差由湾口的8.0m向湾内增加至8.8 m。湾内潮流类型为规则半日潮流,落潮最大流速大于涨潮最大流速,北乌礁水道为强流区,表层最大可能潮流流速为2.4 m/s;湾口潮流运动以逆时针方向的旋转流形式为主,湾内的潮流运动以往复流形式为主,长轴走向主要沿着水道方向,与等深线和海岸线平行;四个分潮流表层最大流速分别为1.4 m/s,0.58 m/s,0.12 m/s,0.10 m/s。余流流速大小与潮流强弱有密切的联系,表、中、底层最大余流流速分别为26 cm/s,20 cm/s,16 cm/s,三者在水平方向基本呈北进南出的分布形态。  相似文献

本文使用ADI方法对南海西南海域M2分潮波进行了数值模拟,取得了满意的结果,同时还对此海区的岸形、底形和科氏效应做了数值试验。笔者得出结论:在此海区中存在三个无潮点和三个明显的潮波腹点;泰国湾口的顺时针旋转潮波系统是在弱科氏力作用下,潮波在湾口作缓慢的右转弯形成的;在潮波腹点附近,以腹点为中心流场呈放射状分布。  相似文献

本文采用ECOM-SED模式、算子分裂法和“干、湿”点法建立了胶州湾变边界数值模型。从潮、余流、潮波系统和潮流能几方面预测分析了胶州湾前湾追地对海洋水动力的影响。结果表明,前湾填海对胶州湾的潮波系统影响甚微,振幅和位相的变化都在1%以内。但是在前湾和工程附近海域潮流和余流变化比较大,其他海域的潮流和余流变化不大,潮流流速变化为1%左右,余流流速变化为3.14%~9.16%。填海后,内湾口和外湾口附近潮能通量增加2.6%~5.24%,前湾和工程局部区域潮能通量减小20.21%~87.23%。  相似文献

利用基于普林斯顿海洋模式建立的胶州湾及临近海域潮汐潮流数值模型,结合胶州湾口走航式声学多普勒海流剖面仪(ADCP)测流资料,研究了胶州湾口的潮(余)流特征,并在潮流模型的基础上耦合建立了水质模块,模拟了胶州湾的水交换过程。考虑M2,S2,K1,O1,M4和MS4六个主要分潮,胶州湾口潮流场的模拟与ADCP观测数据吻合较好。外湾口水道上的潮流非常强,大潮期间观测到201 cm/s的峰值流速。团岛岬角的两侧分别存在一个流向相反的余流涡旋,两涡旋在团岛附近辐合,形成了57 cm/s的离岸强余流。整个胶州湾平均水体存留时间为71 d,平均半交换时间为25 d。胶州湾水体交换能力在空间分布上有很大差异:湾口海域最强,向湾顶逐渐减弱。湾内存在两个弱交换区,分别位于湾的西-西南部和东北端,水体存留时间多超过80 d,湾西局部水域最长达120 d,而半交换时间也大多超过40 d。潮流场的结构、强度,以及与湾口距离的远近是造成湾内水交换能力空间差异的主要原因。  相似文献

采用无结构三角形网格海洋模式FVCOM,基于胶州湾不同年代的岸线和水深地形条件,建立胶州湾及其邻近海域各年代的三维潮汐潮流数值模型,从数值模拟角度分析和比较胶州湾不同年代纳潮量、潮汐潮流、水交换率等水动力参数的变化。结果表明:随着胶州湾水域总面积不断缩小,纳潮量在逐渐减小,2008年全湾的纳潮量相对于1935年减少了31.5%,约合3.9×108 m3;海湾流场结构变化很小,流速呈减小趋势;胶州湾欧拉余流"团团转"的多涡结构基本保持不变,最大值都发生在团岛附近;海湾的水交换能力趋弱,对整个胶州湾水体的半交换时间进行海湾平均,不同年代5套岸线下海湾的水体半交换时间分别是37.0 d,36.7 d,39.2 d,39.7 d和40.8 d。  相似文献

A vertically integrated 2D numerical model was developed for the simulation of major tidal constituents (M2, S2, N2, K1 and O1) in the Bay of Bengal. The bathymetry for the model domain was derived from an improved ETOPO5 dataset prepared in our earlier work. The simulated tidal elevations showed good agreement with the hourly tide gauge observations at Paradip, Visakhapatnam, and Chennai. The amplitudes and phases of M2, S2, K1, and O1 at the coastal stations, obtained from harmonic analysis of simulated tides, were found to agree well with those obtained from Admiralty Tide Tables with the RMS misfit 9.2, 5.6, 2.9 and 3.1 cm, respectively. In the Bay of Bengal, semi-diurnal tides (M2, S2, and N2) attain highest amplitudes (180, 80, 30 cm, respectively) in the Gulf of Martaban while amplitudes of diurnal tides (K1, O1) reaches maximum (20, 12 cm, respectively) in the Malacca Strait. The continental shelf in the head bay and along the southern coast of Myanmar is about 200 km wide and the amplitudes of semi-diurnal tides are doubled in these regions while the diurnal tides amplify only marginally, which is consistent with Clarke and Battisti theory. In the north eastern end of the head bay and the Gulf of Martaban, the geometrical configuration of the coastline, in addition to the wide continental shelf, could contribute to the amplification of both semi-diurnal and diurnal constituents. In the Malacca Strait, the amplitudes of both semi-diurnal and diurnal tides are found to increase gradually from the northern end to the 2.5°N and decreases towards southern boundary. The co-tidal and co-range charts of M2 and S2 tidal constituents also show the presence of two degenerate amphidromic points in the head bay. A virtual amphidromic point for M2 is identified in the Malacca Strait.  相似文献

胶州湾是我国沿海的一个重要港湾,长期以来对其进行了较多的调查研究工作。大港验潮站自1926年起开始观测(1936-1946年曾中断),目前已积累了44年的长期水位资料。山角底验潮站自1967年开始观测,也积累了16年的水位资料。我们还系统地搜集了我所1958-1959年在薛家岛、东洋嘴、团岛、麦岛、大公岛分别进行的四个月、两个月及半个月的观测资料,以及山东海洋学院1975年在红岛船厂(阴岛)、黄岛客运码头分别进行的三个月及两个月的水位观测资料和团岛湾、后岔湾、大石头等地的潮汐调和常数。此外,我们还搜集了胶州湾及其附近海区共二十三个测站的海流连续观测资料,其中十九个站的资料是由我所在1957-1959年观测的,三个站是1982年“全国海岸带调查”中测得的,另一个站是华东水利学院提供的资料。这些测站,除六个站为一昼夜连续观测外,其余十七个站均为二昼夜以上连续观测(有一个站为十五昼夜连续观测)。观测站位见图1。 我们把搜集到的这些潮汐、潮流资料进行了调和分析,得到了各主要分潮的调和常数及潮汐、潮流特征值。本文以此为基础,结合实测资料,分析了胶州湾潮汐、潮流的基本特征。  相似文献

胶州湾水域有机农药HCH的分布和稀释过程   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
根据1983年5月、9月和10月的胶州湾水域调查资料,分析了有机农药六六六(HCH)在胶州湾水域的分布、来源和季节变化。研究结果表明:在胶州湾水域没有受到HCH的污染。通过河流输入近岸水域和通过地表径流直接输入近岸水域的HCH含量是一样的,非常低。HCH来源是面来源。在夏季,输入的胶州湾水域的HCH含量与春、秋季相比,相对较高。根据HCH在胶州湾水域的分布、来源和季节变化,认为1983年HCH含量变化由胶州湾附近盆地的雨量大小所决定。在胶州湾湾口水域,表层的HCH水平分布状况与底层的HCH水平分布状况一致。HCH的含量在表层的减少完全依赖胶州湾潮流的稀释,不仅在水体表层中HCH含量会形成低值区域,而且在水体底层中HCH含量也会形成低值区域。  相似文献

Current, sea level and bed-load transport are investigated in the Lower Piscataqua River section of the Great Bay Estuary, New Hampshire, USA—a well-mixed and geometrically complex system with low freshwater input, having main channel tidal currents ranging between 0.5 and 2 m s−1. Current and sea level forced by the M2M4M6 tides at the estuarine mouth are simulated by a vertically averaged, non-linear, time-stepping finite element model. The hydrodynamic model uses a fixed boundary computational domain and accounts for flooding–drying of tidal flats by making use of a groundwater component. Inertia terms are neglected in comparison with pressure gradient and bottom friction terms, which is consistent with the observed principal dynamic balance for this section of the system. The accuracy of hydrodynamic predictions in the study area is demonstrated by comparison with four tidal elevation stations and two cross-section averaged current measurements. Simulated current is then used to model bed-load transport in the vicinity of a rapidly growing shoal located in the main channel of the lower system. Consisting of coarse sand and gravel, the shoal must be dredged every five to eight years. Two approaches are taken—an Eulerian parametric method in which nodal bed-load flux vectors are averaged over the tidal cycle and a Lagrangian particle tracking approach in which a finite number of sediment particles are released and tracked. Both methods yield pathways and accumulations in agreement with the observed shoal formation and the long-term rate of sediment accumulation in the shoal area.  相似文献

A non-linear hydrodynamic model is used to describe the tidal dynamics of Shark Bay, Western Australia. The model is forced by tidal elevations generated by M2, S2, K1 and O1 constituent data at the open boundaries. The absence of suitable boundary data required a ‘calibration’ of the boundary condition against the known constituent data from within the model domain. The model provides a good match to the available field data, and allows the surface-level and current response to be resolved over the entire domain. Due to a near quarter-wave resonance of the semi-diurnal tide along the eastern Hopeless Reach, which increases the semi-diurnal tide by a factor of 2, the tidal characteristics on each of the Reaches are different: on the eastern Hopeless Reach the tides are mainly semi-diurnal while on the western Freycinet Reach the tides are mainly diurnal. The tidal range is also higher along Hopeless Reach. Tidal harmonics, generated by non-linearity, are important in the shallow regions. The tidal wave is shown to propagate as a progressive wave into the Bay. Substantial phase-lag, attenuation and dissipation occur over the Faure Sill, a major shallow region of the eastern reach of the Bay. Non-linear generation of the M4 and MS4 tides is also significant in this region. Depth-averaged residual currents are presented, which show a tidally generated circulation that is enhanced in regions of complex topography. Estimates of tidal dissipation indicate that although the total dissipation is small on a global scale, the areal average is comparable with the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately one-quarter of the value estimated for the Patagonian Shelf.  相似文献

During 1999–2000, 13 bottom mounted acoustic Doppler current profilers (ADCPs) and 12 wave/tide gauges were deployed along two lines across the Korea/Tsushima Strait, providing long-term measurements of currents and bottom pressure. Tidally analyzed velocity and pressure data from the moorings are used in conjunction with other moored ADCPs, coastal tide gauge measurements, and altimeter measurements in a linear barotropic data assimilation model. The model fits the vertically averaged data to the linear shallow water equations in a least-squares sense by only adjusting the incoming gravity waves along the boundaries. Model predictions are made for the O1, P1, K1, μ2, N2, M2, S2, and K2 tides. An extensive analysis of the accuracy of the M2 surface-height predictions suggests that for broad regions near the mooring lines and in the Jeju Strait the amplitude prediction errors are less than 0.5 cm. Elsewhere, the analysis suggests that errors range from 1 to 4 cm with the exception of small regions where the tides are not well determined by the dataset. The errors in the model predictions are primarily caused by bias error in the model’s physics, numerics, and/or parameterization as opposed to random errors in the observational data. In the model predictions, the highest ranges in sea level height occur for tidal constituents M2, S2, K1, O1, and N2, with the highest magnitudes of tidal velocities occurring for M2, K1, S2, and O1. The tides exhibit a complex structure in which diurnal constituents have higher currents relative to their sea level height ranges than semi-diurnal constituents.  相似文献

Hydrodynamic model application to Buzzards Bay is performed using a three-dimensional Boundary-fitted Hydrodynamic model in this study. The model is forced with observed tidal harmonic constants along the open boundaries and winds on the surface. The main focus of the present study is to model the detailed wind and tide-induced circulation in Buzzards Bay. The observed surface elevations and currents given in [Butman, B., Signell, R., Shoukimas, P., Beardsley, R.C., 1988. Current Observations in Buzzards Bay, 1982–1986. Open File Report 88-5. United States Geological Survey] and the tide and current harmonics given in [Signell, R.P., 1987. Tide- and Wind-forced Currents in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. Technical Report WH-87-15. Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, Massachusetts] are used to validate the model predictions. The calibrated model is then used to study the relative contributions of tidal and wind forcing on the instantaneous and residual circulation in Buzzards Bay. The amplitudes and phases of the principal tidal constituents at 10 tidal stations in Buzzards Bay obtained from a harmonic analysis of a 60-day simulation compare well with the observed data. The predicted amplitude and phase of the M2 tidal constituent of surface elevations at these stations are, respectively, within 4 cm and 5° of the observed data. The errors in the model-predicted M2 harmonic principal current speeds are less than 6 cm/s, and the principal current directions and phases are within 14° of the observations. United States Geological Survey] are used to validate the model-predicted low-frequency surface elevations and currents. The model predictions in low-frequency surface elevations at Woods Hole closely follow the trends seen in the observations with a correlation coefficient of 0.735, but fail to capture some of the peak surges seen in the observations. The model-predicted low-frequency currents in the east–west direction at stations in Buzzards Bay compare well with the observations with the correlation coefficient exceeding 0.811 and the model capturing the trends seen in the observations, for the most part. However, the model-predicted north–south velocities does not compare well with the observations. The model-predictions agree with the observations that the tidal currents in Vineyard Sound lagged the currents in Buzzards Bay by more than 3 h. The interaction of wind stress with large bathymetric gradients was shown to cause many vortices in Buzzards Bay, as seen from the model predictions. Model simulations show that the winds play a more dominant role than the tides in the generation of the barotropic residual currents in Buzzards Bay, while the model-predicted tide-induced residual current was seen to be small.  相似文献
