总结了１９９８年全国各省,自治区,直辖市在１：５万,１：２５万区域地质调查和１：５万区调片区总结中取得的成果,在地层古生物,岩石,构造,矿产,农业地质,生态地质,环境地质,旅游地质等方面的调查中都取得了许多新成果。

四川区域地质调查历程与展望

四川区调从１９５７ 年起步,１∶１００ 万和１∶２０ 万区调分别于１９７４ 年和１９８６ 年完成,积累了丰富的基础地质资料,发现了一批矿产地。１∶５ 万区调已完成面积近五分之一,开展了生态、环境等专题研究,扩大了成果的服务领域。在新形势下,区调应以可持续发展为已任,围绕国民经济发展需要,采用综合方法和高新技术开拓进取。

TM正射遥感影像地图在四川南江地区区调研究及成矿预测中的应用

正射遥感影像地图是遥感数字图像经过精纠正（包括投影差改正）,并与数字化的简化地形图复合的一种新图．通过在ＧＰＳ,ＧＩＳ数据点控制下遥感图像的精校正,研制出了试验区具有国际分幅规格标准的１∶５万正射遥感影像地图,并直接用于遥感区调试验和成矿预测研究．研究中应用新研制的正射遥感影像（地图）进行地质解译和地质、物探、化探、遥感等多元地学信息综合与复合处理及成矿预测,完成了试验区１∶５万解译地质图、成矿预测图等系列图件,取得了显著效果．

Lithostratigraphy, physicochemical stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, and geochronology of the 77–70 Ma old series bracketing the Campanian–Maastrichtian boundary have been investigated by 70 experts. For the first time, direct relationships between macro- and microfossils have been established, as well as direct and indirect relationships between chemo-physical and biostratigraphical tools. A combination of criteria for selecting the boundary level, duration estimates, uncertainties on durations and on the location of biohorizons have been considered; new chronostratigraphic units are proposed. The geological site at Tercis is accepted by the Commission on Stratigraphy as the international reference for the stratigraphy of the studied interval. To cite this article: G.S. Odin, C. R. Late Wuchiapingian (Late Dzhulfian,early Late Permian) limestone olistolites within the Tertiary flysch of Glypia Unit (Mount Parnon,central–eastern Peloponnesus,Greece)

Some olistolites reworked in a Tertiary flysch of Mount Parnon (Peloponnesus, Greece) exhibit a Late Permian assemblage, dominated by Paradunbarula (Shindella) shindensis, Hemigordiopsis cf. luquensis and Colaniella aff. minima. This association corresponds to the Late Wuchiapingian (=Late Dzhulfian), a substage whose algae and foraminifera are generally little known. Contemporaneous limestones crop out in the middle part of the Episkopi Formation in Hydra, but they are rather commonly reworked in Mesozoic and Cainozoic sequences. The palaeobiogeographical affinities shared by the foraminiferal markers of Greece, southeastern Pamir, and southern China, are very strong (up to the specific level), and are congruent with the Pangea B reconstructions.
