Abstract:This paper deals with the principles of computation method for joint interpretation of the apparent resistivities and impedance phases from magnetotelluric data. Analysis of concrete actual examples indicates that the method is correct and effective. This method is more predominant in respect of reducing solutions than is inversion method for pure apparent resistivity data or impedance phase data.
