摘    要:本文用GTS线路的NOAA气象卫星探测并推算到的大气厚度资料,对我国现行的北半球业务数值天气分析和预报系统,进行了卫星探测资料对其影响的个例试验。试验结果表明,这种影响是存在的。同时发现,卫星探测资料对数值天气分析的影响与地区及天气系统有关,在常规资料缺乏的地区及强天气系统附近有较大的影响;对数值天气预报的影响,则与天气系统的演变有关,在发展的系统中有较大的影响。


A Case Study of the Impact of Satellite Sounding Data on Numerical Weather Analysis and Forecast

Abstract:A case study of the impact of satellite sounding data on the numerical weather analysis and forecast has been done in the northern hemisphere operational numerical weather analysis and forecast system of National Meteorological Center, SMA. The thickness data from NOAA meteorological satellite, derived from satellite temperature soundings. have been used in the experiments. The results reveal that satellite soundings make an improvement on the numerical weather analysis and forecast. The impact of satellite soundings on the numerical weather analysis is related to the region and synoptic system, this impact mainly occurs in the sparse conventional data area and in the vicinity of strong weather systems. Also, the impact on numerical weather forecast is bound up with the evolution of synoptic systems, and this impact substantially occurs is developing systems.
