Abstract:View of impactites surrounding the Haughton River valley from atop an impact melt rock outcrop at the Haughton impact structure, Nunavut, Canada. The inset on the left is a calcite‐marcasite vug formed in the post‐impact hydrothermal system and later weathered at low temperatures.
