    2019年至今,全球范围锂矿找矿力度依旧未减,热点地区不断取得新进展,成果丰硕。本文对2019年至2021年期间国外一些重点锂矿项目的找矿勘查进展情况及动向进行概述。总体来看,锂矿的全球分布格局相对稳定,盐湖型锂矿和伟晶岩型锂矿仍占据主导地位,并在相应热点地区取得重大进展。此外,沉积型及热泉型等新类型锂矿的勘查工作在美国及欧洲等地区也取得了一系列新进展。较国外而言,我国取得的找矿进展和实际增加的资源储量依然有限。通过借鉴国外锂矿勘探项目的新进展,认为国内应树牢安全意识,加大对锂等战略性矿产资源的调查评价与勘查投入;进一步加强对伟晶岩型、盐湖型等传统类型以及岩体型、沉积型及热泉型等新类型锂矿的调查研究,不断拓展找矿新区域、新空间;加速国内锂矿产业化进程,不断健全锂业产业链,在上游加强国内锂资源找矿勘查的同时,要注重下游高端产品的研发。

    Abstract:

    Since 2019, the global lithium ore prospecting efforts have remained unabated, and new progress has been made in hot spots with fruitful results. This paper provides an overview of the prospecting and exploration progress and trends of some key foreign lithium ore projects from 2019 to 2021. In general, the global distribution pattern of lithium resources is relatively stable, with salt lake- type lithium resources and pegmatite- type lithium resources still occupying a dominant position, and significant progress has been made in corresponding hot spots. In addition, the exploration of new types of lithium deposits such as sedimentary- type and hot springs type has also made a series of new progress in the United States and Europe. Compared with foreign countries, China’s prospecting progress and the actual increase in resource reserves are still limited. By learning from the new progress of foreign lithium exploration projects, it is suggested China should: ① strengthen safety awareness and increase investment in the investigation, evaluation and exploration of lithium and other strategic mineral resources; ② strengthen investigation and research on traditional types such as rock type, salt lake type, and new types of lithium deposits such as rock type, sedimentary type and hot spring type, and constantly expand new areas and new space for prospecting; ③ accelerate the process of domestic lithium ore industrialization, improve the lithium industry chain, and focus on the research and development of downstream high- end products while strengthening domestic lithium resource prospecting and exploration in the upstream.
