Aiming at the difficulty of detecting and identifying mine targets，this paper analyzes the main characteristics of mine and sonar images. This paper introduces traditional mine detecting method with characteristics of statistical feature，morphology，maximum entropy，fractals and cluster，as well as mine target detection and identification method with deep learning technology，thus providing technical references for subsequent algorithm research and development.
