Development of research on pressure transducer static matching error in rock and soil

Abstract: The recent development of research on pressure transducer static matching error in rock and soil is described briefly. The approximate analytic theory and uniform quantitative calculating formulae of matching error are deduced; and optimum indenting displacement coefficient is obtained. The relation between two matching conditions is established; and the stress distributions on transducer sensing surface and in soil around transducer are given.
