| Abstract: |
| The Changjiang Estuary is the gate of the Shanghai Harbour and the throat tor the six provinces in the Changjiang drainage area. But there exists a sand bar near the Changjiang mouth-gate, and the minimum depth is only about six meters, thus making development of the Shanghai Harbour and the utilization of water transport in the Changjiang river greatly limited. This article attempts to determine the line for dredging and disposal of the dredged soil and to find a better way to deepen the waterway. |
